  Good food and had a lovely young helpful waiter. However… on sitting down initially kept being asked too quickly by another waiter for ordering. Then - would give a warning to anyone wanting to use their toilets that the door can be dangerous. It is heavy glass and swings back on itself so caught my hand in with the wall. Heard from someone at the next table that this had happened to their friend in the days before also. When mentioned to staff they did not seem surprised.   I ordered a Ceasar salad and a pizza which you would think is a pretty safe bet in an Italian restaurant. What I got is a mix of arugula and spinach covered with 3 tons of chicken and bacon. Not at all a Ceasar salad. The pizza was a paper thin crumbly crust (not at all a pizza dough) covered by a ton of cheese. I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in my life and this is not far from the worst I ever had. If you are looking for an Italian restaurant do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.   Not a big fan of pizza but I was out voted by my friends 😅. Turned out to be a lovely meal for us all. We had mozzarella sticks for starters and I had a BBQ Chicken pizza which was excellent. The staff were very warm and friendly. At the time we went the only access was down a few stairs at the back of the restaurant. Not easy if your not to good on your feet.   I wanted a pizza. I walked to the marina to explore. I saw P*zza H*t but I wanted a real pizza. I saw Capricccio and the menu looked good. Diabolo pepperoni. My favourite. The base was perfect. Nice and thin and well done to perfection on the edges. The toppings were fresh and tasty. Excellent pizza. Dessert? No thanks, I'm full. Hang on...Tiramisu? OK I cant resist that. Was this the best tiramisu I've ever had? I don't know but I cannot remember ever eating a better one. Same thing goes for the pizza. I could eat here all week!   We were in this restaurant on 12th of May 2019 for lunch, we have ordered 2 dishes of pasta, and in one of them we found two hairs. To be honest their pasta are nothing to see with a real Italian food. As you can guess, we are not recommending this restaurant. We are portugueses and we are really desappointed on finding this kind of restaurant on our Marina.   Stopped here for lunch today. The staff weren't very bothered about serving, miserable faces. Wrong drinks arrived and had to ask twice for hot milk. Food arrived but we're given no condiments or cutlery, had to go to counter. My Sisters prawn sandwich contained 8 prawns, I know I counted them. Considering where this place is, I think the service is non-existent and the staff need a kick up the backside in how to deal with their customers. Try smiling at least. Never again!   I think they sell ice cream but not sure as just sat outside for the last 15 minutes waiting to be served. Despite attracting the waiters attention and asking for the menu we were totally ignored. Left with a wave thanking them for serving us...NOT. Happened in 2017 as well so my recommendation is to stick to the Portuguese and ignore the Italians like they did with us. What a sour faced lot.   Food was okay, nothing to be impressed. Be aware: they charge 7€ for a bottle of sparkling water, we live in Zurich and are used to high prices but this is a bit insane. Also they are advertising risotto everywhere, although they don't serve it anymore. The coffee is pretty good and so is the ice cream!   Polite service without a smile - possibly the unhappiest waiter in Vilamoura, though always saying thank you he never cracked a smile once. The service was otherwise very good with drinks coming quickly followed by our mains. The food was okay (Pizza Portuguesa, Algarva Pizza and cheese and ham omelette) and the desserts (banana split and Algarve Sundae) fantastic. I found the pizza topping tasty but the base was damp and sloppy. The pizzas are full size and could be easily shared perhaps with a salad. Meal for three with one round of non alcoholic drinks and three desserts came to 72 euros. Probably worth half that.
