  This is the perfect restaurant for vegetarians. This place is a real blessing. Every weekday (except for Friday maybe?) there's a very good value lunch menu with two options (one vegan, the other with cheese), each time coming with a poppadum, a Naan, some rice, a a samosa, a bit of salad, and a drink. There was little flavor and taste in main course Paneer tikkas and Royla the two item of the same level. Aloo dum for 4 persons was served 3 pieces.   I love this Indian place. They have so many vegetarian Indian dishes and they taste very authentic. Prices are also good and you really get good recommendations from the service personnel. This place looks very clean and the kitchen is open so you can even look inside a little bit which is great. The food is being served in really nice little bowls or on specific plates.   After visiting several indian restaurants in Lisbon, in my opinion, as an Indian,this is the best and most authentic Indian dining experience. It's a must visit Indian restaurant if you are in Lisbon and craving for Indian delicacy. Just a heads up it's 100% vegetarian and has loads of dishes yo try. I would highly recommend to try Main Thali (available on all days except Thursday on which you get south Indian dishes instead of Thali), Dahi poori and Gajar ka Halwa.   Dhruv was an excellent server and gave good suggestions. Many people spoke my mom's language so we could easily communicate with the owner and waiter. The food was also all vegetarian and was delicious and I am a meat eater. We ordered kechidi which was very spicy even at mediumlevel, I recommend to do low spicy. I got a dosa plain and it was good.   Undoubtedly, my favourite restaurant in Lisbon. I have come here so many times that all the staff members know me by now. And I have lost count of the number of times I have ordered food from here during the pandemic. Puri Bhaji is to die for, and today I finally tried their Thali, which reminded me of home.   Amazing vegan food! Since we’ve turned vegan we’ve had trouble finding really good Indian food. We always used to have Cheese/garlic naan+ peshwari naan and (creamy) curries. Until today almost every restaurant that said that the meals could be made vegan was disappointing and the meals just weren’t as creamy and tasty. Tonight was different. The Mango Lassie as well as both Naans were both absolutely fantastic and the starter as well as both curries (paneer butter masala with tofu instead of cottage cheese, and Punjabi aloo were really delicious as well.   Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever eaten in. Beats anything I've had in London. This takes me back to the days of my great grand mother's cooking. Everything, and I mean everything, is homemade. You won't miss eating meat when you come here. Absolutely delicious chai. Parathas with a unique yet incredible smokey aroma. Curries that could have come straight out of my mum's kitchen. Paneer tikka cooked on the tandoor and bursting with flavour. Halwa and lassi that takes you to heaven. And friendly service to top it off. It's clear the husband and wife team are extremely passionate about providing the best home-made quality food, and they've absolutely nailed it.   We had been to this restaurant yesterday. The food was fantastic, authentic Indian. The owner Mr.Dharmesh and Mr.Hardik were very helpful as I eat Jain food and they made it for me which was very tasty.   Surti special khichdi: They are not serving fresh food for sure, I ordered Khichdi for my 2 year old kid , disappointed because they served stale food , as the daal used in the so called khichdi was old and smelling and the staff gave me explanation saying that it is the smell of ghee / other one said khichdi has Indian spices and hence I am getting that taste. chapati : It was better then other restraunts , the staff was kind to provide us chapati with jaggery and ghee for the kid , off course they charged us for the same. Staff was kind to not charge us for the stale khichdi. Paneer toofani : no capsicum in the curry , whereas it is mentioned in the description that they will put capsicum.Taste for Indian taste buds is just average.   I recently visited this restaurant with my family on a visit to Lisbon. The food tasted so good and felt like home cooked. The ambience is also great. Friendly staff. Pure vegetarian. We tried some chaat, channa poori and chapati with their special green curry. All of them were good. Even my son, who is a picky eater, finished his entire plate without any complaints.   For starters I went with the Mixed Pakora. then I had the Garlic Cheese Naan with the Makkai Patra as a main dish. Completely recommend it.   Just came back from Shree Ram and let me tell you, this is one of the best experiences with restaurants I ever had while traveling. For just €14,99 you can get the Thalia which is basically a menu including appetizer, drink, dessert and 3 dishes to mix with the bread. Adding with a rice dish that I 100% recommend combining with the white sauce for an amazing flavor. (I got the tip from the waiter😉) which takes me to the staff who is really friendly and helpful!   Excellent vegetarian Indian food, delicious and healthy with fresh ingredients. We are so grateful to find this Indian restaurant during our travels in Lisbon. We liked it so much. we ate here twice during our 2 week stay.   Our family had a great dinner at Shree Ram on our trip to Lisbon. The restaurant was a short bus ride out of the more touristed areas and was well worth it. Our family is vegan and the menu is clearly marked between Veg and Vegan. There was so much to choose from, we were very happy with the Garlic naan, lentils, chana masala and mushrooms and peas. I called and specifically asked if you have readymade samosas or handmade, the guy on the call confirmed it is handmade and fooled us by serving ready made ones. Would never recommend anyone.   Food was good but not amazing, restaurant is a nice place to sit. Reason for only three stars is because the waiter kept telling me what to have which was so weird. I asked for two naans he said have one, I asked for paneer butter masala he said get tikka masala! I had to be firm to finally get what I wanted, it ruined the dining experience. Also they appear to serve alcohol but named the restaurant after Lord Rama which some might find disrespectful.   Booked a table, had a wonderful expirence of nice gourmet Indian vegetarian delights. The food served hot which represented the diverse and vabriant taste with nice presentation. Good quantity and fab quality. Our host and server was Sunny which had suggested nice Paneer karahi my fav amd Aloo gobhi. The tarka raita had given a nice tarka in our dinner. I recommend to must try their special desseer Falooda Mumtaaz Mahal.. Must visit and give it a try.   Everything was too good. Taste was awesome. We enjoyed pani puri nd dahi puri after so long time. I felt that quantity of paneer angara was too small for 2 people. Anyways we enjoyed.   The only truly Indian food I have tasted in Portugal. I personally recommend each item to eat, but, specifically one should eat "Gamthi Rotlo". The flavor is really homemade Indian cuisine.   Super flavourful food with tons of vegan options. It's definitely one of my boyfriend's (who is not vegan) and mine favourite Indian restaurants in Lisbon. The take away is always super carefully packed and the naan is delicious. The only thing I would suggest would be to start to use paper packages to reduce the plastic.   We had a lovely dining experience here. There is An open kitchen, the staff is lovely and the rood amazing. We had the Paneer Tikka Masala and the Baigan Bartha. We loved it. We had some rice with it and Naan bread (best I ever had). It was more than enough for us. I do not understand the reviews saying the portions are too small because they are not!   Eating here was one of the highlights of our trip to Lisbon. We liked it so much that we ate here twice - lunch and dinner. Every dish we ordered were very flavorful and freshly prepared. Mr. Dharmesh, the owner is a commensurate gentleman constantly ensuring that his guests have no reason to complain. The best part? Everything is vegetarian (lacto vegetarian but no eggs used) and plenty of vegan options as well. I am still salivating thinking about the dishes I ate here - from appetizers to main course and finally desert. Pro tip: try the Gujarati “thali” - a degustation chef’s choice that is the perfect way to experience several dishes. 5 star all the way!!   It's one of the very few pure vegetarian places that serve authentic Indian food. Prices are economical and the host is extremely warm. This is close to Saldanha circle. I went there for lunch and they served me what was in the daily lunch menu and the aloo Gobi (indian dish with potatoes and cauliflower) tasted just like home.   I am generally very critical of Indians restaurants, especially the ones which represent indian food in foreign countries and I am glad to have visited Shree Ram restaurant. I am very satisfied with the quality of food (not too oily and spicy for indian food standard) and the variety of food on the menu. I would highly recommend a visit here.   This place was a pearl I found around a month ago. I'm trying to take on the vegetarian boat a lot more recently and this is a great vegetarian/vegan place, next to the city centre, with a beautiful Indian popular place vibe. It has a romantic low lighting that invites for great dates. The food was amazing. We had two dishes from the south Indian street food menu, which you have to eat the moment they arrive for the sake of crunchiness... not to miss 💕 and we had Paneer as well, with perfectly cooked rice. The garlic naan was lovely, and they serve it with a smokey and really salty aubergine tomato sauce, a herb yoghurt dip and a sweet and sour sauce all on a really cute side plate stand. Also the rose lassi was fabulous. Already gone there twice. Worth every cent, it was a lovely experience.   Shree Ram has been taken over' and the signs are excellent! First visit last Friday, under new management and now in the safe hands of Restaurateurs.
