  This place was absolutely packed! There was no outdoor seating available and due to the long wait I was happy to sit inside. The waiters were lovely to us but however they did take very long especially after we ordered our pizza it took around 30 minutes to be served. It was very tasty, and I can’t complain about the food, but as much as I appreciate it was busy, it should have been quicker. Our desert was lovely, but again took around 25 minutes, because I had to remind the waiter about it and then they brought it out not much after that.   First of all the food is good but honestly dining in this place is like getting multiple slaps in the face. The servers hate you so much that you feel like it’s a punishment for them to work there. Starting from the front door, there is literally no one to great you and when/if you manage to get the table you will get a menu in Portuguese and would have to beg to get it in English if you’re not local. Today for example me and friend have been shown a hand (talk to the hand cause face is not listening)into our faces when we asked for an English menu, honestly a first in a restaurant. After literally doing jumping jacks and trying to send smoke signals to the staff you manage to place an order but if you need anything else like ashtray you need find where they keep them and take it yourself( tip waiting staff station outside, on the lower shelf) cause otherwise you won’t ever get it. In general the staff is acting like you have syphilis and avoids you at all costs. The food is okay tho, would recommend some pizzas and definitely try a lemon tart for dessert( however good luck in trying to order the dessert because they take the menu away as soon as you order your mains). Waiting time to pay is also shocking but never mind. In general if you want to feel like everything’s your fault and you don’t deserve to be somewhere, you should visit. Depois de literalmente fazer polichinelos e tentar enviar sinais de fumaça para a equipe, você consegue fazer um pedido, mas se precisar de mais alguma coisa, como um cinzeiro, você precisa descobrir onde eles os guardam e levá-lo você mesmo (gorjeta na estação da equipe do lado de fora, na prateleira inferior ) porque, caso contrário, você nunca conseguirá. Em geral a equipe age como se você tivesse sífilis e evita você a todo custo. A comida é boa, recomendo algumas pizzas e definitivamente experimente uma torta de limão para a sobremesa (porém boa sorte ao tentar pedir a sobremesa porque eles retiram o menu assim que você pede a alimentação). Esperar o tempo para pagar também é chocante, mas não importa. Em geral, se você quer sentir que tudo é culpa sua e que não merece estar em algum lugar, você deve visitar.

  We had lunch and the food was great. Service was slow to start, but once we ordered the food came quickly. We had Sangrias, salmon salad and a vegetarian pizza. The sangria and food was very good and certainly recommended. The outdoor area is fairly enclosed and gets no wind, so it can be hot & sweaty on a nice summer afternoon. There is AC inside.   I had been there at least twice before and the food, service and atmosphere was always top class. However, this time around it was disappointing. It was very busy and loud (especially under their new terrace roof), so loud in fact that eventually conversation was impossible. Service has always been a little slow, but with how many people were there it became worse. Our starters and main course came at the same time, which is something I did not expect from such a place at all, with how praised they are and with my past experiences there. That meant that our main courses were getting cold, and on top of that, the quality and taste of the food definitely took a hit. Recommendation: Check when the least busy time is and go then.   I came here in March with my friend and we had such a great time - this time I went alone, I ended up having 3 courses and everything was DELICIOUS! I’m trying to speak Portuguese but I’m not 100% on everything, my waiter Luísa was so lovely and kind. She gave me amazing recommendations and I really enjoyed every dish I had.   The place is really beautiful from the outside so we decided to give a try. There are two lines: one for those with reservation and the other for those without it. Since we're just walking by, we had to join the latter. The first lowlight was the fact that the waitress told us there were only available tables at the outside patio when there were several of empty tables on the inside. Maybe they were all reserved, but still, sounded/looked stupid. I wouldn't be making a big deal of it if it wasn't extremely windy and cold in the outside. The view was nice, a very beautiful sunset painted the background but still, we had to dine under cold wind. The table service wasn't good either. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be answered and, after ordering our food, it took something around 25 minutes to get it on our table. I ordered Rotolini (pepperoni-tomato-cheese stuffed garlic bread) for sliders and 4 Formaggio pizza as main dish. My wife ordered a Margherita pizza. To drink, a beer mug and a lemonade with red fruits. The pizzas were good, but the crusts were way too thin (we're not expecting a pan or napolitan pizza, but still too thin). The Rotolini was very good (although quite expensive, considering the size of the portion). The lemonade was the highlight of the meal. It was a valid experience but I wouldn't try again.   Visited Caprricciosa Carcavelos on 27 June for lunch with my family and my specialneeds daughter. The service we were given by our waiter Igor was excepcional especially his caring for my daughter. It is one of the first times this has happened with just a small gesture from Igor which meant the world to us. The food is also very good and tasty.   Im Italian...the pizza Is not even closer to the minimum standard and the prices are quite High. The service was terrible, as we were served by 4-5 different people that weren't minimally organized. Still, nice ambient and they are trying their best.   Very very disappointed by their Pizzas. We were 4 and ordered the followings: "portugesa, francesa and toscana" - The olives tasted like water, so did the onions. The tomato base didn't have any taste at all. The crust was ok. - The "roquette" salad, which is supposed to have a lot of taste, hardly had some. The parmesan was mediocre. The cheese was, again, not tasty. - Ham and burrata had hardly any taste. And seemed like they didn't drain the liquid from the mozzarella.. I suppose it's because all the ingredients are low quality or were defrosted.. Disappointing for "home made" pizzas. Mojito and nutella pizza were good though.   In general a great restaurant. From past visits before Covid-19 I can tell it has great quality, very nice staff and an environment that has a suiting beach atmosphere. My experience this time was on a takeaway scenario where in spite of the great quality the entrance was crowded and IMHO it could be better organized, specially in a covid context. There are simply not enough staff and sometimes we have been left waiting a long time to get plates cleared and other things.   As a regularly visitor of the outlet in Cascais I was pleasantly surprised when I visited this one for the first time on my birthday. Amazing views from a very well decorated venue. Kind staff and the really affordable prices that they share across location with the always tasty menu. Had my favorite the Rustica Pizza (without the ham - so basically what they used to call Funghi and that they took from the menu a long time ago) and it tasted exactly the same as the one I usually have in Cascais. The chocolate cake did not disappoint as well. I'd say if you're ever in doubt between this one and the one in Cascais you should definitely give it a try as it is equally inviting and cozy.   Honestly the worst meal I had during my week holiday in the area. We went to the one in Cascais and enjoyed our meal so were expecting more of the same. We arrived and were seated quickly, our starters came out quickly and wasn't as good quality as the Cascais restaurant, however our mains were terrible. They arrived within 15 mins of us sitting down but had obviously been made long before. My husband had lasagne and said it was warm in some places and cold in others, suggesting reheating. I had the bolognese pizza, the same as I had in the other Cascais restaurant. It was clear they had made a plain pizza and thrown some reheated bolognese and raw mushrooms on top (the whole thing was cooked together at the other restaurant). The pizza was cold and soggy. We paid cash and waited for our change as we weren't tipping this terrible meal. After the server took the money we didn't see him for 20 mins, then he didn't come near us for another 5 at least. Eventually he came back looking a bit sheepish, and asked if we had received our change yet. He did bring it over then but I wasn't very happy that they were obviously hoping we'd just leave. During the meal there was some sports event on the TV and there were some people shouting and screaming at the TV, not really what I expect when I go out for a restaurant meal. Meu marido comeu lasanha e disse que estava quente em alguns lugares e frio em outros, sugerindo reaquecimento. Comi a pizza à bolonhesa, igual à que comi no outro restaurante de Cascais. Ficou claro que eles haviam feito uma pizza simples e jogado um pouco de bolonhesa reaquecida e cogumelos crus por cima (tudo foi cozido junto no outro restaurante). A pizza estava fria e encharcada. Pagamos em dinheiro e esperamos pelo troco, pois não estávamos dando gorjeta para essa refeição terrível. Depois que o servidor pegou o dinheiro, não o vimos por 20 minutos, então ele não se aproximou de nós por mais 5, pelo menos. Eventualmente, ele voltou parecendo um pouco envergonhado e perguntou se já havíamos recebido o troco. Ele o trouxe então, mas eu não fiquei muito feliz porque eles obviamente esperavam que simplesmente partíssemos. Durante a refeição houve algum evento esportivo na TV e havia algumas pessoas gritando e gritando na TV, o que não é exatamente o que eu espero quando saio para comer em um restaurante.

  We waited 30 minutes for our pizza and it came out soggy and cold, and it took 45 minutes for our salads to come out. The veiw is very nice and the food was tasty, on the particular day we were there they had run out of oil and salt...   In 2018 this was a nice place with very good Italian food and the best beach view of Lisbon area. In 2019 they changed owners and the service became with less quality , and the food also changed for worst. Lesse cordination between the clients order and the diferent (departement) services. There are "departemenst" for entrances, other for drinks, other for main courses, other for desert and cofee..... and often they put the thinks on the table without respecting sequence and time. Em 2019 mudaram de dono e o serviço ficou com menos qualidade, e a comida também mudou para pior. Menor coordenação entre a encomenda do cliente e os diferentes serviços (departamentais). Há "departemenst" para entradas, outros para bebidas, outros para pratos principais, outros para sobremesas e cafés..... e muitas vezes colocam as ideias na mesa sem respeitar a sequência e o tempo.

  Greate beachy 🏖 vibe restaurante, right in the ocean front, with plenty indoors and outdoors seating. The menu is overall good, pizzas are the strong 💪 point, however recently added salad options are great as well. Starter options need improvement, the rotollini got smaller and more expensive, not worth the price currently, the best starter in my view... gambas ao alho, was sadly removed from the menu. Not overly expensive but gets full quick, make a reservation whenever possible. O cardápio é no geral bom, as pizzas são o ponto forte 💪, porém as opções de saladas adicionadas recentemente também são ótimas. As opções de entrada precisam ser melhoradas, o rotollini ficou menor e mais caro, não vale o preço atual, a melhor entrada na minha opinião... gambas ao alho, infelizmente foi retirada do cardápio. Não é muito caro, mas fica cheio rapidamente, faça uma reserva sempre que possível.

  I really like this restaurant for the view. There are not many places that are as accessible in terms of price, right in front of the beach. Can get quite full though... During the summer it is also nice to sit out in the lounge bar area and have some drinks while listening to chill out music they have on. Really nice spot.
