  Estou muito habituado a jantares requintados, mas este estabelecimento superou as minhas expectativas. Desde o início você se sente cuidado no LAB como em nenhum outro lugar. Tanto o ambiente como o serviço são absolutamente de primeira qualidade e a comida é simplesmente arte, do cheiro à apresentação ao sabor, aqui nada é deixado ao acaso e tudo é perfeito. Grandes elogios à equipe e à ideia de todo o conceito. Definitivamente vale a pena uma visita. Obrigado pela experiência.

  Impressive culinary experience. They created a special vegetarian menu without soy or eggs due to allergies, and the food was still spectacular!   One of the best meals I ever had. We were at the Chef's table which is situated in front of the kitchen as guests arrive. Some of the highlights that I can remember: the spinach/shrimp salad, the chicken wings (!), beef carpaccio, french fries, lobster risotto, and the apple tart. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.   Fantastic experience. It is not just the food quality. The experience, presentation and service are much better than other Michelin 2 or 3 stars restaurants we had before. We are glad that my wife and I have our celebration in here. Thanks for the chef and all staffs involved - we truly believe they shall deserve a higher Michelin star. The variety of items served are more than what they stated in the menu (maybe they shall mention that in their website/menu) - e.g. lots of Portuguese and Spanish tapas served in advance We would like to come back again in future and highly recommend LAB by Sergi Arola to people who would like to celebrate with their special one.   O menu de degustação é delicioso e apresenta o melhor de várias regiões da culinária portuguesa. Todos os ambientes são muito agradáveis com vista para o campo de golfe. A equipe é muito eficiente e super amável. Recomendo. Dez!

  I'm pretty sure the atmosphere is the only reason this place didn't get more stars! Imho, it's a good if not better than diverxo. The food was better, I think, and service was way better. Maybe the show aspect was better at diver but not by much, and I'd rather the better food personally!   This is the second time we have come here. The first time was fantastic. The most recent time last week we enjoyed one of the nicest meals we have ever had at any restaurant. We loved the tapas starter and had the big tasting menu with the wines. I know Michelin stars are subjective, but to me this restaurant should have more than 1 star.   The best experience! We came here to celebrate my mom’s birthday and everyone here was so attentive and made the evening so memorable. The unique way the food was presented made it even better. It is a very small spot, and only 4 other parties were seated around us, making the experience feel very intimate and we were well taken care of. This restaurant deserves its 2nd star!   Perfect, perfect, perfect! My wife, 10 year old daughter and I had dinner here. We all opted for the larger menu - 17 courses if I counted correctly. Each “moment” was delicious and highly inventive. Service was astonishingly attentive, generous and kind. Wine pairings were surprising and brilliant (all Portuguese).   Experiência louca!! Altamente recomendado para quem procura uma experiência além do restaurante. Numa refeição que dura quase 4 horas, você recebe muito mais pratos do que pede. Primeiro você vai para um espaço separado com tapas em frente ao chef que as prepara e depois vai para uma refeição de degustação no próprio restaurante. Sabores especiais, criativos e deliciosos.   Bold, delicious food served with an intense sense of place. Staff that clearly love to share the joy of their food culture and creations. All in an idyllic setting. Worth flying for. Menus are seasonal, and we chose the maritime tasting menu. The dishes feature locally harvested (and foraged) ingredients in brilliantly executed combinations of sour, savory, sweet and even bitter flavors that accentuate key ingredients without overpowering them. Expert combinations of colors and textures add to the experience visually, while many dishes have a story that ties directly into the land or the sea within walking distance (or a short drive) of the resort. To add to the experience, stay on the property or at least arrive early and walk some of the trails cut into the property to see where some of the ingredients are found before your meal. Don't miss the pairing. Portuguese wine is its own universe and this is one of the best ways you could be introduced to it. Unless you've lived in Portugal a long time, expect quite a few new flavors, new grapes and new pairings -- even for a Michelin star regular. Some pairings feel like long-perfected classics while others are well-calculated risks that, at least for me, created unique combinations of flavors that I'm still thinking about.
