  Without doubt one of our favourite restaurants. All of the staff are warm, welcoming, friendly and professional. Even at the busiest times of the year you never feel rushed. It is full, no matter what time of year it is. Food is excellent, wine is good, decor is lovely. Absolutely worth a visit. Booking in advance recommended, but in the summer you can't pre-book, but even if you have to wait a while, do, it's worth your time.   The food was great, steak was tender and cocked to perfection. The food is presented nicely, with quite large portions. The service was quick with nice waiters, so nothing to complain about there. The atmosphere is nice. The restaurant is located on the first floor off the building, where you sit in this cozy area. I would definitely recommend trying Tasca 26 if you're in the area.   Fantastic place! One of the waiters was hilarious, and they're all friendly and engaging! Got the angus 3-beef platter - the filet was the best, then the ribeye (mine was over cooked- zero pink, even though I ordered the platter medium rare), and the flat pounded steak medallions were tender enough that we had them with eggs for breakfast and it was still great! Love how they let you choose 3 sides with it (we ordered 1 rice and 2 veggies to be healthier) and everything was flavorful and NOT extra salty. Absolutely worth the ~55 euro price. The sangria was excellent - got the rose (vs white or red), and some in my party thought it was too sweet, like candy, but I LOVED it! (We went to a recommended seafood restaurant the night prior and it was all overly salted. Had many bottle of water there and STILL everyone was thirsty when we got home - very disappointing) BRAVO to Tasca 26, we will be back! (Traduzido pelo Google) Lugar fantástico!   Fantastic!! From the ambience, to the staff, the food and the wine our visit was amazing. So much so we rebooked for a few days later! We had the fried squid algarvian style and the garlic shrimp, both full of flavour and delicious. The meat board consisting of beef fillet, veal, pork and chorizo was cooked to perfection and the meat so tender. A must visit if you are in the area!! Place is small so if you arrive expect to have to wait a little for a seat (worth the wait). If I ever visit that area again I'd definitely try my best to go again.   The Portuguese meat board was absolutely amazing as well as the best apple pie I’ve had in my entire life (both pictured below).   One of the best entry's I ever ate the garlic bread is amazing with the scrambled eggs and "alheira". The black Angus board was filled with delicious meat that I truly recommend. The dessert was also very tasteful and fresh ( cheesecake). The ambient is nice and the staff is very friendly. The only downside is the waiting time to eat and a bit expensive but it's worth it.   This place is amazing!! My boyfriend ordered the fillet steak and he said it was the best steak he had ever had (trust me all this boy eats is steak). I ordered the chicken in mushroom sauce and the chicken was perfectly cooked , however I would have liked a little bit less sauce.   Very popular place, but for a reason:) Should definitely make a reservation! The place was kind of in a middle of nowhere but the restaurant itself was looking good. Service was friendly and nice, the food was also great. I ordered chicken with mushroom sauce (it came with a green salad, vegetables and fries) which was very tasty, also the portions are quite large. Overall a great place and worth a visit!   After visiting this restaurant, we understood why so many people liked it and were recommending it. The staff there are all very funny and kind, they made much more enjoyable time for us there. The restaurant was very clean and taken care of, it was very nice and cozy. Everything was delicious be it a fish or a meat. The food looked very beautiful as it was decorated with care.   Understandable why this has an average of 4.8 stars. Impeccable service; steaks cooked to perfection; very good cocktails (Long Island and an aperol spritz-generous with measures and made with care). We had a ribeye and a fillet steak and a kids chicken nuggets. The steaks came with seasonal veg which were really well seasoned. Hand cut chips too. My 18 month old son was cared for really well. We managed to get a table without a booking but it is very busy and popular so booking is advised. The manager also came at the end of the meal which I think he does for everyone and checks everything was ok-a lovely touch. Cost came under 100€ for 2 steaks, a starter, a kids meal, a dessert, 2 cocktails and 2 pints of beer. All round just a wonderful evening here, will definitely be back!   We heard so much about this place and how amazing it was, being a very busy restaurant we had to book, we got a table for the next night, everything was ok, staff are so lovely, but when I got my food (burger) it was uncooked so I told the waiter and he brought it back to the kitchen and they did me another, again it was still uncooked but more cooked than the first one, plus my husband asked for a well done steak, it was cooked medium rare, but he ate it anyways. I was so disappointed as I have heard only good things about it, but it has completely put me off from going back.   This restaurant was hyped up to be the best locally but sadly it did not live up to expectations - it is very small and cramped, there are no views at all, the food was extremely salty and was not as described on the menu. The service was top notch but that’s the only nice thing I have to say. Over priced for disappointing food and no atmosphere at all. You do have to book to eat here, but only because it has a maximum of 10-12 tables at a squeeze.   WOW. Book a reservation early on your trip and don't miss out. I'm not exaggerating to consider this the best restaurant in the area at any price but when you factor in a 3 course meal with drinks at euro30 per person (steak), then I say again wow. We went very early at opening without reservation and we managed to find a table inside with the promise to leave by 8. Better to make reservations. The service was first class.   Quite the place for a little town like this. The meat is great and very generous in their servings. I have been a few times and they seem to cook the meat to their liking rather than what was requested. Only by a small degree and so it is not too bad. The house red is good and well priced in my opinion. I always order it. The wait staff are good for the area, probably quite geared up to tourists. Their sense of humour is certainly in line with that. All nice and happy. The fact that I have been back numerous times on consecutive trips says that I like it enough. Everything in the platter is delicious abs the portion is large and we ended up taking away some leftovers. The staff are so helpful and attentive.   Best place in town if you are looking for good meat, good ambience and excellent service. We arrived a little late and without reservation yet we had one of the best dinners of our holidays.   This is one of the best meals we’ve had in a very long time!!! We love eating out and trying different places but this is one we could do over and over just to try everything. We started with the squid and splurged on the aged tomahawk steak and they did not disappoint!!! We also ordered the red sangria and it was the most delicious I’ve ever had. We had to order another 1/2 L!! We don’t normally order dessert but was so impressed with everything put in front of us we just had to. The Tasca 26 was described as a tiramisu but more like a pudding in consistency but waaaay better. The other was like a lava cake with Nutella topping. Everything was amazing!!! Must eat here. Começamos com a lula e ostentamos o bife tomahawk envelhecido e eles não decepcionaram! Pedimos também a sangria vermelha e foi a mais deliciosa que já comi. Tivemos que pedir mais 1/2 L! Normalmente não pedimos sobremesa, mas ficamos tão impressionados com tudo o que foi colocado à nossa frente que simplesmente precisávamos. A Tasca 26 foi descrita como um tiramisu, mas mais parecida com um pudim na consistência, mas muuuito melhor. O outro era como um bolo de lava com cobertura de Nutella. Tudo foi incrível!!! Deve comer aqui.

  I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The food is delicious, fresh, well presented. I have been here more than once and everything I tried was absolutely excellent. Some of my all time favourites: stir fried squids, clams and above all the veggie burger: the best one I have ever had by far. I don't eat meat but their meat menu looks incredible, so vegetarians will be missing out but honestly the veggie menu is just as good (less choice but equally amazing). Desserts are also really yummy, we had chocolate mousse and a local almond tart - both were delicious. The service is always very attentive, kind, polite. The place feels very cozy, clean and safe.   We dined here a few days ago on the last day of our holiday. Wish we had found it earlier as the service was very good and friendly. The food was excellent. In one section of the menu was a steak sharing category, so we tried one of those. Wow it was really good, and there was a big platter of various cuts. They were all cooked perfectly, and very tasty. The price of our platter was 48 euros, so good value we thought. We would recommend this restaurant, and maybe reserve a table as we did not and nearly didn`t get a table.   After having a few meals in the Algarve that were average at best despite good reviews we decided to give this place a go. Great choice as the food was excellent and the staff were awesome especially with our two young children. Not too pricey either, I would suggest booking as we only managed to get a table as we arrived quite early and there were a string of people waiting to go in when we left. All in all a really enjoyable night.
