  The service and restaurant environment is good. The seafood pasta is slightly above average. We ordered steak and really disappointed on it as it was cold in some areas of the steak.   We went to visit Cabo da Roca and on the way back decided to stop for dinner at 3 Gomes. We ordered the cod dish, tuna steak, bread/olives appetizer and 2 house wines. The tuna steak was the best! It was perfectly done at medium level. The cod fish was fresh and grilled to perfection. It was a delightful evening. Thank you!   Lovely staff who allowed us to sit eventhough they weren't open yet. Really beautiful dining room, a gorgeous place to sit on a rainy day. The mushroom risotto was really good. The mussels were really fresh and the sauce was gorgeous but the portion of fries was quite small. The lamb chops were well cooked, very basic side salad and the same fries as the mussels.   We were disappointed with this restaurant unfortunately ! The ambience is fine, the food on the other hand… We ordered roasted chorizo as an appetizer, the texture and taste was not good, I personally couldn’t finish it. Then we ordered sirloin steak and codfish. As soon as as the steak arrived the smell was bad, I believe it came from the cooked vegetables underneath. The steak was cold and not pleasant overall.   Last week I was on holidays in the area with a friend and 3 Gomes was recommended by a few people so we popped down on our first night. It was such a lovely place that we ended up eating there 6 out of 7 nights! The food is exceptional especially the seafood (my favourite was the salmon with lime risotto) but its the staff that really make it such a lovely space to be in.   Really nice restaurant. The staff was super kind. I even asked for some fries next to my octopus (yes, I know this is a disgrace), the waiter joked and said he wouldn't do it. But I got the fries next to my plate of octopus, and they didn't even charge it. The food was great. One of the best grilled octopus I ever had. Super tender. Deserts were really nice too.   Located in a small village in between Sintra and Cabo da Roca, this cosy restaurant offered just what we needed for our stop. We ordered the Greek Salad, the Grilled Chicken and the Fillet Steak (Medium-to-order). The quality and taste of the food was great, and the service was very friendly and timely. We went for very late lunch after stopping at Sintra and we didn’t have to wait for a table. Overall a great dining experience and good quality food!   I don't post a lot of reviews, but this was such an unexpected delight that I had to. We had the grilled salmon with line risotto and the octopus a lagareiro with a couple of glasses of rosé. Both were prepared to perfection and delicious. Probably the best salmon and octopus we have ever had!   Went here with 2 friends and ordered the 3GOMES burger, vegetarian pesto pasta, and sardines. The sardines were fabulous but the pasta and burger were just ok. Both were slightly bland in my opinion, but the portion was good. The burger costed 11.90euros including fries.   Very unprofessional waiter! We wanted to sit in and instead of getting a menu or anything thats normal in this case didn't happen. Waiter came to the table we sat at and shouted whether my name was WHOU ( i think some chinese name ) and when i said no he just waved with his hands to leave the table because it was reserved , altough there was no reservation sign placed on the table and he was extremly rude for no reason. I never experience such a disgusting treatment from a service member before and it was unacceptable. He technically kicked us out from the restaurant for no reason.   I was visiting cabo da roca one evening in march when (thanks to google maps being 10min off to the bus schedule) I missed the last bus literally from the end of the world. I was stuck, alone, at night. Luckily czech campers where there and drove me to the nearest bus stop. So I had only a short time until the next bus but I didn't know where and when it's coming. I walked 40km on that day and I was very hungry. So asked at the local restaurants and they helped me out. I ordered something quick to eat at 3 gomes as a take away. They were really fast and explained to me where the bus is. I had enough time to eat my meal at the bus stop. I was amazed by the way the meal was cooked well in the short time and how well decorated the cutlery and napkin were, bound in a ribbon. I still have kept the ribbon to this day and like to thank the staff for their help in a very difficult situation. I reached Lisbon that night safe and sound. The salmon I ordered was really delicious, while the dish my wife ordered (açorda de camarão) needed pepper and wasn't as good when compared to other places we have been to. The white sangria was yum and after a romantic evening with my wife, the Tarte de Lima ..was light, not too sweet and ended the night well.   First time in Lisbon and chanced upon 3Gomes on our way to Cabo da Roca, this restaurant is an absolute gem. The clams, grilled octopus, shrimp moqueca and 3Gomes desert were so delicious that nothing was left behind. Definitely will visit again when I’m back in Lisbon.   We found this restaurant by luck as the intended restaurant next door would not take us without a reservation even though it was filled with 3 people. Very strange! Regardless, 3 Gomes had a table for us and everything was perfect! The service was impeccable, the food was a delight and the ambience was very comfortable. Ordered a bottle of the Verde wine which was delicious and very fairly priced. The mushroom starter along with the clams in garlic with wine was fabulous. The main was a whole white fish which was grilled and cooked perfectly which accompanied boiled potatoes. We finished the meal with a biscoff pie of sort and was good enough to come back for just that! Great staff and even had the time during their hectic table service to practice some much needed Portuguese pronunciation.   I don't know where they are getting their reviews. Very bad food, ordered the fried cod fish, the fish wash still frozen and the middle of it was undercooked. My wife ordered the octopus, the potatoes were rotten (see the pictures). We were the only customers there for lunch and still took them 30min to get our order. When they asked how was the food, I mentioned the cod fish problem, they took it back and brought it back again the same way (they didn't change anything), they just took it inside and brought it back!   I was really excited to try it here and it looked really nice when we went inside. We ordered the clams to start and when they arrived they were far too salty, I usually love this dish, but it was inedible. We told the waiter it was far too salty and we couldn't eat it. When the mains came the vegetables were also over salted, we told the waiter and they told us they had some new staff in the kitchen. However when the bill came, they did not remove the two items we couldn't eat due to the salt. It was far too expensive considering two of the dishes were inedible. I think it would've been nice to see at least some form of customer service, but they didn't even make an effort. Also the side of chips that came with the steak was so so small, I think there were maybe 15 chips.   We stopped here on our way back from Cabo da Roca. The location is really nice and the place itself not bad. We tried Risotto with prawns and it was really good, I recommend it. Only thing, way too expensive for what you get. My suggestion is: drink more wine and don’t think about the bill. 3.6 in my opinion so I give four but it isn’t well deserved.   Wow, what a great hospitality, great service and above all great food! We were welcomed as we came home, and we truely felt at home. We had dinner 2 times, but do have to come back for dessert!   Best Restaurant in the Sintra area. And i have been to most of them. Food was amazing and service is very good too. Only one thing i would suggest is not putting paprikas in with the garlic prawns, as i makes it a little bit too sweet for my taste and instead adding more coriander and piri piri. Full 5 stars. We had the Steaks with Portuguese Sauce and mushroom Sauce, the grilled salmon with very delicious vegetables and the pasta with mushroom Sauce.   Very tasty food in a nice atmosphere with very attentive service. We ordered Garlic prawns for starter which were full of flavour. Some typical octopus which was cooked to perfection and some Squid Kebab for mains -don't get put off by the name, it's not a kebab but grilled squid on a skewer and it was amazing! Go for it!   Loved our experience here. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, there’s an open fire, and the menu is extensive, so lots of choice. My husband had the chicken and he was so happy with the size and flavour of the dish. I went with the shrimp risotto and it didn’t disappoint. Customer service was also lovely, so all in all it was a very nice experience! They did try to offer us bread and olives, but we refused as we knew we would be charged for it. I asked for tuna steak: disgusting, the sea bass equally awfull, the shrimps salad two thumbs down, everything was a mess.   Had high expectations due to high review on Google, but total lack of organization in handling a busy Sunday. No couvert was offered, waited too long for appetizer and mains, the polvo a lagareiro was overcooked, had no seasoning and the vegetables were raw, asked for the check twice and took forever. I work in restaurants and if you're not able to handle this kind of volume then don't take in so many people at the same time, get more staff and train them better.
