  Very delicious. I had the Pita with Tzatziki for 7€ and the greek salad for 12,50€. The tzatziki was as I anticipated good. The greek salad was the highlight however. I have never eaten anything like it. Very special. It came with a feta creme and capers! Very fragrant dressing. However the portion was quite small. More like a side salad. I was still hungry afterwards. They truly deliver quality over quantity. I will still come back. Too good! And very different from the greek restaurants in Germany.   I had a very nice lunch at Kefi, even if it's Saturday it was not too crowded. I liked a lot the quinoa salad, and we also took the moussaka (the one with meat it was better then the veg one).   Terrible service from certain staff members with slightly rude demeanor. We asked to be seated elsewhere after the location bothered us due to proximity to kitchen traffic. Had reservations. They didn’t seem capable of accommodating despite a bunch of open tables being present the entire time we were there. This alone motivated writing this negative review. Nothing to complain about the food other than portions were slightly underwhelming in size. Will not return and won’t recommend.   Basically, 4 guys on a group of 11 waited for their food for 1 hour! After 1 hour of wait, the waiter apologises and says that food will be in the table in 5-7minutes.. guess, what, it wasn’t! We had to wait more 30 minutes for our food!! One of the girls had a sauce in her place and couldn’t understand what it was, so the waiter “offered” to bring the sauce on the side for her to try.. guess, what… it wasn’t free 😵‍💫 Customer service is bad!! You don’t offer stuff to someone if you’re going to charge for it later, and besides that, waiting I don’t remember ever in my life to wait 1h30 at a restaurant for food!!   A few days ago we booked a table at Kefi to enjoy a romantic evening as a couple. We booked for 19.30h with Kefi's notice that we can stay for a two hour window until 21.30h. When we arrived, the waiter came very fast and wanted to take our order. We told that we need a few more minutes, when two other waiters came by and asked the same question. After our order, the food arrived and it was delicious (but small portions). However, we were more than disappointed that after 1.30h (at 21.00h) the waiter came to our table to ask if we need anything else and to give us directly the bill to pay. As we were still enjoying our dessert/tea, it was more than disappointing to indirectly give us the sign to leave after 1.30h.   The Greek food here is amazing. We actually went here twice in three days. Service is very good as well and the staff are very friendly. It’s right on the E-28 line and very close to the Jardin Estrela park which is a perfect place to have a couple beers by the pond after your meal.   Best Greek Experience outside from Greece. I’ve been to many Greek restaurants in Europe and I have to say that this is the best place if you’re not in Greece. The dishes are a mixture of authentic Greek plates with a modern touch (like the souvlaki with grilled avocado and asparagus). The starters are amazing and good to share. Best thing was the dessert as it was surprisingly unique. We had the loukomades with honey and rosemary (a must!), big portion and very easy to share. The atmosphere was super nice and the design extremely aesthetic. Staff was super nice, especially the guy with the British accent. We will come back!! You should reserve a table before but we had the chance to pop in for 90 minutes before the next table was booked. Food came fast from the kitchen even though it’s straight from the oven. Os pratos são uma mistura de autênticos pratos gregos com um toque moderno (como o souvlaki com abacate grelhado e aspargos). As entradas são incríveis e boas para compartilhar. A melhor coisa foi a sobremesa, pois era surpreendentemente única. Comemos os loukomades com mel e alecrim (obrigatório!), porção grande e muito fácil de compartilhar. O ambiente era super agradável e o design extremamente estético. A equipe foi super simpática, especialmente o cara com sotaque britânico. Nós vamos voltar!! Você deveria reservar uma mesa antes, mas tivemos a oportunidade de aparecer por 90 minutos antes que a próxima mesa fosse reservada. A comida veio rápido da cozinha, embora tenha saído direto do forno.   Great atmosphere and the staff was very nice! For the price range I was expecting the amount of food to be bigger We had the Greek fries and the tzatziki with pita first and they both were amazing!   Such a charming restaurant with excellent Greek food. We walked up but it was busy, being lunch time, so I made a reservation via Google for 2:30. We had plenty enough time to walk back to our hotel. It was worth the wait! We were seated in a window sill seat. Perfect! We were waited on immediately and the three waitstaff rotated around throughout our relaxing hour-long stay. No rushing here! All spoke perfect English. Linda ordered Moussaka and I ordered Frango Souvlaki. Also had an excellent Portugal brewed APA, Frank APA (named for Frank Zappa). The food was incredibly delicious and fresh-out-of-the-kitchen. The atmosphere was a comfortable busy-relaxed with excellent music playing in the background. Never felt rushed. The waitstaff checked on us regularly. We are expats living in Lagos and came up to Lisbon for the weekend. We will return to eat here next visit! I highly recommend Kefi Greek Bistro but suggest making a reservation to ensure you get in!   I am so disappointed by this place. I called them to reserve space for me and my Greek friends, we wanted to celebrate the national day in a place with Greek food. I call them at 2 PM to ask the availability of the place and they told me the place has 20 seats available. I send them an email as they asked but no response. I call them again on 6:30 PM and i got finally a guy that can communicate and I booked tables for 15 people. At 7 PM i get a call that the tables will be separate, something i didn't have any problem with. At 8:30 PM i receive a 6 hours late reply to my email telling me that the place does not accept groups larger that 8-10 on Fri,Sat,Sun which they just made up from their minds. I understand that i had to make a reservation 2-3 days earlier and i would understood a no from the beginning. At 10 PM i receive a phone call to my phone that my reservation is cancelled and the only available is 5 seats which makes no sense to cancel my reservation i already made.   Very nice restaurant with great variety of Greek food. I'd recommend Saganaki for starter, Greek Salad and Spanakopita for main dishes, and Loukoumades for dessert.   I loved the vibe and the staff were great but unfortunately the food let it down. The veggie moussaka was mushy and didn't taste like any moussaka I've ever had before. The souvlaki was okay but nothing too exciting. Unfortunately a bit of a letdown. We also had the courgette fritters which were okay but again a bit underwhelming.   Good place for new flavors. But watch out! The location and atmosphere are great. The place is small, not that many tables, which make you feel more comfortable somehow. Try getting a table close to the window; I believe they are the best ones for groups or a couple. I've never been to Greece, so I can’t comment on the decoration being “Greek”. The service was good. Very easygoing and friendly. Initially, we had different people, but later, it was only one, which facilitated the whole thing—we were a big group. Food-wise, it was a mixture of feelings. The starters are delicious. The white cream with cucumber was delicious. Try it with the bread; they were the highlight for me. The main dishes are a mixture of feelings. The food was good but not outstanding. Portions are small and missed a bit of flavor—not sure if geek food is, in fact, like that. The meatballs were slightly dry and felt like there was not enough purée. The octopus was good, but I wouldn’t say I liked much the combustion with the tomatoes. Desserts were a sort of discovery for me. Never imagine myself eating a chocolate cake with olive oil on top, or a cheesecake that doesn’t look or even taste like a cheesecake, or donuts with chocolate that were almost nothing sweet. The dessert highlight was the donuts with ice cream and honey. All of them were new things for me, but this was the highlight. Overall, a good experience. Not excellent, but good.   Kefi is an oasis of calm a short walk from the Jardim da Estrela. The building is gorgeous with stunning stone walls and the decor has a stripped back feel that highlights its best features. The music is eclectic and laid back, the staff are just lovely and the food - ah, the food! Everything on the menu sounds inviting and there are lots of healthy options. The dishes are a feast for the eyes too as they are beautifully presented. The chicken souvlaki was wonderful and we'd love to come back to enjoy it again and sample some of the other items from their menu.   Incredibly rude staff. The woman with the nose ring saw our 15 month old daughter and made up that we couldnt be seated claiming they were full. This was at 1900 which is quite early for lisbon and half the tables were empty. When we walked back that way 30 minutes later there were even more empty tables. Looking at other reviews this is a common theme that the restaurant doesn't seem to want or need to address. Most places and people in lisbon are super accommodating with children, clearly not here.   The food is decent, but not great! I tried the tzatziki, saganaki cheese and for main a pork souvlaki. As I am Greek ,I have to give props for the starters bit the main was far from authentic! Also, the portion was really small, especially compared to its price!! 2 starters, 1 main and 2 beers cost me 37€!!! People please!! You have to reconsider your prices!   I have been at a kefi several times before and today was disappointing. Food was OK but the service was not. Coffee arrived cold, some tables got water automatically we had to ask for it, the waiters do not keep eye contact with the customers, you need to wave frantically to get their attention.   Went here so many times, and I've seen so many improvement about the food, especially for the greek salad. Because the other time too much cucumber, and the other time too salty. But now, it's delicious. And good job for that. But for the souvlaki (this time we ordered the chicken, and the other time the pork one), both meat were so dry. The calamari is still the best for me. Always crunchy and well cooked. The pita bread also my favorite but it's a pitty that the portion they gave it's too small comparing the amount of the sauce.   An absolutely perfect lunch! We live in Lisbon and this was the best experience we have had in a long time. There are so many wonderful looking options on the menu it was hard to decide, but we went with the main dishes of chicken skewers and salmon skewers to share. They were perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned and accompanied by very tasty and creatively prepared sides including crispy fries, grilled avocado, fried quinoa and asparagus with yogurt sauce.   One of the nicest Sunday afternoons I’ve had in a while! I came here with a couple of friends and we ordered a few dishes to share (I’d recommend mixing the small dishes and entrees). Every dish was beautiful and carefully curated - even the olives were infused in olive oil and lemon zest (yum!). Definitely the Greek Meatballs was our favourite dish, but we loved everything we ordered. The restaurant itself is so cozy, beautiful, well lit and is busy but not too loud!   This lunch was a great surprise! Not only the atmosphere is really pleasant, full of light, simple and modern Mediterranean decor, a very sympathetic service from all the 3 girls we had contact with. And the food... We had calamari as a starter, perfect sized, very well fried with yoghurt and fennel sauce (an interesting variation of the calamari sauce) and as main course I had the salmon which was perfectly cooked and seasoned and fried quinoa which I had never had and it is so good because it adds an unexpected crunchiness to the whole food. Again, simple good but perfectly seasoned, quality ingredients and really tasteful. Can't wait to come again for dinner.   As half Greek sometimes I miss the real Greek food so I was excited to try this place. Even if the owners aren't Greek they use 80% of the products directly from Greece and they learn how to cook the Greek way. The atmosphere made me feel like I was in a typical "Kykladitiko" style restaurant. The food was really good, the koulouri, pork souvlaki, the feta in the oven and all the sauces ( tzatziki, melitzanosalata and tirokafteri) were really tasty and I recommend them for sure. The only exception is gemista ( I didn't took the picture of this plate) that was way too much fill with erbs that we weren't able to eat it. The overall experience was great and I will return for sure.   My husband and I stumbled upon Kefi today while exploring Lisbon and were immediately drawn in by the gorgeous interior. Whoever designed this restaurant deserves major props; it is stunning. Though we originally intended to just have a drink then stick to our original dinner plans, that idea flew out the window as soon as we saw the menu and our wonderful server encouraged us to explore some items. We couldn't be happier that he convinced us! Each dish and drink that we had was phenomenal - so fresh and unique. Be sure to give Kefi a visit then stroll through the nearby park for a wonderful dinner in this beautiful city.
