  As a solo traveller this spot really worked for me this past week. I usually don’t frequent the same place more than once - I made an exception this visit to Luz for a few reasons. The food was very good, prices are better than the beach front places, outdoor seating is usually available, service is very good and the food is very good. Had a chicken piri-piri pizza, pasta arrabbiata and chicken Jalfrezi curry - no complaints and happy I decided to give this place a try. Will definitely try it again next visit.   It may look like a pizza shed (shack) but the waiter was friendly and the food was very good quality. We had garlic pizza (bread) very thin and buttery.   I really recommend this place. Came on holiday for 10 days to Luz, first night we came here, the service was amazing and food even better! My mum is gluten free so doesn’t usually like pizza but this place changed her mind. Ended up getting pizza again from here off uber eats, very fast and easy, and then a final time (they recognised us by then) and we’ve tried everything from the cheesy garlic bread, most of the pizzas to the amazing carbonara.   We stayed just about a 5 minutes walk away from Pizza Real in our house by Praia de Luz. We were so thankful they offered vegan cheese. The family size pizza was a bit larger than we thought, but we are every bite! They were very nice and asked us when we arrived if we wanted any extra toppings while we waited for it to be freshly baked! I would definitely eat there again when back to Praia de Luz.   This place is great. Service is amazing and pizzas are delicious. We arrived to Luz late after delays and car hire issues and arrived here just before closing time. Despite the kitchen having been cleaned and the ovens off, Sumon the owner fired the ovens on and made us a pizza when he could easily have said service was over.   Once again we had fabulous food last night in Pizza Real. We only arrived from the airport at 10 o clock and were delighted to be able to get freshly cooked pizzas and some beers when most other restaurants in the village were closed.   My wife and I vacationed in Luz 4 years ago, to this date we still rave over the BEST lasagna we've ever had; we were there only a week, but ate dinner their several times, we had a great time chatting it up with the manager.   We go to da Luz every summer and make sure to stop by The Pizza Shack for the best pizza in the whole wide Luz. This year we tried the pasta and by god the spaghetti was only gorgeous.   We went there for the first time today. The owner was a really sweet and forthcoming guy. I really liked how he kept checking on his guests and making sure everything was okay. We had pizza, curry and the Thai salad. Be careful with the Thai salad, it's REALLY spicy. Better not order it, if you can't cope with spicy food haha The pizzas were really delicious.   When I came here I was greeted with nothing but friendliness and smiles. the pizza was amazing and I love the fact that you can get a family size pizza for $16. this amazing place also has beer on draft, fish, Indian curries, and pasta!!
