  Small sushi place in Bairro Alto and easily one of the best restaurants in all of Lisbon! Super fresh, tasty sushi. Service was quick and all the staff is very nice and welcoming.   After reading so many great reviews here on google maps I decided to try it and I was not disappointed. I am a fan of nigiris and all of them have very good sushi rice and a big portion of fish. I will recommend the scallop nigiri and the salmon belly nigiri as they are very juicy. The staff is also very friendly. We had the sushi platter for 2 (pictured) and have to say it was some some of the best I've had in a while! Nice atmosphere, almost like a hidden secret down the smaller streets of the area.   Amazing food and staff where really nice. Had to walk up a big hill hut totally worth it. I recommend reserving a table in advance as it is very small with limited space around a capacity of 10.   Made a reservation for two and specifically requested to sit at the bar. When we showed up there was a party finishing up, after ten minutes they left and we thought we’d get a seat.   We were craving Japanese food and stumbled upon Cafe Dozo…. What a gem! We had an incredible meal starting with the spicy seaweed salad with crab, which was perfect for a hot day. I really liked this dish! The sashimi and sushi platter was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. I loved the mix of fancy rolls and simple sashimi. I would highly recommend Cafe Dozo to satisfy your sushi craving in Lisbon. We also found the price to very reasonable for the incredible quality of food.   I would like to give 10 stars, as 5 does not cover the fantastic food, service, atmosphere and the professionalism of the chef. We were lucky enough last week to get a table without reservation and had a fantastic dinner. The food was fresh and delicious, carefully selected and beautifully presented. A short and kind explanation to each course of the menu that we chose was a nice highlight to this exquisite gastronomic experience. The chef is a real artist indeed.   One of the best sushi experiences we've ever had! Staff is really friendly and helpful and choice of sushi and wine amazing, but what really sold us was the quality and taste of the sushi itself. The experience was textbook mastery, from the attentive and personal service, to the artistically assembled sushi. Small little spot - just opened in April - with delicious food and a really nice sushi chef/owner. The lunch special was great €12.50 for a full sushi/sashimi set with miso soup and salad.   Bumped into this place as we liked the setting for an unplanned sushi dinner and we were sooo impressed! The chef is the nicest person and he made the most delicious sushi plus the most delicious miso soup!! If you like sushi - you must try this place out!
