  Ceviche was good, drinks were good. Tacos were ok, not as tasty as expected. Paying the bill was interesting because they add the tip before you ask and then tell you "If you want we can remove the tip" - which is very manipulative from a psychological point of view.   The executive menu is extremely small, the food was good, but too small. I got the ceviche al aji amarillo. The tartar the atun is also, very small. We started with the delicious pumpkin bread and the couvert, a mix o banana chips, an exquisite spicy “dip” and the Peruvian crunchy corn. Then, came the three ceviches piqueo — each one amazing in their own way. Expectations were high for the main dishes, and Segundo Muelle did not disappoint! We shared four dishes, all delicious, but the quinoa risotto with lomo left us crying for more.   It is impossible not to share one of the most pleasant dining experiences in Lisbon. Segundo Muelle offers a great selection of Peruvian dishes and a fantastic beverages to your taste. We had a possibility to visit the restaurant for 3 (!) times, attending it during lunch time. A personal favourite- Causan Crocante (which you can see on the first photo) has provoked so many gustatory emotions as we have never tried anything like that. Shrimps were served in a sweet and sour sauce (more sweet, I would say) and "croquettes" were a great addition to that. In order to make this experience even more vibrant, we have tried different pisco sours-pisco manzana was probably one of the best, although it is hard to pick a favourite one, as every one of them was great! As soon as we are back in Lisbon- Segundo Muelle is our first stop. 10/10 for food, atmosphere and service!   First we were seated and everything was good, until the waiter brought some appetizers and asked us if we wanted it ? Which was weird because it’s either complimentary or we order it, but when we asked he replied this is not free, which seemed like an extra dish they wanted us to take !!   Having gone to Segundo Muelle countless times in Lima. I had to visit this one in Lisbon. I had the ceviche, pisco sour, chicha morada, ando lomo con quinoa. The ceviche was on the weak side but everything else was pretty ok. Their lomo and quinoa was pretty good. The pisco sours were punchy and their chicha morada a close memory to Peru.   First night in Lisbon and great choice for dinner. At first we were not convince about the mix of Peruvian food with Italian or Mexican cuisine but our waitress convince to try and give us very nice recommendations. To be honest the food was very good from starters to deserts (here I do recommend try at least 3 of them) . Lomo saltado is the star of the menu. We just missed some classic peruvian dishes like tradicional causa or anticucheros … but I believe Gaston Acurio will approve this nice restaurant in Lisbon.   This place is the best place we’ve had dinner in whole Lisbon!! We came there late (23:00) with 12 people and they welcomed us, unlike other restaurants that just ignored us. The service was fast and really good. The food might be on the more expensive side, but that’s because the quality of this food is phenomenal. I’ve had the best pasta in my life there! There’s nothing bad about this shop, the drinks can be a bit cheaper tho in my opinion, but that’s all. This place is perfect!!   I went to this place twice. The first experience was so incredible that I came back with family. Unfortunately they don’t have consistency. The service really depends from the person that you’ll get serving you. The second time we had a waiter that didn’t speak English, was constantly forcing the upsell and he gave us wrong informations regarding the set menu to have the opportunity to charge us more. In the first visit we had a lovely waiter, always concern about the quality of the food and very friendly without this upsell attitude. In the kitchen, the same thing. First time, marvellous food. I missed food from Peru and I though I finally found it in Portugal! Well, in the second time it was not like that. Too much azafran in the arroz con mariscos that make it impossible to finish. The Aji Amarillo in the ceviche and the starters has tasteless. Same thing with the huancaina sauce. For the price you pay, this inconsistency is not acceptable. I’ll think twice before I return since my last experience has so poor regarding food and service. Giving a 3 starts because the first experience was good. It took me a little while to decide on what I wanted but they gave me plenty of time to choose. I got to try some Peruvian things I hadn't had before and would highly recommend - the chicha morada (a cold non-alcoholic drink that tastes somewhat like mulled wine) and lúcuma cheesecake. Our waiter was able to answer all of our questions about the food and was also able to recommend something to eat. The food is highly recommended. They were kid friendly.   Really tasty Peruvian food in town. So glad I ate here after we couldn’t find any seats in the Time Out market nearby, We ordered this really delicious bread with a pumpkin based dip. The bread was really fragrant and a great starter. The poke bowl and the beef + spaghetti were awesome. The spaghetti had a great cream sauce while the poke bowl was just really fresh. A waiter told me there were two, including the vegetable linguini. when I returned that night and sat down with friends, the waiter told me it wasn't vegan - there were no vegan options.   I came to el segundo muelle with very high expectations as I’ve been to the one in Peru and loved it. However, the one here wasn’t exactly up to par. We ordered the ceviche classico and the quinoa risotto. The first was almost inedible - the fish was super fishy, something that’d never happen in peru, while the second was top notch. The waiters were kind enough to return the ceviche to the kitchen and not charge us for it thankfully. The food took a looooooooong time to arrive, like an hour, and service wasn’t uber attentive. They were nice, but just not attentive. The aji and chifles are delicious though, and the location is great, so for that, three stars.   A bit disappointed from this place. Not only the food was mehhh, and overpriced for what it is (it was still OK, but not amazing), but the service was lacking. I was there at 15.25 on Friday, the menu says there is “Lunch menu till 15:30”, but when I asked, the waiter (older Portuguese/Brazilian guy) just kinda noded “no” and said it is only till 15:30 and they stoped serving it. When I was ready to order food the other waitress who pretended to speak English, but honestly spoke only prepared phrases that she memorized, but couldn’t understand simple question as “do you have only Salmon or also other fish?” To which she answered “we have avocado”. The food looks nice though, if you want to post on Instagram (it seems the concept of many restaurants these days…), but if you want good food and decent service, chose other place.   Did a spontaneous visit to Segundo Muelle as we were passing by with a rumbling tummies. I was positively surprised since I usually experience restaurants in touristy areas to focus on acquisition rather than retention, leading to disappointing experiences. This was not the case here. Had their tasty white sangria. The couvert was delicious with nutty breads and a spiced butter. As for the main we tried their linguini a la huancaína con lomo and the risotto camarones. Both of which were absolutely delicious and full of quality ingredients. I was shocked at the generous amount of prawns in the risotto. Service was great as well! Will definitely return.   My family and I were out at Timeout Market, which was absolutely rammed. We had planned to eat lunch there but decided to leave. We're glad we did as we stumbled accross this place.   The food here is just incredible. Great taste with a lot of variety, there's a dish here for everyone especially if you're willing to try something new. This restaurant is also beautifully decorated and the staff are friendly and very helpful. In terms of parking, there is one underground parking lot right outside and a metro/train station (Cais do Sodré) just 5 minutes away if you're not coming by car.   Worst restaurant i have ever been in the name of peruvian cuisine. The staff doesn’t serve nicely except some. Food was utterly disgusting that i had to literally waste my 40€ for eating risotto at a peruvian place.   Amazing taste in all the options I ate and drink. Strongly recommended. Very curated peruvian cuisine in Lisbon. Worths every euro. I had the Peruvian starter, with a very interesting and tasty sauce. Then as a main dish I had the PIQUEO Tres Ceviches and I couldn't decide which one was better than the other. For dessert I had the Lemmon Cheesecake... Very subtle yet very tasty. Next time I will try some other options I saw on the menu and can't stop thinking about it. Conclusion: I LOVED IT!   Stark disappointment. We came near the end of the night today, and ordered the Segundo muelle ceviche and a maracuyá sour. The drink was really good. However, the ceviche was horrible, as soon as it was presented it provoqued a strong apprehension. It looked as though a jug of supermarket mayonnaise had been dropped on the fish. Even more so for my Peruvian girlfriend who is very knowledgeable and makes incredible ceviche herself. What's more, she has been to the Peruvian franchise! The worst came later. We tried to have an open mind and give it a shot, however no good, so we asked the waiter to change the dish, she agreed and took it away. 5m later she comes back with the menu and states that we are still going to have to pay for the horrible dish! This wouldn't be unexpected in a McDonald's, however, for a higher end restaurant it is not the worldwide standard and it is unacceptable. Of course, we tell this to the waiter, the manager came and began to argue with us. In the end, they agreed to change the dish for free. Now, I ask. Why did we have to go through the arguing? In the end, your staff didn't get their way and ruined our mood for the night. Not a five star experience, not a five star service, definitely not a five star food.   Wow such a comercial disappointment. Where do we begin... The lighting and the atmosphere of this establishment was worse than my elementary schools cafeteria.(we asked them a couple of times to dim the lights). A lot of money has been put in to the “decor” but non in the quality of the food and drinks. The pisco tasted like it wasn’t even real lime inside more like a sweet store bought copy and the food was well...ok. You can probably make it better at home.   I have been at Segundo Muelle over 6 times and I can say that I am completely obsessed about their quinoa risotto with lomo. In general, the food is always really good. We always share dishes so that we can try different things: ceviches, tacos, rice. One dish per person is just right. The only fixed dish we ask is the quinoa risotto, and the other varies. The pisco Sour (classic) is also fresh and really good and my favourite dessert is the suspiro with dulce the leche. It's really sweet, but smooth and delicious. It can be a bit pricey, but it's always worth it from time to time. The staff, service and environment are great. For sure I am coming back, as I always do.
