  Super good experience, i was with a group of friends. There are gluten free options. I took 'black rice from the sea' and it was one of the best of my life.   I had a worse food eating experience at restaurant of my life. The octopus was beyond eatable, overcooked chewy and was served with potatoes which seems to have been drenched with oil. The garlic and onions added on top of it did not give taste but ruin the taste. I have had octopus dish before and I have never had eaten worse than this one. Can be a little warm inside- not sure they have A/C. Bring cash - they do not accept cards. We did not have a reservation but we got in early on Monday night around 6:30PM.   While visiting Lisbon, we ate here two nights in a row once we found it. We had 4 different dishes and an appetizer and all were great. All the staff are very friendly and attentive and want to educate on Portuguese food. If we return to Lisbon in the future, we'll be back.   I wanted somewhere nice but not OTT to go for a special occasion and after reading various reviews decided on this place. I don't love fish, but my other half does, so I wanted somewhere balanced, and that hopefully didn't smell fishy. This place is EPIC. The food is amazing, we had steak (Portuguese style) and cod fillet, and if I could have licked the plate in public, I would have done - the steak sauce was buttery, salty, garlicy goodness - I could have drowned in it more than happily! (The fish was apparently lovely too.) The service was welcoming and friendly (we emailed for a reservation the day before, and the response was pretty brief, so I was a bit apprehensive, but I shouldn't have been!), and the prices were very reasonable (cash only, despite what the website says, but there's an ATM literally next door 👍) Tucked into a side street off a busy area, it is a real hidden gem. 100% recommended.   I couldn't have asked for a beter place to eat on our last night in Lisbon. We were welcomed with open arms and made to feel like we were with family. The food and wine were amazing as was the service. If we ever get the opportunity to return to Portugal again, we will return to Stasha.   We came here on our last night in Lisbon after reading great reviews and looking at the menu. This became my absolute favorite evening during our whole time in Portugal. The restaurant is super sexy and bohemian - beautiful decor and the coolest/nicest staff who really cared about working there. The food was one of our favorite meals. So much flavor in every dish!! There was live music playing half way through dinner and it was the icing on the cake for our experience - the musician was so kind and sweet to us (and our 2 year old daughter who joined!) We saw mostly couples and small groups eating here (it's a very small restaurant) but we also saw 3 separate tables of solo travelers eating so this is truly a place for everyone!   I’m very, very confused. It’s as if an artist was made to open a restaurant with little actual culinary training. The food presentation, ambience, service and raw ingredients are all superb. However, the flavors were so, so strange. Somehow, the fresh king prawns taste like fish guts. And my risotto was made using wild rice, that sat unabsorbed in a salty squid puddle, topped with mango boba pearls. The flavors just didn’t come together, but very obligingly and passive aggressively occupied the same plate space. There were also tiny fruit flies that kept landing on the cod. Also. Cash only.   What an amazing experience!!!! This restaurant was by all accounts a gem that my wife and I stumbled upon by accident while exploring the City. In 2019, After hours of coursing through the hill heavy roads of Lisboa, we built up an extreme hunger in the early afternoon hours and we were lucky to have walked past this empty, intimate restaurant set back behind scaffolding that fronted the street. I am extremely pleased that we pushed through the scaffolding to explore the menu and sit down for what would be one of our best meals while in Lisboa. Sharing an appetizer, drinks, and main entrees, my wife and I walked away from the experience with big smiles and a memory we still share with one another to this day.   Be careful of the tourist trap. Don’t let them fool you! Even though the food isn’t bad, they offer you a plate with bread, about 10 ml of olive oil (frankly quite scarce), a small pack of butter and some olives. The surprise comes at the check, when all of this sums up to 7€. It’s a pity when restaurants take advantage of clients this way. A little more respect and care would make this a good place.   One of the worst expiriences in my life.I paid with Zomato Pro and due to a zomato issue the restaurant did not recieve the payment confirmation. I showed the receipt generated by zomato and even opened my bank account transactions history, they still insisted I hadn't paid. The restaurant owner humilited in front of the entire restaurant and told me I was not allowed to exit the restaurant before paying. He was extremeley aggressive, direspectfull and condescent. At some point I feared he would phisicaly assault me. I had no alternative other than calling the police and write a formal complaint.   Firstly, the sink was not working, with no running water this should have been bad omen to turn away here, especially in covid times and especially as the hand sanitizer bottle was pumping empty. The menu boasted options for both meat eaters and vegetarians alike, however to my horror upon ordering the mushroom risotto it arrived decorated with a giant cured meat spiral. Despite being a dish listed under the 'vegetarian' section. For some god unknown reason my partner ordered the crème brûlée which arrived all liquid, so much so that it nearly evaporated on the table. It was as if the ingredients were whisked together and torched so that only the first 1mm would harden. All in all the bill amounted to the most expensive meal that we had in Lisbon (probably because of all the extras, but I couldn't read the writing) and it was by far the worst. The restaurant also 'didn't accept card' so we had to pay cash. Supsious. Avoid and check out Kong for vegan food or Prado for all dietary options.   Our first dinner in Lissabon and I never regretted my choice! Starters were recommended by the staff and oh boy, the choices definitely did not disappoint. We had the cheese and salmon tartare with herbs snd wasabi. They were so good that there was no time to take any photos! Especially the salmon tartare with wasabi - the sauce is geniusly created as a sort of ice cream like texture. It puts a zing in your mouth and explosion of taste. Purely delightful! The risotto and linguine nero are to die for as well. Proportion was good and the taste really makes you wanna order another portion even if your tummy says “no more!” Did I also mention that the staff are really wonderful and funny as well? Attentive too snd always checking up on us which I don’t usually like, but these people make the vibe so enjoyable!   We ate dinner at this restaurant. At the beginning we got a starter - bread with oil and olives, although we did not order it. We got menu after the bread came so we didn’t even had a chance to order it. We considered it normal, like at a lot of restaurants do. So we started to wonder what we would order from menu. This is where the first problem comes. A lady waitress was very rude and acting very strange. As if she didn't want to serve us. We ordered salmon tartare and pork cheeks. The tartare was bad and had bones and scales. the pork cheeks were very good - that's why I give 2 stars not 1. When it came to the payment, it turned out that the bread we didn’t ordered is added to the bill and the musical performance also. Luckily the waiter removed the bread from the bill. He was probably very upset by this fact because when he brought us the bill to the table, he literally threw it in the middle and walked away. We wanted to pay by card, but the waitress told us in a mean way that we can't pay by card. There was no such information anywhere inside and out.   Disappointed following other experiences in Lisbon. We ordered the seafood risotto that looked pretty but at 18 euros was a tiny portion. The sea food was great but the rice was black risotto rice without much flavor. The worst experience was on leaving when the bill was in unclear handwriting . There were cover charges we had not used and a charge for live music that we had not been informed before eating. The extra fries we asked for got quickly so dry and hard, we had to dip them into the gravy so we could still eat them. We ordered the linguine with shrimp and scallops (substituted for clams on our request) in squid ink, the beef kabob with fries and side salad, and shrimp in oil.   Take in consideration before stepping in the restaurant. The squid spaghetti with seafood I had is a big disappointment. It was our last night in Lisbon and I was hoping to have a last taste of seafood in Portugal. The spaghetti was tasteless without any seasoning, clams were either too small or empty, only scallop and prawns are acceptable to me. However, the mushroom risotto my girlfriend had was really good with a solid mushroom taste. I suppose it really depends on what you ordered.   Nice and cozy neighborhood restaurant. What I liked the most (apart from the food itself, of course) was that it offers traditional Portuguese cuisine for Portuguese people. For me that's a VERY good sign. It's not your typical tourist trap. Prices are surprisingly good for what you get. Service is fast and courteous. They treat you just like another customer and not like a money cow which unfortunately is now the norm in many of Lisbon restaurants. If you are in Bairro Alto, you should definitely try this place.   Beware of the items on the table under cling film. These are over priced with the charges hidden deep in the main menu. Also if you have bread, butter and olive oil it will set you back over €5. The shrimp starter was good but at €14 for 5 shrimp, expensive. The first Portuguese steak was as tuff as old boots, the replacement was literally raw in the middle and the third replacement was the same steak with a fresh egg on top. My impression of this restaurant is that they are there to fleece their clients. Like their steaks they’re warm on the outside but cold underneath.   The prawns and clams risotto isnt fully cooked. :'( Maybe my family had too high of an expectation when we saw 4.3 stars. I must say the service and staff are amazing and very accomodating. my papa had the octopus with red onion, however it was too soft, after having seafood throughout my childhood in Singapore, its obvious the octopus isnt fresh but the flavour is fantastic with the olive oil and peppers. Sad to say we won't be visiting anytime soon. For those of you who wants to visit, maybe it's ok to try the salmon sesame, we had two, and it was alright.   Randomly dropped in while meandering through the side streets. It was quite late (for us) but we were incredibly happy we did. We tried the octopus and tuna tartare. Some olives and jambon. Service was excellent and the food fresh and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was buzzing and a pile of contented patrons. We will certainly go back again while we are in Lisbon.   "Polvo" from lunch menu (€10) was amazing! Sadly not so much a few days later for dinner (16€). Dinner was rushed, potatoes and octopus undercook.   Looked lovely from the outside and did have a very cosy atmosphere inside. The Food itself is not great, doesn't taste very fresh and a bit on the sloppy side.   Come early! We were the first there at 7:05, but by 7:40 they were turning people away. The best part of Stasha is the food. For my main I ordered the pork loin. It was outstanding and I highly recommend it. We started with the meat and bread, which I would skip next time. This was followed by the mushroom starter, which was great. The two staters were similarly priced, but the mushroom plate was much better value (the meat dish felt like an impulse buy). Relatively small space, decent service. (Traduzido pelo Google) Vem cedo! Foi excelente e eu recomendo fortemente. Começamos pela carne e pelo pão, que eu pularia na próxima vez. Isto foi seguido pela entrada de cogumelos, que foi ótimo. Os dois staters tinham preços semelhantes, mas o prato de cogumelos tinha um valor muito melhor (o prato de carne parecia uma compra por impulso). Espaço relativamente pequeno, serviço decente.

  We made a booking and when we arrived st the restaurant they had cancelled our booking. Instead of trying to accommodate and admit they made a mistake, the servers were extremely rude to us and refused to assist us. I would never attempt to eat here and recommend anyone to.   My friends recommended me this restaurant, back to the UK. Excited, I booked online, arrived on time. The waitress disgusted pointed at a table and we sat down.   The food overall was really good, but I was not impressed that they charge you €1 for every small portion of butter and €2.50 for regular bread at the table. What makes it worse is, that before you even have had a chance to start to read the menu, they offer you the bread without making you aware that there is a charge for it. Bit cheeky, because once you have said yes, you can't give it back.
