  Too expensive for what you get. The wagyu tacos were nice, but the tatar was nothing special and just two bites to finish. We were really disappointed by the mains. We visited twice on a 7 day holiday and they were so good with my daughter! To the point of making attention for her when she was playing up a while(she's 2!). Then let's talk about the food. Yes, it's expensive but it classes what u call expensive? £15 for a badly cooked steak or £30 for a brilliantly cooked steak with knowledge about wine and sides. Both my wife and I had steaks as mains and they were cooked exactly as we asked. Cocktails are excellent as well.   I went with my family of five and we had our expectations quite high as we saw the “real” reviews on it , we arrived and sat down and everything was going well , service very attentive and we got our drinks in a very timely manner , the staff were very kind and welcoming but then things started to go downhill , I ordered plain fries with peppered sauce , while the rest of my family ordered stakes , it arrived relatively quick , when my fries were set down in a metal container I puck it up about a minute after it was sat down and the container was piping hot ! I didn’t really care but then I tasted the chips , they were quite dry and the peppered sauce had tasted bitter and watered down , my family also thought this , my fathers stake was extremely dry and burnt and zero flavour whatsoever ! And my family aren’t picky eaters , my younger siblings meals arrived , the size of their stakes were so small , the same size as my mum and dads …I wouldn’t even feed it to a baby , their stakes were also burnt and …horrible , and the price was insane , it was the most expensive meal we got in Portugal ! Even though it was minimal portions , the food was HORRIBLE and I feel like the atmosphere was quite odd but the staff and the actual building was great but the major letdown was the food . Unless they severely up their game and re price so it doesn’t put you in debt !   A little over-priced by local standards. We had an average meal. My steak was overcooked and the pepper sauce was a little bland (whole peppercorns are more effective). The saving grace was the desert, - carpaccio of pineapple with ginger, mint and coconut icecream. The restaurant was also plain, just an empty room with tables and chairs with no decoration.   Visited with my wife and 3 children, arrived at 6.30pm children's food came out within the hour, younger staff very helpful and attentive. However the older staff very extremely rude and had the sense they hate they English, Portuguese tourist that arrived long after us were served straight away we had a 2 year old, 5 and 10 year old with us. However this did not make a difference to food coming out on time . We eventually waited 2 hours for our mains to come out once my wife questioned staff on the bill saying we was not happy to pay in full, the staff became very aggressive and threatened police!!! Which left myself and my wife no choice but to pay and as staff was very arrgressive was such an unpleasant experience has put us off visiting Portugal again.   The food was very nice and the staff were incredibly friendly, but I’m not sure what exactly is going on in the kitchen however it needs sorting out urgently. We were a part of 5 plus a baby and it took an hour for our orders to arrive. To make matters worse, a couple who arrived much later after us were served before us. We only ordered mains (4 steaks and 1 chicken) plus some sides (fries, onion rings, Mac and cheese). Nothing about that was complex our time consuming for a competent chef and his team. Someone really dropped the ball and it created a very unpleasant evening for us. I will not be back and I will not be recommending, which is a shame because the food is good but the delay was inexcusable.   The most delicious and favorite dinner of our trip to the Algarve! The grilled octopus was perfectly cooked and accompanied by sweet potato purée. The wagyu beef tacos made us miss California. The shell was crisp and the beef with the sauce was a great combination. And, the ribeye was bursting with flavor. The steak was perfectly cooked and as we ordered medium rare.   Arrived early but staff gave us a friendly welcome .Got the menus to look at while we had drinks. Lots to choose from on the menu. My husband had chops and my daughter and I had sirloin steak cooked to our preference.For dessert my daughter had the dessert with Brownies and I had the Creme Brûlée which I might add was the best dessert I have ever had!.The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.We dined there on Wednesday the29 th of June. Toilets also very clean.Will be returning to this restaurant next time we go away to Portugal.Excellent staff , food, and service.   5 stars for the Wagyu Tacos, alone. I’ve been on the Algarve for nearly 10 days, and I have eaten in many restaurants. Those tacos were absolutely amazing, and right up there with the best things I have eaten, during my holiday! I can see why Manzo, and those tacos, are so popular! Highly recommend.   We were a group of 4 adults & 3 kids .As the saying goes, you get what you pay for & it was delicious. We had a mix of steaks, from Fillet & sirloin. Kids had burgers which they devoured & It was perfection to the way the meal was cooked and presented. Yes like most restaurants be prepared to wait when busy but it’s definitely worth the wait. Advise to book in advance. It is more expensive than other restaurants but we visited here 3 times during our 10 day stay. Staff very polite & welcoming and the red & white sangria were to die for.   Absolutely the best tasting steak of our lives (and we spent 5 weeks in Japan in 2019 eating Hida beef in Takayama). Dry-aged Rubio Galega beef from Galacia, Spain. Industry considers this to possibly be the best beef in the world. 15+ year old bulls and cows. They cook it on Josper charcoal grills. Can’t imagine a more flavorful ribeye steak. Only 10euro per 100 grams.   Decided after looking at the reviews to eat here last night, 4/5/22. Sadly we never got to the eating bit. I guess they were short staffed, as we were left at the table for around 20 minutes, after which I finally caught a waiters eye and asked for the drinks menu. Upon recieving that and waiting another indefinite amount of time, we decided to leave. Everything about this restaurant looked pleasing to me, however, the service was not as I would expect from such an establishment. We went to the restaurant opposite.   The worst place I've ever been. The steak was sticky you can chew it like a gum, plastic steak. But this is not the bed part. After we cancel the order for the steak the manager of the restaurant called the police and said that we didn't want to pay for all the meal what was totally not true.   We found this restaurant just by chance, and obviously we did a celebratory dance. Not a place for vegetarians even at a glance, a night here will get you in a food trance. The carpaccio is a must, and the empanada has an exceptional crust, for main go for the steak, I would just say trust!   Had dinner on Thursday 10 October with my wife and 2 friends. The food was excellent as was the service. All our steaks were cooked to perfection. The only complaint was the lady from Liverpool who complained that her Medium Rare Fillet steak was undercooked and didn’t have blood coming out of it when she cut into it. A slight contradiction. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to know that a well hung steak, when cooked and rested properly doesn’t have blood coming out of it, even if undercooked.   Had dinner here last night. Lovely place with excellent staff who are very friendly and welcoming. For Starters we had prawns and rib nuggets. For mains we both had sirloin steak and we shared a desert and a bottle of wine for a total of €110, it’s probably the most expensive place in this area.   We were out celebrating a special night as a family n Food was good however. Menu plays tourist game wen ordering steak stating in small letters “& select sauce & side dish (not included)” so u r actually paying allá carte for sauce & or side dish. Pls Manzo I’m an adult n get it. However our son is young n learning how to order as an adult n is not experienced enough to understand Manzo’s is trying to run up the bill. My son asked the waiter if his side “came with the steak” to which the waiter responded “if u ask for it then it will come with ur steak”....I knew my son was played by the waiter n let it slide to serve as a life teaching moment (which I explained to him after paying the bill) The $s don’t bother me just the fact that the waiter was taking advantage of a young man. I approached the waiter after paying n upon leaving where of course he nervously stuttered n tried to rationalize his response knowing he was in the wrong. Manzo got a few $E’s for a side dish tonite but i hope this review cost them 4 families n a few E100’s in the near future.   Went here as the reviews looked ok. I can honestly say its, for many reasons, the worst restaurant experience I've ever experienced. Firstly, the food was horrendous. Burgers dry, steak over-marbled (Sirloin with T-Bone like marbling) and the kids steak is the smallest thing I've seen seen. The kids tiny steak comes with 2 tomatoes completely soaked in salt. See the picture. The mash potato had full sized potatoes in there, no mashing! We asked for bread, they charge you extra for butter, balsamic vinegar and olive oil! We tried to let our server know the food was not good and they stood their shouting and arguing with us! None of the staff seemed to care a less to be quite honest. The only positive is my bottle of 25EUR Savignion Blanc which was nice. The restaurant charged us full price and took nothing off the final bill. They didn't apologise and were not interested in improving our experience. As a seasoned diner, and Google Local Guide, I'm quite aware what constitutes a good restaurant ...   The service was excellent (some of the best while in Portugal), the restaurant itself was modern & spotlessly clean and the food was good. The octopus started was delicious and I could have eaten two. The popcorn chicken was OK but a bit too similar to a Chinese style sweet and sour sauce. The sharing steak was cooked well and the quality of meat was good. It's not the cheapest but I would say fair as quality is good. Only downside was the wine. Probably not worth the price compared to others we had on holiday but the decanting was a lovely touch. Would return.   Lovely staff. Long wait without explanation. Great tasting food. Fillet steak is tiny to the point of perhaps needing 2! ;) We asked our hotel to book outside the allocated online slots and got a table for 9pm on the basis of fab google reviews. Lovely house wine (we just wanted a glass each) but ended up drinking another while we waited. Noone seemed aware how long we d been there and then suddenly a flurry of waiters arrived, offering to top up a 3rd glass for free apologetically (we declined but would have been nice to have the 2nd glasses on the house instead). The food when it came 50+ mins later was lovely, other than the fillet being laughably tiny for my 15 stone husband, easily fitting in a side 'sauce' dish. If this is a frequently such a small cut, then should be flagged at the time of ordering. It was also rare, despite selecting from images 1-5 of his cooking preference - medium. Disregarding all that, the other food did taste amazing especially the rib eye, mash, truffle chips and creamed spinach, bill came to 90€ excl service. We come to the algarve a lot, also do a spot of london fine-dining, so we had high hopes for such a place on our holiday doorstep. Desconsiderando tudo isso, a outra comida tinha um sabor incrível, especialmente o olho de lombo, purê, chips de trufas e creme de espinafre, a conta chegou a 90 € sem serviço. Viemos muito ao Algarve, também fazemos bons restaurantes em Londres, por isso tínhamos grandes esperanças de um lugar assim à nossa porta de férias.   My first steak in my life. I went there with my boyfriend and we loved every single piece. Probably that's why the place is very busy as well but the staff can still control it very nicely.   My wife and I don’t eat often but when we do I wish it was always this good! We are already planning a return trip to the Algarve bolstered by our exquisite dinner here at Manzo’s. We enjoyed the waiter’s wine recommendation and had the rib-eye and fillet steak, both cooked to perfection, accompanied by mushrooms and chips. We even shared a delicious baked Alaska (see photo) with espressos to finish. The final bill was -€90 but we both felt it was justified and well earned. Service was excellent in a fantastically contemporary restaurant and for a side note enjoy the ladies loo!   Great place to find steak and reasonably priced. Cocktail menu was also varied. Nice decor and staff very attentive. They also do a tapas menu which is great for kids as it includes mini burgers.   Still have some work to do. We came after comparing this to another steakhouse in Quinta do lago. We did a booking through internet. It was quite a hot day and we got seats at the terrace. Staff was overall friendly but they seemed bit lost on who is doing what and running around. Orders were taken and everything went well after minor mistakes with water. Maybe it was the heat but 40min wait after order seemed quite long. We had really good rose so it eased out the wait. We checked this wine that cost 33e in Vivino and avg price was 12e. Usually restaurants put 100% on top but here it was bit more expensive. We received food and unfortunatelly meat was overcooked. We ordered medium and it was more welldone. Staff did everything right by asking if we want to return the steak, but as it was 38c heat we didn't really want to spend more time in heat. Besides meat was ok anyways. Other dish was lamb rack which was quite nice. I have been to many steakhouses and concept if fairly simple. Nice clean restaurant that serves good quality meat cooked just right. Add friendly staff and you have the perfect combo. But if you offer 5 different choices on how meat is done, you shouldn't make mistakes like this. Verificamos este vinho que custava 33 e em Vivino e o preço médio era 12 e. Normalmente os restaurantes colocam 100% no topo, mas aqui era um pouco mais caro. Recebemos comida e infelizmente a carne estava cozida demais. Pedimos médio e foi mais bem passado. A equipe fez tudo certo perguntando se queríamos devolver o bife, mas como estava 38 ° C de calor, não queríamos passar mais tempo no calor. Além da carne estar ok de qualquer maneira. Outro prato foi costela de cordeiro que foi muito bom. Já estive em muitas churrascarias e o conceito é bastante simples. Restaurante limpo e agradável que serve carne de boa qualidade cozida na medida certa. Adicione uma equipe simpática e você terá a combinação perfeita. Mas se você oferecer 5 opções diferentes de como a carne é preparada, não deverá cometer erros como esse. O restaurante usa churrasqueiras Josper, que devem ser ainda mais fáceis de controlar a temperatura de cozimento do que a churrasqueira aberta.

  Excellent steakhouse in Albufeira. Very friendly and attentive staff, great quality food, and good choice of drinks (there's a bar in the restaurant). Can definitely recommend the chicken fillet starter and fillet steak as mains. Prices are slightly higher than in other places in town, however, the quality and overall experience make up for it.   Friendly staff and good food! Prices are maybe a bit high but quality and portion size make up for it. We came in with a (reasonably well-behaved) toddler and they were very accommodating.   It started so well, very polite staff, pouring our wine and generally being very attentive, then it went downhill rapidly. Appalling experience, they brought out our main courses, before we had even been served the starters. It was taken back saying it must be for someone else, but we we're the only table at the time for 5 people. Half an or more later, the same meal was re-served to us, they couldn't even be bothered to give us fresh hot sauces for the steaks. They refunded the cost of 2 mains that were sent back, but we still ended up paying in the region of €250.   Visited this restaurant twice on our holiday and the food served is out of this world! Service is fantastic and restaurant decor is very modern. My partner had a T-bone steak that was a good size and delicious, my Mum not being a red meat eater had the chicken cesar salad that was really fresh and tasty, on the first visit and we convinced her to try a fillet steak on the second visit which she really enjoyed! Staff are friendly and not 'over attentive', leaving you to enjoy your meal, but available if you need them. Please visit this restaurant for a great experience!
