  This place is fully halal Middle Eastern restaurant which we found when we arrived in Lisbon. We had: ▪️Hummus - this was smooth, delicious and creamy. The flavour was on point and the waem bread it comes with was super fresh. ▪️Moajanat Jebneh - these were like mini calzones. They were smaller than expected but scrumptious morsels nonetheless. ▪️Sopa de Lentilha - my friend had this lentil soup. She said it was very good, a decent portion size and wonderful flavour. It teams well with the fresh bread and the lentils have a good bite. ▪️Shish Tawook - the chicken was cooked well but had a very subtle flavour. The ricr was unexpectedly spiced but tasty and added the missing flavour to the dish. Fries were good too, pretty standard. Lol btw asking for chilli sauce was interesting as they give like a chimichurri sauce with only a bit of heat, didn't really add much. Overall we really enjoyed, the staff were friendly and food was delightful. If you're ever in Lisbon and in need of halal food, I'd defo recommend checking them out.   Looked great in pictures and was looking forward to food. Constant draft from the door made an uncomfortable seating, food was average and bland, food was just reheated and not fresh, really expensive for what they serve up. Only reason giving 3 not 2 star because owner listened to complaint and showed me around kitchen after complaining about reheated food served. Offered complimentary green tea. Would avoid.   In one day and a half and with Adel’s help I was able to organize my girlfriend’s surprise party for 40 people. He was tireless to make everything perfect, always willful and happy to help and please, and this included live lute music. We had a great dinner and all guests loved it.   The food looked amazing on the photos but probably it being a Monday, the food was all reheated and nothing was fresh, except the bread. That might have also been reheated as well. I bet that it was leftovers from the weekend. The pastry bread was stale, like when it is reheated in the microwave. Rice was dry and was crunchy. Everything was very dry. In comparison to the photos, the food is probably fresh on the weekend but leftovers are served on Monday/Tuesday. We were saddened by this since we took a taxi across the city and were very excited to try this place. The owner was very kind. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere.   I love this place. Coming here feels more like being a guest in someone's house than being a customer in an establishment. We spent almost 4 long, chill, unhurried hours on a very hot afternoon, having amazingly flavourful food, drinking tea and smoking shisha, all in an ambience that transported us far from Lisbon.   Based on the reviews I decided to try it out. I love Lebanese food a lot. Aways rich with flavor and super tasty. The tamarind drink was nice and fresh. But unfortunately very disappointed with my dish at Jaffa. The rice was undercooked, the lamb chops burned and undercooked. Send it back and they were very friendly and accommodating.   We were very excited to eat some Arabic food, but we were very disappointed. The food is tasteless and the portions are very small, not proportionate at all with the cost.
