  This is a typical case of don't judge a book by its cover. We wouldn't have eaten here if it weren't for the extremely positive google reviews and we were not disappointed. We both had the chicken bifana and enjoyed the taste. The portions are more than adequate for the price, which also holds true for the fries. The woman serving us spoke perfect english, the orders were ready pretty quickly. Only 4* for atmoshpere, as it is, after all, on a parking lot. They solved the sitting problem pretty well with little stools and the food is handed out on small trays which makes it infinetly easier to eat.   I am typically reluctant to fast foods to the benefit of something more complete but am happy I make this exception. The bifanas we got suggested were delicious and with good balance of veggies and chicken meat. The bread part felt very fresh and unlike the plastic-varnished-looking ones on fast foods. The atmosphere was joyful with a polyglot ex-trucker providing the service. They just had one downside: were not open again on another day leaving us at the mercy of the competition (?) a few meters away.   This may sound ridiculous, but this was truly one of our three most favorite food stops in the two and a half weeks we were on Sao Miguel. The food is full of flavor, and prepared with care, and the owners are very sweet and playfully friendly. We left sincerely happy with our food and the experience.   This place is amazing! The Bifana, both the pork and the chicken totally blew our minds. Great bread, delicious sauce, filling, and full of flavour. This was one of my favourite meals from our whole vacation. Be sure to get there early enough in the day because they do sell out.   Was going through Sete Cidades to visit the lakes and do your typical touristy sight seeing and happened to spot this food truck near one of the main view points. I was craving a burger so had to have a stop by. Upon meeting the owner I was informed that the Bifana was what I should really try. As someone who loves trying new food I happily agreed ( and ordered a double bacon cheese burger as well with it and decided to just split each with my brother.) While we waited for our food the owner, his wife and daughter were incredibly friendly and explained their origins. He and his wife met very close to where we live in the states. The whole family were incredibly personable and the food was made fresh as we waited. The Bifana was amazing and VERY worth deviating from my initial burger only plan. Amazing taste and fresh ingredients led to a great new discovery for me. The bacon cheese burger was not your standard burger it almost had a barbecue-esq taste which was very welcomed. Both were incredibly filling as they were massive and equally delicious. Overall 5 stars across the board. From presentation to taste to portions to price and lastly to the lovely people working there. One of my favorite dining experiences in my week long stay in the Azores.   Nicely located food truck selling drinks (both soft and alcoholic) along with hot and cold food. After a hike up I opted for the vegan no-chicken burger and has to be one of the best vegan burgers I have ever had, I was shocked at the quality for a food truck.   We were desperately looking for something to eat in the Sete-Cidades area. Luckily, Google came to the rescue and when we arrived and I saw the truck, I knew it was it. I have a soft spot for food trucks, I'll admit, but objectively speaking, the kids devoured their Bifanas :) and the burgers were great too. Not according to plan, we ended up eating on the stools and not in the car, even though it was pretty cold, because the vibe around the place was so awesome. Really shows that everything there is done with love. To wrap things up, we even got a small explanation about the abandoned hotel nearby. To conclude, I end up leaving yet another unoriginal 5-stars for this place. Definitely coming back next time in Sao-Miguel.   This is without a doubt one of the best meals I have had in Sao Miguel. The Bifana is incredible, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to try some typical portuguese food. The service is amazing and they are both very kind and welcoming.   This was the perfect place for a quick lunch after exploring Miradouro da Vista do Rei and Hotel Monte Palace. Lovely people, great conversation and really good food. If you’re looking for a local and family owned place, look no further. The owner is very kind and speaks 5 languages perfectly. Definitely recommend!   Visited the food truck on our hike at Cete Cidades. Amazing food, and even better service. The meal was very inexpensive for how much we got, and the espresso after was the perfect touch.   Honestly this place is a must! We have been so happy that we stopped! The most amazing food, good quality, tasting delicious, great deal for a very good portion size. But as many special places is not the food only… the most friendly service on earth! We had our little girl with us, we have been given chairs to seat and food delivered to our car! We found out about hotel and the view and talked a little bit about life. And this make it very special. In the world when everyone just do quick transactions- there is this place, when you can rest, eat amazing food and talk to the most friendly people.
