  Já conheço o Fim do Mundo desde 2018 e é sem dúvida uma paragem obrigatória nas idas ao Algarve. De Norte a Sul de Portugal, nunca comi carnes maturadas tão saborosas e bem confecionadas como aqui. O Bife da Casa e Mirandesa são fantásticos, mas Black Angus (tanto Argentina como Uruguai) são de ir ao céu. As doses são generosas, pelo que dão para duas pessoas perfeitamente (a acrescentar uma entrada e sobremesa ficarão mais que satisfeitos). Apesar da carne ser o ex-libris, o camarão tigre grelhado também vale a pena experimentar. Para os amantes de banoffee pie, a daqui vale muiiito a pena! O staff é muito atencioso, bem disposto e amável, em especial a Jo e a Fiona. Não é barato, mas os preços são muito justos para a qualidade. Reservem sempre diretamente com o Restaurante! P.S.: Noto progressivamente menos portugueses a frequentar o Fim do Mundo, talvez consequência infeliz da descida do poder de compra do português..

  Wow! Usually this place I booked out far in advance but we came along a got a space where some hadn’t showed up. The staff was lovely from the young boy who explained the menu in depth to Jo who was lovely. We sat outside on the street and enjoyed a sharing starter platter with cheese, ham, chorizo, olives, bread and pate. We then had mains of the King Prawns with sauce, Sizzling Portuguese sausage and beef stroganoff. They were all amazing 10/10. All mains come with fries, red cabbage and coleslaw. The only down side is that you can’t pay with card. It doesn’t make sense to go after 3% of additional profits when the prices are already relatively high.   Well what can I say about this place……apart from wow! I Could not recommend this place enough, from the super friendly attentive staff, to the amazing food and for someone who has travelled all over the world, the steak here is the best I’ve ever had.   This restaurant is so warm and inviting. The staff are sooo friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your meal.   First time round we discovered Fim do Mundo by accident, with another restaurant cancelling our reservation out of the blue, we called in and were lucky for Jo to offer a place that same evening. What and experience! The steaks are out of this world, the cakes - amazing, and the warmest hospitality you can imagine. It’s all a family-owned restaurant should be! Since then it’s been a tradition and we’ve been here 3 times now every time we’ve visited Portugal. It’s a kind of place we’d build our itinerary around. Now that we’ve relocated to Portugal - we’ll definitely be coming here more often. One of the best restaurants in Portugal if not in Europe! Bravo, Jo and the team! (For the rookies - portions are truly huge, but you’d be surprised how much you’d eat - the food is sublime!). Bookings are a must.   Just got back from Portugal, this was one of our best meals. It was recommended by a local, Ricardo. Jo, the owner is lovely and hands on. The wine was fantastic, the Hawaiian Shrimp appetizer was delicious. We had no idea how big the portions would be. My husband ordered the Portuguese ribeye and I ordered the Portuguese filet mignon. It was enough meat for 6 people! I wish we has spent more time in Ferragudo, it seems like a lovely town just 15 minutes away from Portimao. If you go during season, call ahead for reservations.   Best steaks I have ever tasted. The two ladies who looked after us where lovely. Service is excellent considering how busy it was. You will need to book. Size of the steaks is breathtaking, 3 fillets, 2 ribeyes per portion and perfectly cooked.   Brilliant - what a find. The two women who run this place are an absolute hoot and always up for a laugh. Fantastic steak selection, interesting decor and an all around lovely meal. Tomahawk steak was delicious. It's no wonder this place in a back alley is booked out a week on advance.   Well it’s been a year since we’ve been back and we had great memories of our first visit but this one surpassed that. Jo and her staff were fantastic and the steak was truly amazing.   It is easily the best restaurant in Ferragudo and probably the best in the Portimão area. Both the seafood and meat have been perfected by two skilled chefs behind an open kitchen. The waiters are some of the most friendly and helpful waiters you'll meet. The prizes for the dishes are very well worth it and you won't regret paying a little extra for'em. We ordered peppersauce steak, grilled chicken and grilled lamb chops with mint sauce.   We were lucky enough to eat at Fim do Mundo twice while in Ferragudo. We visited at the tail end of the off-season in the area, and both times we walked up fairly late in the evening (9pm+) and were able to get a table for 6, however it seemed like the last free spot both times. The first time they accommodated us with a special table in the street out front, and brought us blankets when it got cold. The service was funny, friendly, and fast. The food has been written about at length below and was truly superb, both the beef and seafood. If you're 3 or more people, you should try the (huge) platter!
