  I’m a regular costumer and the food is always good and the place is nice, but unfortunately this time we had some problems with the beverages. At first, I ordered a natural orange juice but it had a very strong and acidic taste and when I asked if it was freshly squeezed they told me no. Finally, I ordered an Long black but it was very very weak. And, about the orange juice, the waiter told me that you made in the morning for the rest of the day.. Was clear.. was not squeezed fresh!   Basic trendy cafe without interesting character or speciality. Chain restaurant inspired decoration with music. I went there for breakfast. I saw the review point was 4.8 and wanted to try. However it was not that good. The ingredients weren't special or good quality, I believe it's the main necessity to have for brunch restaurant. The sausage wasn't actually edible. And bacon was burned ( they replaced with the uncooked one after we said it's burnt). Preparation took a bit too long for a breakfast. Inside was full of people, thought it is a good sign but it was overloaded in a small area. I didn't want to write bad review as you can see their intention is good. However I felt deceived with their point and they charged extra for the replacement of gluten free bread, it wasn't even a whole slice bread. So it was bad attitude for me and I am disappointed.   Great little spot! Cute decor and clean. It’s a bit pricey for an every day visit but lovely for weekends/special fun day.   I had mixed feelings about this restaurant. I liked the service and the drinks. However I personally felt like the Sweet Confession was a let down. It needed something else inside it as it was simply a Nutella like chocolate with pistachios on top, so when you had finished eating the top you were left with a lot plain pancakes. It just needed something else. I felt quite sick afterwards. The salmon in the Black Jack was also quite red and I did not really feel like it was cut or presented in a particularly appealing way.   Nice place, a bit off the beaten path but if you are close by, this is a good place for brunch! Bus 713 stops right outside so good connection with Estrella, Rato, Amoreiras etc. Food: I had the cheezy - cheeze waffles with scrambled eggs, avocado and candy bacon. Delicious! The waffles had a beautiful color, enough crunch and softness, flavor of cheese but not overwhelming. The little lemon flavor over the avocado was marvellous. The bacon was too sweet for me, but it was cool to try it. Very good! However when received the food my acai bowl was frozen, which i did send back then I got a new one, but it did not taste the best.   After sitting to allow ample space between myself and the groups on either side of me, I was asked to move so the table I was sitting at would be open to accommodate a table of 4. The restaurant was mostly empty, with plenty of other available tables and spaces (2 open tables for parties of 4, and 5 for parties of 2). That was annoying and honestly ruined my entire experience, especially because shortly after I was asked to move, the space I was originally sitting was offered to another solo party, so yea… super annoying. The decor was cool, and the food was okay. I had the churro waffles; they were tasty, nice texture, but too sweet not to be paired with anything such as fruit or something of that sort to break up the intense sugar bomb that the waffles are and also pricey for 2 palm sized waffles (€7.20). All in all decent spot, could be better 🤷🏽‍♀️. The server with the short blonde haircut was very kind.   Excellent food! Friendly service. Downside: The kitchen was out of a lot of ingredients when we went and they couldn’t prepare any of the first few things we tried to order. Hopefully they will shrink their menu or do something else to solve the issue!   Delicious! Absolutely lovely ambiance and staff! The menu was very nice, it had great options and they were all fast options! We ordered different burgers and changed some toppings, they were super nice about it and the burger was exactly as we asked for. Everything was great!   The food was excellent, we came here twice during our trip. Not to mention the service was fantastic. Anastasia had a great sense of humor and made good suggestions for beaches to visit. She even brought out a special hot sauce that was extra hot to my liking and waiting to see me explode, however, I took it like a champ and she was shocked!   I went there with much higher expectations as per the google maps score. The highlight was the excellent service and lovely staff. The food was good, but certainly not much special for what I opted for. A chicken burger and some guacamole. The space itself lacks an outdoor or terrace and the interior design probably lacks a bit of cosiness. Just another good option in Lapa but not in my top 10.   It was really nice experience. For now, my favorites are Eggs Royale and cappuccino with a coconut milk for breakfast and cheeseburger for lunch.
