  Not a good experience. Far below average in every sense. 1. It’s not a good start when the waiter asks if you want a curry “with rice”. Of course, it is standard for curry to come with rice. This is obviously a tactic to justify charging for the rice from the start. 2. No appetizers offered, as is standard in Lisbon’s many Indian/Nepali restaurants. 3. Portions were very small, food was not tasty, poor quality…and biryani didn’t come with yogurt — again, not standard. Food was just bad. 4. Price was truthfully laughable: there is no justification for a restaurant of quality this low to charge 15€ (!) for a vegetarian curry + rice. It’s such a grift, it’s actually kind of funny how brazen it is. 5. I was hoping I could leave 2 stars since the servers were friendly — but at the end, when they asked quite directly for a positive review on google…it feels like they want to pressure a positive review while offering a completely negative experience. Just a poor experience all around, definitely managed in a way to operate with low standards and still try to maximize profit. Skip this mediocre place — Darshan is far better!   Enjoyed the lamb vindaloo and saag paneer here. We ordered the vindaloo extra spicy, though it was just moderately spicy, so there's no need to be intimidated about spice levels here. Overall the food was very good, better than another more popular indian restaurant I've visited a couple times in Lisbon.   As a seasoned traveler I was dubious of finding quality Indian food in Lisbon but boyyyy was I wrong. Wonderful food, only a single hard working waiter and he provided everything and more than was expected in a timely manner. Large Naan bread servings were a warm and delicious soppee for the various curries we ordered. Chef’s recommendation of the lamb dish was well spiced, highly recommend to any that can handle it. Masala was delicious but low on the spice level- good for all you haoles out there but even better when we asked for the chili oil to put on top. Best masala I’ve ever had, probably the best in the continent, nigh… the world. It also goes without saying prices are very reasonable, which makes this place a perfect location for a family dinner. One suggestion I would offer is to install AC or keep the door open, especially in the summer.   This restaurant was such a disappointment. I feel bad for the people of Lisbon if this is what is being passed off as "Indian" food. The raitha had sugar, the mango kulfi was not kulfi,... rather frozen mango pulp. the jeera rice was over seasoned with excess cumin seeds. The dal tudka was a thick tomato mess.   I was here based on the previous reviews and decided to try something new. I went to the lovely little restaurant and was immediately impressed by the attentive staff and the good looking and small, and cosy restaurant. The food: every single dish was incredible. We had both meat and veggy options, all cooked to perfection. The flavours were so rich and the food felt absolutely fresh, home made and hearty. I had no idea that a vegetarian dish could be as good as a lamb Gurkha! Great place, especially for dates or nice nights out especially if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of larger restaurants.   I am a frequent visitor to this restaurant and I cannot fault it in any way. The food is the best Asian cuisine I have ever had. if somebody have a confusion about asian dishes then i would like to suggest you all to try Lamb Gurkha, chicken tikka masala with the cheese garlic naan bread or you can choose from plenty of choices. i am sure, you will honestly love it, In addition, The restaurant is with the Great atmosphere, good decor, very efficient and friendly staff.   Less impressive than the Nepalese restaurants I tried in Helsinki. In fact, the service and staffs are very good as in other Nepalese restaurants but the food is not that impressive.
