  Horrible service, servers take ages to attend despite several requests to do so. Brought our main dishes 10 minutes apart, when my wife started eating after finally delivering my order, hers was already cold. For dessert my wife picked the simple crepe but I asked to wait and bring the chart to chose a crepe myself. However, they ignore the request, brought her crepe straight away, delivered and turned around before even letting me ask my crepe order. As an extra plus, chipped my tooth on a piece of bacon with a chunk of cartilage. Pointing it out to the waiter he just shrugged and turned around, without a single word of apology. Can't complain about the great ambience and great decoration though. Food was ok, but above average prices for cheap quality food. Still, I don't recommend, not coming back.   First time I went to the Gato a few weeks ago. I was expecting to have lunch, and it was almost 12 AM, but I was told that kitchen is closed, and there is no options to have lunch earlier. It’s usual in Portugal that kitchen opens at the exact time. But this time firstly I did an order, the waiter excepted it and in a few minutes told that I have wait for half an hour. I was upset. On that visit I didn’t try anything. Today was second try, and I tried brownie and cake. It was tasty, nice tea Mixed berries & Hibiscus - definitely recommend to try!   Decent Service & good serving sizws - however the "Kinder Waffel" is fake and false products are used. The one chocolate used on the waffles are from Continente known as " Barrinhas de Chocolate de Leite " from Cartoon Network...see image attached For the price of this waffle one would of thought we were getting the real products. The soup was delicious. I didn't like mayonnaise in my sandwich but I forgot to inform them. My partner likes the baguette and finished 1.5 portions! I asked for a glass of hot water and they charged me €.80 for it! My partner had a large cup of coffee for €1.30. The lunch was okay. Nothing exceptional..
