  My friend and I had such a good time, the bartender (and I believe, co-owner) Jaõ was so nice, funny and welcoming, contributing so much to the great atmosphere in the bar. This very relaxed and joyful ambiance allowed us to have great conversations with several people, and we stayed way longer than we had originally anticipated! The musician Pablo (guitar + voice) was amazing, we loved to sing along with him and even danced at the end! Probably the best highlight on my trip in Lisbon! So much joy there!   This place is a real hidden gem in Bairro Alto. Great for traditional Portuguese flavors dishes as well as some great drinks. It's like a real cozy and inviting gastro bar.   What a fantastic little place. The staff are absolutely fantastic and that makes this place. It’s only small and it gets very busy but I’ve never seen service like this ever. Literally when you get down to your last inch of beer the barman is there sorting your next one out. Great live music and when there’s not there’s a selection of great tunes inspired by the crowd!   A fantastic bar. All the reviews are true. In fact it's even better! A wonderful atmosphere is created by João, who is an awesome and attentive owner, and his staff who are in a similar mold. It makes talking to some of the other customers very easy. We ordered the octopus, salmon and cheese tapas. All were lovely, especially the salmon. We will definitely be back on our next trip.   I went here almost exactly a year ago. I was staying at an Airbnb right above the bar so it was almost too convenient. The owner immediately greeted us and sat us next to some guys visiting from England. The owner saw us enjoying ourselves and continued to bring us shots. We eventually headed out to a club together.   This last trip was my second time in Lisbon and second time at the jam club. My first time there was one of the best nights I’ve ever had at a bar, anywhere. The jam club was part of the magic of Lisbon and why I wanted to visit the city again. When I went for the second time I knew it was going to be awesome but was skeptical if the second time was going to be as great. I was so wrong to be skeptical. The second time around was just as awesome, if not better. They know how to make you feel like family and get everyone else to feel the same towards each other.   For our last evening in Lisbon we wanted a safe bet and by looking at reviews decided to go to Jam Club for dinner. Once there we got a warm welcome by João, and all the rest of the staff. We were introduced to other guests by João, who clearly wanted everyone to have a really good time. After we had enjoyed a wonderful dinner, accompanied by live music we were offered their own dessert-shot, in the style of a Pastel de nata. What were supposed to be a quick dinner with some drinks, ended up being a long and wonderful evening. We met some really great people and made new friends, all thanks to the staff making sure everyone was having the time of their life. If I can recommend just one thing about Lisbon, it is a visit to this place. We went there for the food, but stayed for the people.   This place is amazing and the owner, Joao, is the ultimate host! I wish I would have stopped in before my last night in town, because I would definitely be back. Joao kept the drinks flowing, while introducing everyone, making sure we were all having fun while live music played. I went due to a recommendation to try the octopus and hummus, which was REALLY good (I would just ask for less or no cilantro next time).   The guitarist Pablo Gadea is just so fun to jam with!!! He can play any song you request, even if he’s never heard it before (he just looks it up online and listens to the music on YouTube then plays along). The energy here is amazing and if you like to sing on the microphone, go for it!!! The owner Joao is crazy friendly and memorizes what country every guest is from, so if you come more than once he’ll remember your nationality. And the bartender Mourie is very smooth and fast with the drinks. This place was cool I kept coming back every night during my trip to Lisbon. They make you feel like family here. Highly recommend.   AMAZING bar in Lisbon! From the moment you walk in, Joao the owner, makes you feel so welcome. He is great at introducing you to other people in the bar, and making sure you have a great experience. I went several times and there was live music by a very talented musician and singer. He played all sorts of music and cover songs that appealed to everyone there. The vibe and atmosphere is always good no matter what day of the week you visit.   This place was absolutely amazing. The staff were so personable and the owner was super engaging. We ordered the salmon tapas, octopus tapas, a tuna melt, and the 3 cheese board.   This is the best bar in Lisbon hands down. When you arrive you’ll feel at home with how the staff take care of you! It’s super small and intimate and there’s live music every night, sometimes Brazilian music, sometimes singalongs, they have everything. The host is always mingling different groups of people so you will make loads of new friends in just one evening! The food and drinks are amazing and you’ll party til the early hours in there. We literally look for a "Jam Club" in every city we've been to, since coming here, because it was so friendly, with fantastic drinks and food. So far, nowhere has come close!   Spent a Saturday evening there 8pm until closing at 2am. I usually struggle to be convinced to stay out past 11! Overall the atmosphere was great, live music and the tables are close so you got talking with the group next to you. Joao the host was great at his job and super friendly making everyone feel welcome. We had a platter, red wine and sangria all night for two of us and it came to 56 euros which I thought was great.   Simply amazing experience! Great music and musicians, super nice staff and pretty good cocktails. Their food is fine as well. The owner struck me as a bit over the top at first, but was I wrong in my estimate, after he surprised me in a very positive way the second time we visited. He made a few mistakes after taking our order and, as an excuse, he promptly offered a generous refund. I couldn't talk him out of it.   Paulo and the staff are brilliant, so welcoming and friendly. The bar has a great atmosphere and talented musicians play songs on guitar. We didn’t eat the food but it looked good, drinks very reasonably priced. This is a great bar and I’d recommend to anyone visiting or living in Lisbon.   Amazing hospitality. The lady serving was delightful and very courteous. They are used to traveled and tourists, and staff speak multiple languages. We were served 2 free shots of alcohol, as we're other patrons. Live music is amazing, 6hrs of live music played. Food: we had the chacutierie board, which was a lot and good value for money.   LOVE this spot. Went almost every night we were in town! Small, cozy and great live music. Bartenders are amazing. One of them found out I had lived in Austria and introduced us to an Austrian group that was there before we knew it we had a crew of young, fun loving people from all over the world (US, Austria, Spain, Brazil, etc.) put together.   Me and my wife were searching for a live music bar for a couple of drinks. We've ended up spending our whole night in this fantastic place. João is a showman hostess.   100% the best bar in Lisbon! The second you walk in the door João and his staff greet you like you are family. He is the funniest and kindest man I have ever met. We randomly decided to go to Jam Club and genuinely had one of the best nights of our lives. Delicious food and drinks! Made friends with everyone in the bar and ended up staying all night.
