  Been a huge fan for years and been so so many times but the past year of four separate visits have been disappointing. Getting worse each time. It’s not bad but it’s just not good anymore. Steak is always overcooked. There are so many good restaurants now in the area their star is dimming fast. Reception staff do need some training up, other staff were very pleasant.   The place is perfect for a romantic dine in. The ambiance makes it a perfect place to have a great time.   We ordered two starters and a main course to share. We were warned that if we ordered just one main course, we would have to pay an additional fee of 7.5€. It doesn't make any sense, in my opinion. The two starters took the place of one of the main courses and the idea was to try a bit of everything and share as a couple The food and service are excellent. But it doesn't justify the additional fee we were charged. At the end, we paid around 100€.   I was having a nice evening, food was good, service inconsistent as several different people looking after you but hard to get their attention when you actually want something. The night was ruined when the card machines wouldn't accept either of my cards, I was left to be humiliated in the restaurant with people staring at me, I showed money was in my account but everything they charged my card they was refunding it, I was not the only person this happened too another table had to pay cash but I didn't have cash. After 30 mins of being mistreated I was finally sent a link to pay online, I ordered my uber using same card and worked no problem. When I showed this to the manager I was told its not their fault despite the card working fine for uber and every other venue I had visited during the holiday. I would not recommend this venue given their lack of interest in service and not humiliating guests with their fault devices. Still demanded service charge too despite the ordeal.   Loved the food here and the service was very good but the one problem was the number of flies. It's a beautiful open air restaurant so everyone should expect some issue with that but while many tables had candles burning to ward them off, ours didn't. I knocked one star off the service because every table absolutely needs that and it should have been in place just after we were seated.   Not a good experience as it used to be in the previous years. We had to stick to the fixed menu since we were a group of 15+ people but the service/kitchen still struggled to get all the dishes ready and were very messy and confused about the side dishes and deserts. For the fixed menu we chose grilled mixed of meat for everyone and only half of the meat of each mixed was worth the value, the other half was grilled chicken and low quality meat - definitely a very low value for money for the paying costumer. Probably this was the last year that our group went to dinner out at Parrilla Natural, a summer holidays tradition that sadly reached its lowest overall experience this time and will be replaced by other options in the future.   We were lucky enough to dine at Parrilla on more than one occasion. The setting is absolutely stunning. It's probably the nicest restaurant I've ever been to. Very relaxed, and the attention to detail is unmatched. Great choice of starters and pure heaven if you like your steak. Deserts aren't too bad either! Cheesecake is to die for and definitely reccomend having a few cocktails in the bar afterwards. The staff were brilliant, from the moment your are met at reception they go beyond to make sure you have the best night. Can't wait to go back in 2024.   Beautiful place and from the moment we got there to the moment we left we were made to feel very welcomed. The staff were so attentive and they could not have done anymore for us. We were a party of 6 who all bar 1 of us had the steaks, ribeye 300g x 2, fillet steak, sirloin steak and 1 Ribeye Steak 200g. Steaks were cooked to perfection along with all the side dishes and starters. The one thing that would prevent me from going back is that I feel that we were mis sold reason being is the bill (which we had worked out in our heads because of the prices listed on the menu) came to £326.00 then with all the taxes which are charged ontop of the advertised pricing on the menu meant our bill then totalled £496.00 which which was a huge difference!   The atmosphere is amazing, and so is the service, food - not bad, but not exactly 5 star. The beef enchiladas were 👌👌 however the main courses weren’t. And the price is hefty, charged €16 for bread for 4 people, and also charged for condiments. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to come back. Another thing I didn’t like was that our waitress gave us an extra large bottle of water that we didn’t order and that was an extra €4.50. The bill came to €200+ and we weren’t very satisfied. However during our last visits the 2nd sitting time is 9.45, there are not as many full tables and we felt it lacks the buzz and atmosphere that you usually get there. They should also bring back the old band!   Absolute scam. The menu has nothing authentic, totally geared towards UK clientele and the food is just plain average. Super overpriced and def not worth it.   Parrilla. You exceeded our vision for our daughters wedding 2 weeks ago……... The venue looked a dream but our biggest thanks has to go to Grazy and her staff. The food was stunning and so plentiful served with such expertise. Grazy was beyond accommodating with all our ever changing requests and made the day beyond all our expectations. The staff were just fantastic and attentive and the bar was manned so capably and nobody was left waiting. This place is top notch for a wedding venue and our firm favourite for dinner.   5 stars for a beautiful setting. 4 stars for the food. 3 stars for the service. If you want picturesque surroundings while you dine you won’t find better than Parilla Natural. The atmosphere, ambiance & lighting are second to none. The food was good, we shared the Chateaubriand. It was cooked well and tasted great however was not a big as I expected and was packed out with vegetables. The service is average, we had a table booked before we even arrived in Portugal. We were made to wait 25-30mins before even being seated. Unless you are you a regular or celebrity don’t expect preferential treatment.   What a disaster. Went there for valentine dinner. Fix menu for 62 euros. 3 courses. This place used to be very good and great reputation. So I had the lamb medium rare and my wife had the fillet steak medium. So this place Is famous for its meat! So my came well done. And my walife as well.... So we asked again, take 2, mine was OK cooked, my wife was now rare, but so rare was still cold in middle... So take 3. Was OK. But the fillet steak just kept being tough and stringy. My lamb had mintsauce... But no taste of mint whatsoever, so that I mentioned. Reply it was a jus infused with mint, OK.... But don't taste mint. We said the fillet steak or in Portuguese bife se lombo. was very tough and stringy, not what you expect of the most tender part of the cow! And not just us but 3 other people send back because not cooked right. And lady kept insisting that it was best cut of the cow... The condiments were very good though! Excellent. So after this the waiter went to fill the water up on the other table with our water. In all.... Not recommended at all.... If you pretend to be high end grill restaurant at least you need to be able to cook the right poison and for this money serve a decent steak.....   This was the worst dinner experience in years. Started by receiving a table at the entrance of the terrace when the reservation was specifically made for a table much further down the terrace. Despite out complaints the staff was unable to solve the problem. Worst problem is a bee problem. As soon as the meat arrived the table more than a dozen bees gathered around the food and it made it simply impossible to eat. The few bits of meat I was able to taste were absolute average not noteworthy. Staff was again unable to solve the problem and dinner was ruined. Full price was paid to our disbelief.   A beautiful setting with lots of outdoor space. Top notch wine selections, beers admittedly lacking but thats kind of the case all over the algarve. Good variation of starters - calamri was excellent. Mains are dominated by the variety of steak but was cooked well and tasted great. Cant really speak on anything on the memu aside from steak as its all I have had on my many visits, but I imagine other options (some seafood, chicken, burger) is just as good.   I’ve never had a bad meal here. The staff are lovely, although, sadly the hostess with braces was rather snooty when we first arrived, but everyone else more than made up for that. The food is delicious and the vibe is second to none. I don’t eat meat but there was still a great selection for me to choose from. The surrounding of plants and nature really creates a lovely atmosphere. This is also the perfect restaurant for families, because they have a huge (and very safe) area for kids that includes a cinema, ice cream stand and a play fort.   Disappointing experience. We booked for their sister restaurant, Gourmet Natural, and upon turning up there by taxi discovered that it was closed for the season. We had been forwarded to Parilla Natural when phoning and they didn’t think to inform us of the alternative location. On finally arriving at the correct venue, we gently informed them of the need to check with clients that they were aware of the actual restaurant they were booking, only to be met with a fairly condescending attitude and certainly no apology. We were shown to a lovely table in a pretty outdoor setting - lovely lighting all around once the sun set, and great atmosphere. Unfortunately that is where the only positive aspect to our visit ended. The food was abysmal, the drinks awful (the margarita I had tasted like seawater), the service slow and the prices punchy.   I feel a bit cheap just giving 3 stars to a place like this. The setting is wonderful and the food is great. But, the service on our visit left a bit to be desired. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived and whilst sitting in the lounge area, two orders of drinks arrived which were not ours. When the drinks did arrive, there were 6 for a table of 4. The food, like the drinks is fab. My tempura prawns were outstanding but the bap with my burger was too much. That said, you should not be put off a visit, the quality is very good but there are few things around the edges that do let them down. Given the quality of alternative restaurants in the immediate vicinity, it's 3 stars only.   Our favourite high-end restaurant in the area. Brilliant food (particularly steaks), delightful service in a beautiful environment. At peak times (July-Sept) they have two dinner sittings at 7pm and 9.30pm and amazingly the 7pm one still feels like a proper night out given how buzzing the restaurant is even then. Probably not somewhere to go every night (€75 a head, with relatively little alcohol) unless you’re an alchemist, but a great option for the special night out of your holiday.   We visited for a joint birthday celebration and we were most welcomed by the members of staff. We had a 10 month old boy with us and he was entertained throughout the evening by our waiter Miguel. Food and drinks were of the highest quality, and we was amazed by the desserts as well. Also was pleased to see just how much care and attention goes into making the guests happy.   This place has more fame than it really deserves. It all started by trying to make a reservation which was quite difficult to get. We finally arrived at 7pm. Our dinner came 90 minutes later. Besides the awful wait the quality of the food wasn't anything to praise for. Meat was chewier than normal. For the table beside us was even worse, it was cold and they left pretty upset. Even though the waiter was nice and it wasn't his fault I would not recommend this place for a try. Is simply not worth it. After complaining I had the wonderful discounts of a glass of wine and appetizers free of charge but the main damage of the experience being there was done and would certainly not experience it again.   A really good setting with excellent food. The staff are kind and always happy to help. A great place to bring kids as well with a simple but still tasty kids menu and a play area where they can get their face painted, play or watch movie for a bit. However, the one reason I do not like it is that it is very English. As I have been coming to Portugal for 23 years I would rather have something more portuguese and authentic.   Best steak I've had in Faro. We arrived on a busy Thursday night without any booking, but our group was accommodated. No starters were needed but we enjoyed some drinks and bread before our meal (the olive tapenade is delicious). Our steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned, the side servings were generous and the wait staff were attentive and helpful. Making this place a regular on our trips to Faro.   Incredible dining excellence. It's in the middle of nowhere but well worth the trip. Superb kids facilities including cinema and popcorn making as well as face painting.   Eaten here quite a few times and had to downgrade my rating from the previous experience. Whilst the food is great and is great for families with young children as has a kids zone; the service needs to be improved. We sat for 20 mins before ordering drinks, then another 20 mins to order food. The drinks never came even though asked multiple times and by the time the food came we still never had any drinks. Furthermore the food was not cooked to order. The maitre d' was very apologetic and gave us a drink on the house. The waiters struggled with tables and we were brought multiple plates and drinks that were meant for other tables. In summary, fantastic food but service needs to be improved.   Food and ambience excellent however service ruined what could have been an excellent experience. Couvert not even finished when mains arrived whilst wine and water had not yet been served. Wine arrived 5 mins after mains however the wrong wine. Asked did we want another bottle of water after 15 mins when I pointed out we hadn't got our first bottle. Had to ask for wine refills and eventually asked to leave the bottle on the table. Service resulted in a very poor experience.
