  You know the place is good when you arrive fifteen minutes before opening and already a line has formed. Run by a group of high energy young people who seemed to be always dashing from table to kitchen and back. Drink order taken and delivered in short order. Seemed like we were waiting a bit long for the food but that was no problem as the placemats encouraged us to leave a sketch so we did. I ordered the Coyote which comes with bacon and onion rings and it was quite tasty, sloppy but tasty. The accompanying french fries were good too. My missus had the 1472 (?) and it was also very good. A bit cramped in the dining room but that's not a big deal either since we were quite busy eating.   I had the vegetarian burger with roasted pumpkin. It is very dry as there is just small amount of yogurt and no other sauce, but the ingredients taste good and it is a creative combination of flavors. The salad was really huge and tasted amazing, but I would once again appreciate a little bit more of the dressing for such big salad.   We got there around 1 and had to wait only like 5 minutes and they could only fit us(5 ppl) outside which I didn’t mind! So it is quite busy so be prepared. The food was absolutely delicious the entire family loved their burgers. Beware you do have to pay at the desk inside so don’t ask for the bill at the table like we did. They speak English great in case some of you are worried and there are English menus for any tourists. The servers are very friendly. Definitely recommend!! Ended up coming here a second time, they recognized us and still fantastic.   We came here because of the good review score, even tried to give the benefit of the doubt when something wasn't exact, but by the end we were quite disappointed. Our burgers were not made according to the cooking instructions of well done. The burgers are unevenly cooked, with some parts absolutely Raw. All the reviews are accurate here about how salty the burgers are. When we asked for it to go box they said they don't have any. When we asked if we could wrap it in something they brought us the paper dinner mat. That kind of just did it for us. I had to go back there and say surely you've got foil at least to wrap it in and then they gave us foil. But no take out bag, no take out box. All in all a pretty disappointing experience.   We went there because of the reviews of people having had 'the best burgers of their life' :-) Unfortunately the experience was not up to par. Being burger fans, we were expecting the meat to be perfect, but despite the fact that it was overcooked (not medium as we asked), they mixed bread as 'filling' into the patty, probably to reduce meat quantity and the costs, and put copious amounts of onion and salt into the meat. The overall taste of the product wasn't horrible, we ended up eating the entire thing, but one expects not to find bread, onion, or other 'accessories' mixed into the burger meat. The fries were not that great since they could have been more crunchy and the garlic mayo was not that intense. But still one of the best burger places we tried in Ponta Delgada.   Had their Campos vegetarian burger with sweet potato crisps. Veggie burger was one of the worst I've ever had. No flavour just a singular mushroom taste, with mushy texture. Crisps were also like eating cardboard: no seasoning, which would have been especially necessary when using a sweet potato that isn't quite sweet (no seasoning on the tables either). Their service was cheerful and as rapid as they could, and they listened to my feedback when given. That said, I won't be coming back.   I'm always on the hunt for a special burger and i have been to many Restaurants that claimed to make the best burger anywhere. Supléxio is definitely worth a visit, it's a very fine burger, quite firm and nothing is falling apart and it's still not dry. This is not easy to achieve, so kudos! The sauces are delicious and the buns are also absolutely fine. However, we got asked how we wanted our patty and we both went for medium. What we got was close to raw which was still edible but just a bit too...primal. The fried egg on my Special couldve used some seasoning (same as the fries but i think this is azorean style, they weren't seasoned anywhere) We did see other people with the same kind of patty and we also saw people with patties that were well done. Just be prepared for that, if you don't want your patty almost raw you should probably go for well done. Like i said, still edible and the quality of the meat was great, so overall not a tragedy. It did sour the experience slightly though. Good Burger, nice people, exceptional lemonade. Can recommend!   We had the olive tapenade with mini toasts (4/5), mozzarella sticks (5/5), lemon iced tea (5/5), passion fruit iced tea (4/5), Jerry burger (5/5) with fries (4/5) and the embaixador burger (3/5) with sweet potato chips (5/5). Service was excellent, staff are friendly, food was great. My favourites were the lemon iced tea (not grossly sweet) and the mozza sticks, husband's fav was the Jerry burger. The embaixador burger was done well, it just wasn't my favourite I think because of the sweetness of the honey mustard sauce, but that's to be expected. We've eaten a lot of seafood on our trip and this was a nice change. Would highly recommend going right when they open, or earlier - we got there as soon as they opened their doors at noon, and were able to snag a table. There was a lineup of people waiting to get in shortly after. They are not open every day and they close after lunch, before opening again for dinner service.   Really good IPA beer, the waiter noticed the beer I orderer did not seem right just by the way the foam formed when he poured it and told me to hold on and changed it right away. They are really knowledgeable about their products and make sure what you get is at the level they expect it to be. The price is right for the size of the burgers and the beers. We took an entrée of mozarella sticks, and for the burgers, we took the Imperador and the El Chapo. The suplexio sauce in the Imperador was really good, and made it our favorite from the 2 we ordered. Staff extremely friendly and really take care of the customers. There is a reason why there always a line up, it's because it's one of the best place to eat around!   Was there today around 145pm, you wait outside for a table, moved really quickly. The hamburgers were fantastic, made to order. We ordered the 3 different ones all cooked medium. The meat was so juicy and drinks were cold. Yummy! Highly recommend. This is day one in Ponte Delgada and we already plan to go back. Update: we went back for dinner on last night (tuesday). We were in line at 706pm and there was an hour and half wait already. Totally worth the wait. We were seated around 830pm. The food again was amazing! Advice, go early for dinner and wait.   Long queue for nothing. The lone staff serving the dozen or so tables seemed stressed and angry, missed some orders and mixed up others. The burgers that came were below average IMHO. The brioche were lukewarm and squished. One burger in particular had mushrooms and onions placed directly onto the bottom brioche, causing the bread to get all soggy from the moisture. The patties were fresh and thick (the kind I preferred), but cooked inconsistently (we ordered medium rare, but one came out medium well), and all lacked the very important charred surface related to the Maillard reaction. Some of the combinations were also odd, such as putting almond flakes with Roquefort and bacon jelly such that the flakes are completely overpowered. The French fries were lukewarm and stale. The sweet potato fries and salad, on the other hand, were fresh and good. We left feeling puzzled as to why people would queue for this. (Traduzido pelo Google) Longa fila para nada.   Our server André was absolutely amazing. We arrived 5 minutes before closing time and he accommodated us.   Amazing place! We were able to grab a table for 5 shortly after they opened however we clearly lucked out as the place was very popular and for good reason! The burgers and beers were awesome for both quality and selection! The staff were very friendly, they accommodated a food allergy, provided help with the beer list, and their service was incredibly fast!   Overall it was okay. I think I was expecting amazing from all the reviews. I asked for well done but it came out medium and my friend’s medium was rare. She liked it though. I got the azorean one with pineapple. It was very sweet and the bread was good but really rich all together. The meat too was falling apart and a little too moist for me. I didn’t really like the texture. Definitely didn’t taste like a griddled burger from the US. Which I think is fine, that’s not what this place is but just wanted to note that. The fries were cold and bland. My friend liked the walnut cheese burger and to be honest hers looked much better than mine with toppings piled high. I just had a little dollop of the pineapple jam on my bread. The lemonade was good. The waiter had a bit of a rude attitude in his voice but overall it was a fine experience.   Like many other places in PDL, they don’t take reservations, although their burgers are the best ones I’ve had in São Miguel. You have to either be there as soon as they open or be happy with waiting for a long time. Also, one of the waiters said they only had two beers when asked, so we went with their draft IPA - which was fine, nothing to write home about. While waiting in line to pay, I noticed they had a separate menu with many other beers from other breweries. Another waiter asked if we liked craft beer, to which we said yes, and he said he was sorry he didn’t know that because otherwise he’d have brought up the many other beers they had in their fridge.🤷🏻‍♀️ I would have gladly come back if only that didn’t mean waiting in line for a table.   Disappointing!!! Staff is agitated and clearly cant deal with the amount of clients. We toke the vegan options which came with no bun. The extra paid sweet potato chips are literally chips you buy in supermarket but costs extra then the regular offered French fries chips.   As an American I think I have some general experience in what a good burger is- this is a GREAT burger. Super well prepared, fresh. Not a ton of tables so try to get there before 7pm if you don’t want to wait. Also recommend the fresh squeezed juices. This is a fabulous find- high quality and great prices.   Good food. Nice atmosphere. Staff are very friendly if a bit forgetful. Do check your bill if they forgot drinks. But we'd definitely come back if we were in the area.   Great hamburger place. It's very small inside, so people were queueing before it opened at 7pm on Saturday. We barely managed to get a table but it was worth being so petty. Other people had to wait 45 minutes for the first tables to clear. We had 4 Açores Especial beers (€1.25 per bottle, 250cl) and two burgers (the "Embaixador" and the "1427" both equipped with the "sweet potato fries" upgrade) and paid under €20 for the whole experience. Both burgers were absolutely amazing. The sweet potato fries were more like crisps/chips, which was also very good except for it's hard to reach the bottom of the aioli shot glass. They also have vegetarian burgers. For your convenience, I included some (shoddy) photos of the menu and opening times. Service was good but while we came in prepared and ready to order, taking order was triaged by order of entry. I'd go here again but only if I knew I could just walk in and order a burger, so maybe not on a Saturday. Life's short and I am hangry. (Traduzido pelo Google) Ótima hamburgueria.   Amazing burgers. Quality ingredients prepared well and at a reasonable price. The staff throughout were friendly and accommodating. This is a popular location, so when we first arrived shortly before opening, there was already a line, and we were unable to get a table. Fortunately, they recently opened a bar upstairs where you can go, have a beer (from their great selection of craft) or wine, and relax while you wait for a table.   One of the best burgers I have ever had! The restaurant gets meat delivery prior to lunch and dinner. The patties are made by hand and due to this there are only a finite number and therefore at the end of each meal time, it’s possible for them to run out. The lines can be long so get there early, especially for dinner. My wife and I waited for 1 hour and were definitely not disappointed.
