  Really good vegan food, with very generous portions and restaurant had a really nice chilled atmosphere. Staff were lovely with our daughter (aged 6) bringing her a colouring in book and crayons and happy to make the nuggets without the spicy sauce for her. I had the seitan and veggie bacon burger which was really tasty and very filling. The house red was really good too!   If you are looking for vegan food in Porto, check out "kind kitchen". We ordered Seitan "steak" with mushroom sauce and the traditional Francesinha. Both dishes were very tasty and served by the friendly staff. We also had the alcohol free beer which is brewed in Germany. A recommendation. Check out their deserts too!   Fun vegan restaurant near the heart of Porto city centre. Really enjoyed my brunch meal here recently. Saw lots of locals dining so always a good sign. Welcoming to me as a solo diner. Reasonably priced. Decor is fresh and light. I had an Americano, the vegan francesinha and a small pint of Musa beer (Lisbon brewer). I was curious about the francesinha since the traditional Portuguese version is meat and cheese heavy. The Kind Kitchen version is substantial and delicious replacing meat with seitan zucchini and eggplant. It was wrapped in vegan cheese and came with a delicious tomato based sauce. There was also a side of crispy on the outside soft on the inside fries. Did not come either the usual fried egg (of course, being a vegan restaurant) but the dish didn’t need it. Super yummy and filling! The beer was a perfect light accompaniment. The Americano was strong but smooth. Serving team was young enthiusiastic and helpful.   It is nice that all menu is vegan. The menu has been the same or nearly the same for quite some time now. I was hoping for some new dishes. The food is fine, a bit on the fast food side, but you can also find healthy options. Desserts are good. Personally, I enjoy their peanut butter brownie.   Super good. We made reservations once but so long you aren’t eating at a busy eating time, you should be able to walk in and get a seat. We ate here three times and would have come back a fourth but they were closed New Year’s Day. The francesinha was top tier, though very heavy. The seitan burger is delicious, and the steak with fries was my favorite. Everything was fresh, hot, and tasty. My only advice would be to not get the nachos, they just don’t compare to the classic nachos you’d get in the US. They were fine, but I’d sooner get the soup of the day (also very delicious).   Food was ok but definitely expensive for the quality. I had the francesinha and it was very salty, after a while I couldn't taste anything else. One of the desserts we ordered was the cookie with coconut ice-cream, for some reason they thought placing the ice-cream on top of the cookie was a good idea, it was not. The cookie was soggy by the time it was served. 🥲 Another slight annoyance, was the fact there were a few people with young kids and the menu is not kid friendly. There's only some (very crunchy) tofu nuggets and oven fried potato wedges. Seems like they are aiming for a target audience that doesn't match the one they get (at least during lunch time).   Fantastic restaurant serving vegan food. Very affordable and delicious. In fact, it was so good we ate there 4 times during our stay in Porto! My personal favorite was the Francesinha sandwich, which was phenomenal. I also enjoyed the Bean & Mushroom burger as well as the Crispy Seitan & Bacon sandwich. Both the Thai bowl and the Middle East bowl were very good. The drinks menu is a bit limited but whatever cocktails they served were really good. We were very happy to see that the restaurant was quite busy; no surprise given the outstanding food. All staff were super friendly and everyone spoke very good English.   We got Beyond burger and Crispy bacon smth burger. Beyond is cool as it suppose to be, the latter is very good with a mix of seitan and well fried tofu, but both of them need to get rid of an insipid big slice of tomato. You get crispy really delicious fried potato with burgers! They don't have regular transnational brand beverages, only craft things, so I had to consume Fritz cola, which is just more expensive and less tasty IMO. The place itself, the staff are 5 of 5!   The food here looked nice indeed. However, it has been very disappointing that the place specifically points out glutenfree options and then is excluding coeliacs from that. I do understand to point out that there is no separate kitchen and that cross contamination with gluten can take place. Fair enough. But if glutenfree is marked on the menu, I would expect that they at least are aware about cross contamination and how to offer at least a simple option for a celiac. I don't get it. Why are you making the effort of buying glutenfree bread/flour and whatever and then i.e. not even buying glutenfree marked nachos OR if a coeliac comes by you could say "hey, of course there is always a risk, but we work very carefully and could offer you at least a salad".   Found this vegan place by coincidence, So decided to give it a go. I arrived a bit ahead of 6:30pm, so waited a bit before seated in and there’s no queue. But the restaurant was filled up pretty quickly after I sat down, I suggest going there at 6:30 pm sharp to avoid the queue. I had a Middle East bowl, with hummus and falafel, quinoa based and some pita bread. It’s delicious and quite filling. Plenty of other dishes I wanted to try, perhaps next time. I found this restaurant a bit cheaper than other vegetarian restaurants nearby. However, it’s a bit under staffed when it’s full. Only one server for an entire floor.   I had the “Tuna Melt” and it was really delicious (I forgot to take a picture which means a lot)! I was curious about this place for a long time!! I also tasted one of the burguers and it seemed different in a very tasteful way. I enjoyed the cheesecake but after a while it was hard to finish. The only downside was waiting to be served. I wanted to try the Francesinha ever since the first time I went to Porto and didn’t like it at all. I found it super greasy, fatty and not tasty. That version had animal meat so yea, maybe that’s why I didn’t like that one much 😄. This plant-based version was delicious!   Amazing Vegan food … so glad we found this gourmet Vegan spot. Not obvious or easy to find, narrow spot w not that many tables. There were a few people waiting outside to be seated. All items are 100% Vegan. So do not panic after seein “ cheese” “bacon” or “mayonnaise”!! Have had a very hard time finding Vegan restaurants in Lisbon and Porto —where more than 25% of items are 100% Vegan ( and most of 25% are salad or soup or beyond burgers). I ordered the fresh greens , cabbage, broccoli salad and the bean and mushroom burger with greens and cheese and side of potato wedges, and beverage-kombucha. Other person ordered Mexican bowl (black bean, tempeh, quinoa, guacamole, greens) and local Portugal brew, “Born in IPA”. Both choices exceeded all expectations. Absolutely perfect spot for all Vegans or those that like to incorporate some Vegan meals into their food choices. Excellent service. Clean. Upbeat. All tables filled with constant turnover: this means fresh food and good food because there were lots of customers when I ate at 1 pm Sunday. Now that I have tasted how awesome the chefs have mixed plant sources with spices and methods of cooking I know why people will wait for a meal. Must try Kind Kitchen! It was a few minute walk from our apartment in Porto, and the food was great. Lots of choices and beautifully prepared. We especially enjoyed the hummus and onion on a sourdough baguette (or something like that), that we ordered one for lunch and then another to take with us for another meal.   I looked this place up whilst out in Porto and was a little sceptical that we wouldn't be able to get a table. However we went here after our port tasting/tour and were seated right away. You can tell it would get full quickly as it's so small but I think we got lucky going on a quieter night. They've painted the roof (pictured) which I really enjoyed, and as I said it's very small but with bags of charm. Service was quick and with a smile - we are utterly spoilt by being English in that it is virtually never the case that we can't communicate for which I am eternally grateful. Food was exactly what I was expecting and delicious; it was a nice touch to add a traditional Portuguese dish to the menu in vegan style (it was also tasty).   Exceptional service, kind staff who were really patient with us as we didn’t speak Portuguese. The cold tea of the day was delicious and the mint lemonade so refreshing and not sweet and sickening like most versions elsewhere. Big portions and incredibly well priced.   I went here for lunch and had a really tasty Seitan burger with crispy potato wedges. The staff was attentive and very friendly. They do speak English.   I loved my experience at Kind Kitchen in Porto! They had an excellent vegan selection and it was all so delicious. The serving sizes were big and the price was great.   My partner and I ate dinner here a few days ago while staying in Porto. We had previously tried to eat here but the queue was too long (you cannot book a table). The green salad and vegan shrimp tacos we had to share as starters were very nice. The shrimps tacos were my favourite part of the meal. The Thai bowl I had as my main course was also good. My partner tried the Francesinha for his main which he thought tasted quite good albeit unusual, although probably not something he would order again as a dish in general. The meal and drinks were good value for money overall. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was quite bustly. Our table was a bit cramped in next to another table but it did not feel too intrusive. I would recommend this place to others.   Very, very good food. I'm not a vegetarian but I don't like greasy or heavy food, that's why vegeterian restaurants are good places for me to eat. Meals are fresh and crispy with different combinations of tastes.   We were excited to find this place open. With few days left in our trip to Porto, this restaurant was near the top of our tour. The mains and starter were good. The cheesecake was okay.   such a lovely place! the food was excellent. Really loved my mexican bowl, the sauce was bomb! The wedges were deliciously spiced. My friend had a burger which she enjoyed too. The portion was a bit big though. Nevertheless, fair prices for hearty dishes. The atmosphere there was welcoming & warm.
