(Original) All the food we had today was delicious and everyone else's dishes looked amazing too. Lovely friendly atmosphere and a wonderful host in a warm and welcoming space. Great outdoor seating to watch the world go by. Tasty and plentiful food, and a varied menu served in a comfortable and relaxed setting with proficient service.

Não estávamos em Alvor, por isso tivemos que viajar, caso contrário teríamos ido com mais frequência. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e sempre nos sentimos bem-vindos. (Original) Discovered the Olive Garden this trip and it was so good that we went three times for lunch. They do a great lunch deal and the quality and quantity of the food is first class. We weren’t staying in Alvor so had to travel otherwise we’d have been more often. Staff are very friendly and we were always made to feel welcome.

Apesar da proprietária estar sozinha durante uma mudança de turno - ela fez um enorme esforço para nos acomodar, o que foi extremamente apreciado. Os goujons caseiros foram fantásticos, assim como o camarão com alho. Lugar muito agradável para tomar uma bebida/refeição com funcionários simpáticos (Original) The staff in the Olive Garden make this place what it is. We arrived somewhat out of hours with our child looking for a place to relax. Despite the owner being on her own during a shift change - she made a huge effort to accommodate us which was massively appreciated. The homemade goujons were fantastic, so was the garlic shrimp. Really nice place to have a drink/meal with friendly staff

(Original) First visit last night after arriving in Alvor for the first time. Staff were really good - happy, polite and attentive. They also have humour, which was a nice touch. Menu is varied and there is something for everyone. Reasonably priced too. Quality of food is great - I had the Hawaiian burger. It tasted nice, was presented week and it was not greasy at all. Loved it. Indoors is not serviced by air con so when it's warm, sit outside overlooking the street before, if you can. Well worth a visit - do it!

Os chips também são lindos. No entanto, comemos um prato de peixe, filé de dourada, que saiu empanado e cheio de espinhas. Um pouco decepcionado com isso, pois não é anunciado como à milanesa. Posso ver que o menu de almoço e as tapas estão recebendo ótimas críticas, então talvez esse seja o caminho a percorrer. Se você estiver saindo para comer um prato de peixe, tente outro lugar, pois será mais fresco, mas pratos de carne são bons. (Original) This was our second visit and having sampled several restaurants around Alvor, I would class this as ok. I cannot fault the pepperpot chicken dish which is beautiful. The chips are beautiful as well. However, we had a fish dish, fillet of seabream, which came out as breaded and full of bones. A bit disappointed with this as it's not advertised as breaded. I can see the lunch menu and tapas are getting rave reviews so maybe this would be the way to go. If you are going out for a fish dish then maybe try elsewhere as it will be fresher but meat dishes are fine.

Booked in advance, and glad we did due to the people turning up, cosy atmosphere with the option of outdoor eating. Total cost for 4 alcoholic drinks, 2 starters and 2 mains was around 60 euros, and well worth every cent. Highly recommend eating here.

Menu fixo por 12,50€, muitas possibilidades de escolha no menu, comida de boa qualidade, mais um copo de cerveja, vinho etc. Incluído e chá ou café. Belo ambiente tranquilo, funcionários muito simpáticos e prestativos. Imperdível se estiver hospedado ou de passagem por Alvor. (Original) Had a fantastic lunch at the Olive Garden. Set Menu for €12.50, plenty of choice on the menu, good quality food, plus a glass of beer, wine etc Included and tea or coffee. Beautiful quiet setting, staff very friendly and helpful. A must if staying or passing through Alvor.

Éramos uma mesa de três pessoas e pedimos no menu da hora do almoço por 12 euros - foi um valor excelente? comemos pão e azeitonas, um prato principal cada (havia 8 opções, todas deliciosas), tudo servido com batatas fritas de arroz e salada. Isto foi seguido por um delicioso café. Estamos aqui por mais 5 dias e espero voltar pelo menos duas vezes 😀 (Original) AMAZING! super lunch here today with lovely service- you have to visit! The food is really tasty and plentiful. We're were a table of three and ordered from the lunchtime menu for 12 euro- it was excellent value 👌 we had bread and olives, a main dish each (there was 8 choices all delicious) all served with rice chips and salad. This was followed by a delicious coffee. We are here for another 5 days and I hope to come back at least twice 😀

O lugar é tão bonito e a comida é incrível também os funcionários são muito simpáticos e Angelo cuidou de nós muito bem. Eu recomendo fortemente este lugar e mal posso esperar para visitá-lo na próxima semana no meu dia de folga? (Original) After so many amazing recommendations I received from customers visiting my bar I had to try Olive Garden and I was not disappointed. The place is so beautiful and the food is amazing also the staff are so Friendly and Angelo looked after us so well. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to visit next week on my day off 😊

Recebemos calorosas boas-vindas e informações sobre onde ir em Alvor pelo simpático proprietário irlandês do restaurante, que até nos ofereceu uma refeição apesar de não termos dinheiro... Voltamos antes do final da semana, onde tivemos uma fabulosa refeição de 2 pratos, vinho, whisky irlandês e porto de cortesia, tudo servido pelo super garçom Igor. Em suma, uma excelente experiência e recomendamos vivamente o 'The Olive Garden' a quem visita Alvor. (Original) This lovely bar /restaurant was the first place we stopped by on the day of our arrival. We were given a warm welcome and information about where to go in Alvor by the restaurant's friendly Irish owner, who even offered us a meal despite us having no cash on us... We returned before the end of our week where we had a fabulous 2 course meal, wine, Irish whisky and complimentary port, all served by the super waiter Igor. All in all, an excellent experience and we would highly recommend 'The Olive Garden' to anyone visiting Alvor.

Grande espírito de equipa entre os funcionários e uma excelente varanda exterior para aproveitar o sol e jantar ao ar livre. Recomendo o Olive Garden (Original) Fantastic new restaurant with everything from top class steaks to the freshest fish menu. We had a lunch for 38 people and not a single complaint. Mais uma vez, Liam e sua equipe foram gentis o suficiente, mas regularmente se esqueciam de voltar com o menu do deserto e esqueciam nossas bebidas, mesmo quando o lugar não estava tão ocupado. Comemos aqui algumas vezes por causa dos cubos de batata com alho! Eu recomendo comprá-los como acompanhamento se alguém decidir experimentar o restaurante. No geral, boa comida e pessoas legais, mas o serviço de mesa poderia ter sido melhor. (Original) Great food and the owner Liam is pleasant enough to talk to but I'm only giving this restaurant four stars because the service wasn't the best. Again both Liam and his staff were nice enough but they regularly forgot to come back with the desert menu and forgot our drinks even when the place wasn't that busy. We had a meal a couple of times here due to the garlic potato cubes! I do recommend getting these as a side if anyone decides to try the restaurant out. Overall great food and nice people but table service could have been better.

Obrigado novamente e espero vê-lo novamente. (Original) We had a very good dining experience at this fantastic restaurant. Everything from the staff to the food was of a good standard and quality. You can choose to sit inside or on their fabulous terrace. Don't pass it because of where it is located. It is as good if not better than a lot of the restaurants on the main street.
