  A little off the beaten tourist path but truly a special place. The couple who runs this spot does a great job of making it cozy. The food is spectacular- I especially loved the tofu and sweet potatoes (I don’t normally enjoy tofu but this was some of the best) and the molten lava chocolate cake was so yummy. Also one of the best lattes we had. Good for breakfast and dinner. Don’t think twice, come to instant crunch! Our waitress was so helpful when it came to our food choices and our children said they made the best hot chocolate.   I'm not a brunch fan but this place was "óptimo". Food was delicious and the service was top-notch. I looked at the menu online and saw that they had tapas which I specifically wanted to try the chouriço. The server explained that the tapas were not part of the brunch but went above and beyond to serve us the chouriço. The small cozy ambiance was a delight too.   One of our best experiences in Lisbon! Like most of the gems in Lisbon, it's not surprising to have found them while walking uphill. The modest entrance masks a romantic, cozy back yard that is ideal for an intimate date night of flavors and sensations. Every single dish was spot on. We tried to take photos of our plates but they were gone before we remembered to actually take the photos. The presentation is esthetic and plates are small enough to fill you up while sampling but are also great to share and try your partner's choices. You definitely want to try out the next item on the menu and the next. The owners/operators are a wonderful French couple that made their home here in Lisbon. So, as foreigners ourselves, visiting, it was easy to relate and recognize how all these different details add up to make perfect sense on a plate. If I wasn't clear enough I highly recommend dining at Instant Crunch, Lisbon. You'll see attached a few of the dishes we did get a photo of, but we had to stop ourselves to do that, so don't mind the fork and the spread sauce (it was awesome).   This is an oasis in the middle of a very chaotic city of travelers. The two people who run it are so kind. They have a nice little courtyard setting with cute little touches that put you in a good mood. The food was really good. Not kidding.   I’ve only been to their brunch so can’t speak to their dinner. Cute little cafe/brunch spot with a nice outdoor garden space tucked in the back. Nice and chill ambience. Big portion sizes, where each dish has a nice combination of different flavors that pair very nicely together. Their “sol oasis” shakshuka is solid, and comes with two lovely homemade pieces of foccacia, a goat cheese&argula salad, and a yogurt with granola and all for €14. I was stuffed. Their coffee needs some work, tasted very watery but the waitress was super accommodating and sweet and fixed it by topping it off with an espresso shot.   So happy that we discovered this place! We had brunch here one day and immediately came back the next day.   A disappointing experience. I literally have no idea how this place has a 4.9 rating. It is absolutely ridiculously low quality. The inside of the restaurant has a heavy food smell, the sangria was very poor and served in a water glass!!!   We usually plan out where we're going to eat on vacation, but we spontaneously stopped in at Instant Crunch for dinner just because we liked the view and it was a quiet place with outdoor seating. It ended up being our best meal in Lisbon! My wife and I shared several appetizers, all of which were very tasty, and a bottle of wine. Very reasonably priced, great service, and a lovely little garden atmosphere. The chef is a true artist and the lady is a caring host. Food is mostly organic and presentation is marvellous. The level of detail and skill they put into their dishes are extraordinary, seeing as the vibe is very laid back and comfortable. Service is super friendly and attentive by one of the owners who both obviously put their heart into this place. The shortest version possible is a big Wow! To be in Instant Crunch is worth every second of your time. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. I felt like in a spa for body and mind. My favorite one (if there can name any at all) was the „Salty Bonbon“, thin dough filled with ham and cheese. Hard to believe, you think? You should give it a shot. The service was completely subpar and I was the only person in the whole restaurant — not a single other person or table to serve.
