My partner and I arrived after his surfing session, hoping to grab a bite and a drink to celebrate my new job. However, upon asking about a place to store the surfboard and seating options, we were met with disdain. The staff member, laughing and with a condescending tone, mocked my partner about a supposed dress code and rushed us, despite being well aware of the closing time. The unpleasant interaction, coupled with the disdainful attitude, led us to promptly leave. With such unwelcoming treatment, dining at this establishment is out of the question. We were a party of 11 people and told them that we have to leave in 75 minutes to catch our flight, and they were very fast in arranging our tables and bringing us the food.   Walked in off the street for a quick lunch. It was a lovely calm, relaxed atmosphere, great food and reasonably priced. I had the seafood risotto and couldn't believe how packed it was with extremely fresh delicious seafood. The prawns were cooked perfectly and it was very reasonably priced. We will be back again. The staff were fantastic aswell. I was trying to order in Portuguese which I'm not great at, but they were patient, friendly and attentive. I also needed to access the baby changing facilities and the room was spotless and spacious.   Don't get me wrong the food, drinks and location are good, most of the staff is nice. But the Maitre D' is a sour woman who is most unfriendly and never smiles, she runs the place as if she's from the GDR, everyone is afraid of her. Went there for nearly a week cause everything else was fine but today she told us we can't play a game of UNO on the table with a child (!). We ordered drinks and food and we played UNO there for the last week. She blamed a Portuguese law against gambling, seriously UNO with a child is not gambling, as a manager you'resupposed to know the difference and make decisions. Don't go there, especially if you wanna have fun and have children with you or make sure she's not working. Not happy at all, never going there again.   I've been several times to this bar because the location is amazing but I've sadly noticed that recently (after the renovation I think) the staff has showed such an unkindness that I've never experienced anywhere else in Porto. Once I bought several beers to take away and I asked if I could use the toilet but they didn't allow me inside because I was wearing a beach dress (of course, this place is literally on the beach! And inside there are huge windows that face directly the beach, therefore clients are seeing tons of beach bodies all the time). Today my friend and I wanted to buy a bottle of water and a girl came to us speaking Portuguese in a very rude way, then when she saw that we couldn't understand she went to a waitress that was standing at the entrance and this lady came to told us that it was better if we went to another place, looking at us with quite a sniffy attitude. I don't know if it was because we were wearing beach clothes or what, but it's been really mortifying.   The setting is beautiful so in a way it's worth all the downsides. Pricey food, no water offered, long wait for service and long wait for food. Then another long wait for the check. I got chips and guacamole (not too much) and my husband had a salad (pretty small) and we both got the signature lemonade. Even under the umbrellas it was hot and the wait staff were overworked. If you have a lot of time to kill and feel like sitting a spell, plus want to find a toilet then don't hesitate to visit. But there are probably better options if you check around. Só há um “mas” neste local: venta muito e pode ficar muito frio, já que o vento no norte de Portugal é frio, claro.

  If you are American you will love this place. My family of 6 ate for 60 euro. All had drinks and the fish plates would have costed 20-25 dollars in the states. Awesome view and restaurant.
