  Been here many times. Been to both. One with the beach and one with the swimming pool. Won't go to the swimming pool again only because of the increasing loud music from lunch onwards.   Omg this is place is absolutely amazing. The food is fantastic, we are 3 and came here for the salads at lunch time and unreal. Came back for the dinner and the 3 of us were again blown away by the fantastic food and service.. by far one of the nicest restaurants we have eaten in. Would have drunk and eaten more than we did if we didn't have to flag down people or run around asking people to serve us. This was on a 50euro opium bed!   To be honest, i m not sure i have seen such underwhelming service… no one shows you whereE you can sit, just the hostess telling you where NOT TO SIT. 20’ to get the menu. Another 10-15 to get the drinks. My order was mixed twice. The lady was genuinely surprised i wanted some soft drinks without alcohol (there is no even a section on the menu with softs (except smoothies)). Based on the price of the sunbeds, i guess the beach club wants to benchmark the ones in south of France. But i m sorry, the level of the service, the location, the view, the food can’t even compete with them… very disappointed. We arrived to attempt a walk-in space as there were multiple empty seats (which remained empty as we went to a bar round the corner and an hour and a half later, they were STILL empty) we were told that there wasn't any availability, which was fine but the woman on the front desk took an instant disliking to us and refused to answer when it MAY be quieter, could we pre book. She spoke to us like absolute dirt, the girls sniggered behind the desk looking us up and down. Felt like a poorly run chav-fest with mean girls on check in.   The place is gorgeous and service was on top! However I do think they need to be WAY more clear on the website that there is no access to the pool if you reserve for the beach. The areal shots and pictures show it as one big beach club which is not the case.   This place purely relies on location. The location is great and the vibe is sufficient. The staff on the other hand are rude and useless. The staff look to be on average 16 years old and desperately need supervision. They care more about gossiping with each other than serving customers. We counted 9 staff members around the bar talking while we waited over 30mins for a beer after putting our order in. I went up to the bar to ask how my order was going and got rudely told to sit down, as we supposedly had “table service”. We eventually walked out after not receiving our order for 45mins. It took 2 orders of a beer and half an hour for us to walk out of the restaurant because it hadn’t arrived despite 6 waitresses standing around the bar chatting. You aren’t actually able to order at the bar, however the waitresses seem to avoid taking your order or straight up forgetting what you have requested.   Nice location by the beach. Had the bao, hot roll and chocolate lava cake. The tempura boa was tasty. The hot roll I thought meant was spicy but it means that it was hot temperature wise because it included a fried outside. I liked it but it can get sweet so would recommend getting a range to share.   Gorgeous beach club with music playing the whole time. There was also a DJ from 16hrs playing. Beach beds were affordable for a beach club and had excellent services, we didn’t have to wait long for drinks to be brought to the bed. The lunch was delicious. We enjoyed our time so much we’re going to the pool part now. Make sure to reserve your beds especially ahead of weekends as the beds can be fully booked.   My 3 year old daughter, wife and I went on a Wednesday to stay at the Pool area of the Beach Club. There are two pools, one of which is knee deep and perfect for small children. My kid had a blast. It was a calm day, especially around lunch. Not many people around. Music in the background was fitting and relaxing. The service was great, I saw lots of waiters running around and it was no problem to get their attention to order something. Also a call out to the nice woman at the welcome desk. Initially, we wanted a day bed but they were all booked out so we stayed at two sofas and a table (12.50 Euro per person charge). After a little while that nice woman from the welcome desk came back to us to offer a day bed that had become available in the meantime at no extra cost. I found that very attentive. Food-wise, I think it was fine. I had the Steak Burger, which was good. My wife had the Tacos and Bao Baos, which were also alright. One of the Tacos had a hair in it, and it was no problem at all, after talking to the waiter, to get some new Tacos. Would come back with my family and can recommend to other families with smaller kids.   We had drinks and food for over 40€ and asked to sit at the daybeds. Until service came and until they understood what we wanted it firstly took too much time. When they got to us they told us that out of the 6+ free beds at sunset hour 7-8pm (= almost no guests) we couldn’t sit there because they only provide guests with daybeds if they have an order minimum of 40€. After hinting that we are over it already with the restaurant bill being 60€ he told us „we cannot sit everyone there“. Food was ok nothing special and overpriced, music was very old tech house music from 90s,00s. Location and ambiance by the beach was nice if they’d had better service I’d come again..   Travelled all the way from Lagos to enjoy the pool and the beautiful scenery, although when I got there, I was told that the pool/sun beds are now closed. I spent over 20 euros for a taxi and I didn’t even receive an apology. I called twice in the morning to confirm that the pool would be open, on both occasions they said yes! The lady I spoke to on the phone should of mentioned if it rains, the facilities would be closed. It was only a little bit of a rain and in Portimao, it stops raining after 2.30PM. The staff seem nice although the reality of it is, my time has been wasted travelling from Lagos all the way to Portimao. The staff was nice enough to let us have a table in the restaurant, although that’s not what we came for. Very disappointed and we are only here until Tuesday. Update: Eventually was able to use the outside facilities. Was more of an enjoyable day after the initial disappointment. Only feedback additionally I would give, is that the team need to be more proactive. The team was nice although I had to ask for pillows for the bed I paid for, this should just be an expectation. It also felt that due to the windy weather, that the team didn’t want to accommodate at times the beach club services. A beach club should have an upbeat energy and I didn’t feel that excited happy feeling you usually have at a beach party.   I don't usually leave reviews like this but I feel like I needed to! This place is beautiful, the beach, the pool, the concept. The sushis are great but the service is 0! And we are not people with high standards! The woman at the front is not welcoming and warm at all! Not sure what she is doing here. Looks like the staff in general don't want to be there. We waited 45min for our meal after ordering, the restaurant wasnt even full (Monday night in May) and the waiter wasn't very polite and professional at all! (Example : he spoke over his headset while we were ordering, didn't say bye, didn't have a sense of service, spilled some drinks on my partner, forgot to bring sauces etc).   place is great, got the bed with sea view but unfortunately me and my girlfriend eat some sushi salmon rolls and we both got FOOD POISINING for almost a week and totally ruined our holidays, wish I had reviewed the 1 star commenra as apparently the food poisijgn issues are quite frequent in the last 3 months! even all you can eat sushi wont gice as much cases as this place! avoid the food here!   There's a lot of hype and fuss about this place because of its location, atmosphere and I guess a place to be seen. I came in and was greeted by a young lady who was also a waitress. I said I would like to come and have a drink. She said there's only seating for people wanting to eat food (which I was planning on doing so after looking at the menu). The restaurant was dead being out of season but maybe they have been told to say the same thing regardless of whether it's busy or not. I ended up asking for a food menu so I could at least have my beer. I was delivered a just less than warm beer (the ocean I swam in was colder) by a cold and heartless waitress with no willingness to engage or even smile. I can understand that when the restaurant is busy, they want to turn tables and make sure that tables are spending money. But the whole experience was a huge anti climax. I drank not so cold beer, regrettably paid 4 euro and left with a sense of relief as the few staff standing around doing nothing were looking at me wondering if I was going to place an order for food. My recommendation is take your money somewhere else. There are better locations with a nice sunset view. I was alone and wanted a pool lounger for one person but they said I had to pay for two(it was a windy Sunday pool was practically empty) LOL Ended up going to the beach portion where one lounger(not bed) is €15 beach towel NOT included. Also waited a long time as well when we asked for our bill. Visit this place if you want to enjoy the beach and their cabanas but I don’t recommend dining in their restaurant.   Unfortunately there was a festival and surprisingly this restaurant decided to introduce a menu solely for English taste (sandwiches for dinner for example). Also, even knowing you are in Portugal, there were no menus in Portuguese only in English, simply unacceptable and shameful! In addition, they decided to have absolutely zero Vegan options. The service was also not great, staff is not polite or care for detail. We ended up leaving without ordering anything as it was simply a very very poor experience. Really ridiculous in all honesty, the menu was a joke and the prices were simply ridiculous (£25 for a vegetarian salad or £150 for a monet). The location and decoration is the only good thing really.   Sadly didn’t even get the chance to spend any time at the club. The lady at the door was very blunt in telling me and my partner that there was no space for us. Despite the club being pretty dead. Long story short, the beds for the pool and beach were all reserved, however there was no attempt to accommodate us by offering us a table at the bar/restaurant area. I found the club rather pretentious, I’m not the type of regular clientele they are probably use to which is probably why I was cut off quick by the greeting host. I would have given it 5 stars for the review had they not tried to nickle and dime me for 5 euros because I asked for the 3rd towel for the 3 people in the reservation. Reserved and paid for a Opium bed in the vip area for the day for 3 people and they only provided us with 2 towels. What kind of logic is that???!!! When I asked them for a 3rd towel, they told me ONLY 2 towels are included even though my reservation specifically stated for 3 guests! Don't mind spending money but I have a HUGE problem when establishments like this one try to nickle and dime me for something as silly as providing correct # of towels for the corrected # of guests. I hope management will read this review so that they can prevent this from happening in the future and earn the 5 stars rating they should have received.   This restaurant is really beautifully designed, is right on the beachfront and has a beach club vibe, with a live DJ. We enjoyed an early dinner there. I had a selection of dishes, the best being the dragon sushi. I also enjoyed the bao buns but the fried calamari was slightly overcooked. Unfortunately, there were very limited veggie options and my husband didn't like the quinoa burger and said the patty was quite squidgy. He left half of it. Those dishes, plus a cocktail each, came to €67. I'd go back but probably just for the sushi and photo opportunities!   I expected this place to be touristy, kitsche, and serve low quality food, but it exceeded my expectations entirely. The Lon do Mar seafood dish was one of the most incredible dishes I’ve had in Portugal, and must have contained half a kilogram of fresh seafood (including a rare green lipped mussel), atop a bed of delicious fresh vegetables, all for only €18.90. The salmon tartare starter was also unbelievable - mixed with green apple and bursting with flavour. Others complained about the prices but for the location and top quality chef dishes, I actually thought it was really reasonable. You certainly couldn’t get this sort of food for these prices in london!   Great location, excellent food and relaxed atmosphere (restaurant was mostly empty). Our waiter was friendly and tentative. However the whole experience was let down massively by the other staff members. Given we were a group of 17 ordering a considerable amount of food and drinks (i.e. spending a lot!) a rude staff member came over and said if the children want to check the pool water temperature they will charge us. Not a problem as we had intended to use the pool and stay the whole day but the rude staff made us feel unwelcome so we moved to the beach area instead.   On first visit for dinner, service was amazing and vibe was really good. This led us to book a beach cabana the following day, the service at the beach during the day was amazing which led us to then book again for dinner the same evening. On arrival for dinner, staff seemed uninterested and exhausted. Service was almost non existent unless we waved for attention. Such a shame as it would of been a five star review if not for this bad experience. Would we come back? Only if we didn’t have access to our own pool I think. Would we go for dinner again?   It’s hard to rate this place as there are so many aspects to it. The poolside area (saltwater pool) is busy...reservations necessary. No cash or cards change hands inside...it’s all booked on to a card with a unique code and the balance paid on exit. It’s like a daytime club...music all day. Couch side service. Sushi is lovely. Good choice of food and drink. Extensive menu only available on your phone which I found hard to navigate and then when I’d order the server needed the item code so I had to search the menu again....it’s a popular place.   Discovered this place by accident because the beach club was closing and the waitress recommended us the pool one. Wonderful place and excellent drinks at first. Went back the next day to be amazed by the food. And finally almost every single day to enjoy those beach mattresses, the delicious food, and friendly service.   Visited NoSoloÁque two days in a row. First time we booked the normal pool beds, the second day we reserved the VIP deck. Overall a great experience! You can park nearby for € 2.50 and a 5 min walk. The food and drinks are awesome, we had lunch and dinner. The staff are friendly and speak really good English. As expected the service on the VIP deck is better, you’ll get a bottle of cold water and they regularly ask if you’re alright. If you are there you should really try their sushi, it’s soooo good! To improve the service at the pool, I’d recommend to try an order app, so people can order their drinks and food on the app. It’s so must faster and efficient 🙃.   Great location, we've visited this place every time we've been here (almost every year) and it became more of a letdown over the last years, unfortunately. Beach: the food is ok, not great (especially for this price), expensive drinks but the worst is the service. Pretentious towards rude. No smile, not even looking at you while taking your order and just walking away without closing words. Aspects that are not that difficult to do, but is like this for many years already. A very few are friendly but the others make you feel like you are lucky to be worthy of getting a second of attention. Service last time was at least fast. I've read someone saying it must have been because they were Portuguese, nope they treat all people like that 🤣 Conclusion: go there to enjoy the nice surroundings and music and an ok meal and don't expect to be treated friendly. Restaurant at pool: some courses we ordered were nice (salmon, tuna tartar), others were OKish or not good (rubbery squid, dry/dense brownie). Service here is better than at the pool. There were two very drunk ladies next to us of which one was exposing herself at some point. Overall not as classy as they present themselves.   Good place for a day at the pool! Currently (2018), it costs about 12.5 EUR per person (adults and children) to rent a lounger by the pool for the day. You can go in and out of the venue as much as you want. The pool area itself is just ok. The kiddie pool looks a bit run down while the water in the adult pool wasn't as clear as I would have liked. The food and drinks are overpriced, which in a way is a good thing, since the place was almost empty and as such, quite enjoying and relaxing.   I was disappointed on our return today. After visiting this place on a yearly basis, (obviously excluding lockdown) and rating it highly. We were met by a pretentious girl who looked us over before guiding us to a table, after being asked 'are you eating or not?' We wanted to sit near the edge of the bar leading onto the beach and was abruptly told no. Hoping to plot up there all day long, as my aunt is riddled with arthritis and has mobility problems. This instantly put our backs up. The girl in question had obviously judged us on our arrival and decided we weren't suitable to visit NoSoloAgua. When we enquired how we could sit nearer or on the beach, she called over her ?senior/colleague who explained we had to pay for the sun beds most of which were reserved. If the girl in question had been more accomodating and explained that in a pleasant manner from the start. But after feeling judged and being rudely spoke to we moved on to a different place. This experience left me feeling sad, as this place is a favourite of ours and my mums...who passed a couple of years ago. This has left a bad taste in our mouths.
