  We had such a good lunch here. It looks deceptive from the outside but the moment you walk in, the vibe is so nice, the owners are super friendly and the food was superb. We had 4 different glasses of wine that were all fab, it’s right on a tram line so you sometimes see the cute little yellow trams going past. A must stop, it’s super cute.   Our favourite place in Lisbon, located fairly centrally, this hidden little gem is well worth the visit. If their lit up neon sign isn’t enough to pull you in then the exceptional wine choice, friendly waiters and unbelievable food should be! We came here from recommendation off our friend, and we were not disappointed. This tiny little wine bar is popular so if you want to eat, make sure you book. They were turning customers away the whole time we were sat there. The waiter, believe to be the owner (we didn’t get his name) was so knowledgable on the wines, super friendly & was clearly running something special! When it came to the food, just wow! We ate 3/4 share plate, including the pork belly and prawns. Highly recommend the croquettes. Believe this was cooked by his wife. Many compliments to the chef!   Hands down one of the best food establishments my husband and I have frequented! The ceviche was perfectly seasoned and had just the right amount of acid added to the dish. The scallops were melt in your mouth divine and whoever decided to fry leeks is a genius. I’m just sad that I don’t live in Lisbon because I’d be frequenting this place often.   If only the service was as good as the olives. We are only in Lisbon for two nights and decided to come here based off the other good reviews and I regret wasting one of our few meals here. The food was nothing special - the vegetarian croquettes had a glue-like texture and the vegetarian samosas tasted like something frozen from a box. The tomato octopus risotto was decent. The only great dish was the olives. Good wine selection but after we had finished our first glass the server never came back to take another drink order. We had to ask for water for the table. We had ordered a bread basket to start but didn’t receive the bread until almost the end of the meal. Finally, we had to flag down the server to pay because they hadn’t come back to our table for ages. After we asked for the bill we again waited for about 15 minutes for the server to return. I eventually got up to pay our bill at the counter to find our server sitting behind the bar eating pizza. Do not waste your time or money here. My main course was the sea board. With another glass of wine this was a fantastic experience, especially the way they had prepared octopus.   If there could be 6 stars, I would give them. Everything we tried here was beautifully prepared with careful attention to flavor. By far, the best place we’ve eaten in Lisbon. As a family of 3, we started with bread. It came with a pesto butter spread and a goat cheese spread. The bread was warm and easily melted the spread right in. Then we had the grilled fish (sea bass), Iberian salad, and octopus risotto followed by a traditional Portuguese desert. We are definitely going back before we leave. Be sure to make a reservation!   If you only go to one restaurant in Lisbon, make it this one! I called into this place on my first night here and immediately booked a table for my second night. Had goat's cheese rolls and was recommended a glass of Quinta da Rol to go with it. Exquisite. Also had alheira cake (delicious but v filling) and the scallops (also delicious). Glasses of wine a little dearer than you might expect but worth every penny. Lovely casual vibe, very welcoming service and servers who know their stuff. GO!!!   We came here for wine when we first arrived because we thought it was just a wine bar. We came back on our last day in Lisbon for lunch before our flight. We were glad we did.   Disappointed with our experience. Wine prices very high compared to elsewhere in Lisbon. Codfish cakes were so plain - I couldn’t even eat them. The charcuterie board was fine but value is not there. The waiters were drinking the entire time which maybe explains why our food never came and we had to remind them what we ordered a few times.   Amazing, amazing, amazing experience in this wine bar! We arrived as a party of four at the end of the brunch service and left more than six hours later as a party of seven. Multiple bottles of gorgeous wine (sparkling and white) and beautiful food were enjoyed throughout.   If you plan to try some wine, it’s a not right place to do it. It’s like a cafe that has some wines stored on the shelfs. Staff is bringing a bottle of wine that is warm. Ok, almost hot. Explaining it is a summer and they don’t have enough space in fridge. No excuses, just it is unexpected hot days… in a summer…. in Lisbon. After some complains they give you a an ice cover for the bottle, but come on. You don’t expect it from wine bar. Glass of wine starts from 6e to 15e or even more. 9-12 is an average. That’s not a normal price for a glass of warm wine. Be careful, glasses can be damaged on the edge. Asked to replace one. Food is ok, just be prepared to wait until end of your bottle of wine. This kind of service should not survive in Lisbon this time. Improve or give a place to someone else.   We found this restaurant because we walked by and the food smelled so good we actually backtracked until we found the source. We weren’t disappointed and had the best meal of our trip so far.   Absolutely perfect experience. This is my second time in my 5-day visit to Lisbon. This is for sure a trendy & cozy place with vibrant food and good atmosphere. Recommend a lot! The staff are very nice and even though I had a confusion with my reservation one of later (due to the time difference), they had a table ready for me as soon as possible even though it was fully packed. Pours were generous, but I'd rather have better wine and less of it. Chairs and tables are so close to each other that I couldn't even get out of my seat without disturbing the next table.   I cannot say enough good things about this fabulous find. The food was so amazing, the we cancelled our dinner plans the following night and begged our way back for another reservation the next evening. Where to begin... First off, the wine list! Both bottles we got were amazing! Secondly, the food! The chef! Must tries are the goat cheese rolls with mint and honey, as well as the crispy pork belly! And for mains, the fish of the day was sea bass (my fave), and when we dined the second night, the Ribeye steak. Sooooo good! And, last but not least, the most handsome waiter in the world!   The first place my partner and I called into after arriving in Lisbon, and we absolutely loved it, making sure to come back a couple of days later. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, recommending nice wines for us and even giving us a couple of tips for places to eat.   This place was right opposite the Airbnb we were staying in. The place is small so reservations are highly recommended. The staff were generally very knowledgeable about the wines and suggested some really good ones. My wife also ordered a shrimp appetizer which she thought was well made.   Nice place run by very friendly people. It's down to earth and casual, but still holds a high standard. The staff is very helpful and come with recommendations if you have a hard time navigating the wine list. I didn't feel that they tried to sell you items on the menu, they were more interested in ensuring that the guests had a good time. They even recommende that we order in rounds so we wouldn't end up with too much food. Nice selection of wines that pairs well with the food. The food was very well done with fun twists on dishes like the portuguese fish and chips which is fried sardins with sweetpotato fries. This keeps the menu fresh and modern. We ordered a few different share plats and enjoyed them all. Good taste and textures all around. Ended up going there two times during our week long visit to Portugal.   We happened upon this restaurant walking home late one night and booked for the next day because of how welcoming Julio and Esteban were. We had the most amazing time! Julio taught us all about different wines while his wife Gaby cooked us dish after dish of mouth-watering deliciousness. The pork belly was to die for. The sausage cooked over an open flame and the breaded goat cheese with wine pairing were sensational. The home-made basil ice cream with chocolate coulant was a perfect end to a delightful evening.   We had an amazing time in Antiga. Food was delicious (I recommend seafood platter). Interior is cosy and all wine bottles on the walls make you feel your are sitting in the wine cellar.   We’ve sought out the best food across Porto and Lisbon. Tonight we end our epic trip across Portugal at Antiga Wine Bar and we were not disappointed. Let’s just say - we received stellar wine recommendations (try the house red) and got a winner. Plus, amazing Octopus terrine is a must ( my dad who is from Busan, South Korea and knows seafood, approved wholeheartedly). If you can’t choose, the special Seafood board is a great option. Codfish cake… the oyster and the sauce… our family cleaned up. Would come back for the Portuguese dishes, but you must try all the seafood. When I’m doubt, ask Estavao for recommendations.   This place was so good I forgot to take any photos. We stumbled across it by chance looking for some desserts and wine. We had the most amazing chocolate coulant (molten lava cake) and Porto wine, and we’re coming back in a couple of days for food. People who work there are very friendly and fun which is a bonus. Edit: We did come for food again, and it was as good as I thought it would be. We got a few starters and vinho verde. The portions are quite big, so we ended up leaving very full.
