We were lucky that Cúmplice team found a place for us the last minute but certainly it is better to book. Everything was top-notch: food, service, wines… I took pasta with seafood and though it was great I was sorry I didn’t go for meat like my friends had done, meat was divine, especially sirloin. A place to go to if you love good meat and are ready to pay a bit more for it. I’ll be back. This is probably the best restaurant in Porto during the whole trip in Porto. The food, service and environment is on topnotch . They do care all details and try to make everything perfect,welcome drink, hot plates for steak, very transparent and reasonable pricing. Highly recommend mushroom selections as starter which covers 7 different mushrooms with great taste sauce. You can’t miss ribeye premium steak (we tried also black angus sirloin but I prefer ribeye) and I love the coal grilled flavor. The chef knows very well how to grill steak for the best result. The beef is from local Portugal and I am surprised it is pretty good. The grilled vegetables is also very tasty, It is not just simply grilled with oil and salt but has very rich flavor with difference sauces. I understood from waiter that it is a young restaurant 2 years and 7 months, I have no doubt it will be a very successful restaurant in the long run. I don’t see the difference with a Michelin standard restaurant but maybe one picky advice is the complimentary table bread quality could be enhanced? Reservation for the table is recommended. What an amazing evening! Made all the more special by our host Veronica who is a Star! The food was superb: We wanted simple green salads to start and this was accommodated even though it was not on the menu. The steaks were beautiful, the filet and sirloin done just right. Sides were tasty, especially the grilled vegetables. To finish off, the tropical dessert hit just the right spot. But it might have only been a very nice meal were it not for our host Veronica who took it to whole different level altogether and made it such an enjoyable and fun evening, even though we had walked in without prior reservation. She has an uncanny knowledge of her guests' appetite and tastes, and made recommendations accordingly, for e.g. asking the Chef to char and render the fat on the skirt of the sirloin but leaving the meat as we had asked - medium. My only criticism would be the prices for the mains... which considering the reality of this country is very high. Cúmplice is one of the top 3 places to go to in Porto. The 2 others are: the coastline and the bridge/river part. We spent 4 nights in Porto and went to Cúmplice 3 of those nights for dinner. 🤣 My husband and I loved everything in the restaurant. The best service in Porto! We went to celebrate the birthday of my husband and everyone who worked there was super attentive and helpful. He was hesitant between two desserts and they served him both of them (one gifted). When we arrived I asked for a candle as well and they said it will be no problem. I think this place is pretty average and not at all worth the stars it has. However, the first thing was that we ordered non-alcoholic beers and they served an alcoholic one. Really beautiful and boutique restaurant with very interesting dishes. I would highly recommend that you get a reservation before you go there. Definitely recommend if you love a nice steak! Good atmosphere and friendly service. Food was lovely- steak was fantastic- but portion sizes were absolutely gigantic. Starters feed 2-3 people, sides are enough for 2 to share. We ended up massively over ordering and spending more than we needed to- I’d recommend you ask the servers how much they think you need. Pedro, the man who delivered the food made us feel like we are a part of the family and gave us such a great atmosphere! It’s a very nice restaurant for a night hangout. Staffs are friendly and amazing. The starter was very yummy. It comes with corn form (we thought it was egg) in the middle and works really well with the pork. The steak pretty good and has a strong smoked taste. Would recommend trying the truffle mash potato which has very interesting texture yet delicious. However, the pasta was just okay as we find it a bit salty. Our second night in Porto and our second excellent dinner experience. Cúmplice had great reviews to live up to and it exceeded them. Beginning with a warm greeting from Beatriz (I hope I have these names right!), who sat us at our preferred table, the service was outstanding. Guilherme was our main waiter and greeted us with sangria and warm rolls with three delicious spreads. He spent time explaining various wines and recommended starters and dessert after explaining a number of different options. João worked with Guilherme and made sure our wine glasses weren’t empty, took our picture and generally made sure we were happy. The Pork Floyd was an excellent and generous starter. We each had Filet as our main course which arrived sliced with coarse salt and two sauces. The Smoked Sausage Dark Rice was a flavorful side item. Not that we had room for dessert but we did order the “Forest” (three types of chocolate) which was also good. Overall a tremendous dinner. I had Picanha at many places and I'm quite sure this one is on the top 5. It was high quality meat cooked at the perfect point, medium rare, as I like. The sides are incredibly delicious and the portion size is quite fair. I surely got .500kg Picanha and couldn't finish all the mashed potatoes. Everything was so good I even forgot about the pictures, I only took one from the desert, which besides the good presentation it was an explosion of flavors. Even though it's on the pricey side, this place definitely deserves its good reputation, and I do recommend it... They provided a free bread appetizer with some dipping sauces that were fantastic along with a melon and citrus drink which was refreshing on after a long day. The Tuna starter was cooked to perfection with the real star player being the potato mash that brought the teriyaki and soy flavor together. As for mains… one of the best, if not the best, steaks I have had in my life. Seared to a perfect medium rare. The green onion mash potatoes was out of the world and whipped so much that it had an unbelievably creamy texture. The seafood tagliatelle had all the components cooked nicely. The scallop perfect. The shrimp perfect. The pasta absolutely perfect! I would not be surprised if they get a Michelin Star soon! Although our Tomahawk was slightly overcooked for my taste (since my parents wanted medium) and they wanted to take it back but we didn’t want to wait and it was good enough for my parents. We were tourists and shopping in the neighborhood. Read some Google reviews and decided to give it a try. The reception staff was really friendly and although we had no reservation, we were given a coveted table by the big glass window. We were even given two glasses of free cocktails before ordering. A very good start. We ordered a Tim Burton (don't know why the name) salad, medium sirloin for two and a lovely Apple dessert. All was delicious and cooked to perfection. The steak in particular was smoky and high quality, with beautiful flavour. We also really enjoyed and very much appreciated the complimentary house sangria on arrival, with complimentary warm bread and three flavoured butters and yoghurt for the bread, as well as chocolate truffles at the end of the meal! Dining at this establishment during our visit to Porto was one of the best decisions I could have made. Dining in the 'Glass room' was a memorable experience for a special occasion. The service staff are skilled, courteous and multilingual! The food was very nice and not outrageously priced like other restaurants in England. The tomahawk was well cooked and nicely seasoned. My favourite dish was the olive powder mash potatoes, the olive powder was perfect and the excellence of the dish rivalled the steak itself. She was super cool and entertaining the whole night. Once seated, Riccardo took over as my waiter. All of his suggestions were excellent! Went to dinner here last night with my wife, baby and parents. We had the most lovely experience. Very high quality food and drinks, from our burrata starter, the nice green wine and cocktail, to the pasta with seafood and the delicious dry aged steak. Everything was really great. And to top it off we had 3 desserts which were all awesome. Will absolutely come back here for our next visit to Porto and i would recommend it to anyone. On top of that, they have the best and most friendly service i have had in Portugal. Also very baby friendly! We even forgot our bag with leftovers (way too good to throw away), and they helped us with handing the bag to my uber driver for a pickup delivery. I was looking forward to my dinner at Cúmplice Steakhouse, after reading many wonderful reviews both on Google and elsewhere, but after last night, unfortunately, I left disappointed. The service was perfect, in spite of their concern with regard to leaving by the end of my designated window, from 7:15pm to 9:15pm, which I did. The complimentary drink was lovely, as were the rolls and assorted butters. For my ‘Starter,’ I chose the ‘TIM BURTON — Smoked burrata, lettuce mix, mizunas, duck smoked ham and balsamic strawberry sorbet, €14,’ and it was very good. For my ‘Grilled’ selection, I chose the ‘RIBEYE +250 GR — Good concentration of marbling that melts on the grill, giving a unique and juicy flavour, €30,’ cooked medium-rare, which my waiter said was the kitchen’s choice. The thin steak, sliced and plated on a metal serving tray in the kitchen had a lot of flavor, and the right amount of salt, although they did include a small dish of extra salt, and numerous reviews stated there was too much salt; if fresh pepper were available, I would have added some. Unfortunately, I found the steak very tough, and even removed a few bites that I couldn’t chew; the fat is always tasty, but I left at least half of the €30 steak on my plate, even though I picked through the entire serving. I was served a compliment side of potatoes, which were very tasty, but too soupy for my liking. I did not stay for dessert. To start off, we were trying to find a place at the last minute and they graciously squeezed our party of 3 in a table despite running late. We were kindly greeted by the hostess who seated us promptly. Our waiter, Nelson, was amazing. He was very thorough in his descriptions, humorous, and spoke wonderful English. They began with complimentary Sangria which was extremely refreshing. For starters I had the ‘Slow Show’, which was a slow cooked veal cheek accompanied with various other things. It was an amazing dish. My parents shared the Atlântida and the Coletânea de Cogumelos. They both agreed it was great quality and flavor all around. My main course was the Ribeye (the one-person portion) cooked medium rare. The meat was cooked perfectly to my asking and the meat was tender. My parents both enjoyed the ‘Sete Mares’ and were take aback by how uniquely (in a good way) the shrimp was flavored. We all then split the Açores and Pudim for dessert. The sorbets on both dishes were the highlights. I enjoyed everything, but have to say the lemon curd stood out for me. The service was immaculate all the way through and the food was above and beyond. All this was achieved in a beautifully decorated environment that was semi-casual. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is in the area! Everything was amazing. Very friendly staff and fabulous service with great atmosphere. We had the burrata and veal cheek as appetizers and both were very good with so many variations of flavor. Had a ribeye each, medium rare which was cooked perfectly for a thin cut. The beef is from Spain, as rhey said which was top quality. I went to Porto for a solo trip and wanted to treat myself during my last night in Portugal and I couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant. The service was amazing - the best service I’ve ever received in any restaurant. :) I will definitely come back here if I’m ever back in Porto because the food was also incredible! One of the best experiences we had in a dinner. We arrived a bit early but they accommodated us very well! The staff was super friendly, explaining every single dish , we never felt abandoned by the staff. When I told friends I was going to a restaurant with a 4.9 rating, their first reaction was “out of scale 10?”. But no, this is a restaurant which deserves a 5 out of 5 stars. As a person who owns a green egg (size L) at home, I do know how grill works. But the food at cumplice is different, so flavorful! The drink was good, the meat was perfect, the service was great, the deserts were wow. My kid gave it 6 stars out of 5 because of the xl size fresh orange juice. This is the restaurant I’d visit if we come to Porto again. It is a signature restaurant in our diary of journeys. BTW, it is very cheap for what you get. I tried to go Sunday but they were full so made reservations for Tuesday. From entrance to leaving it was one of the best restaurants i have ever been to. The welcome drink was crisp and refreshing, service super attentive (major cudos to Diogo and Ella, fabulous people with good humor and the best recommendations). We didn’t have reservations for the evening and yet we were warmly welcomed and seated by Patricia. This was top 10 dining experiences of my life. We went with the server recommendations. Pork and mushrooms as starters and the T-Bone for the main. All was amazing. The topper is how genuine and kind the staff are. Our cocktails and sangria were excellent and I used to be a fine dining bartender. The steak was cooked to perfection. We originally stepped into Muu Restaurant(which has the same owner) unfortunately they were fully booked but the owner was so kind to recommend us this restaurant. He even phone ahead so his staff knew of our arrival,Top class customer care and service. Once we got to Cumplice the staff were so attentive and welcoming. Food is PERFECT. We had a shared rib eye steak with side of fries and grilled veg. Very good experience there with an amazing staff who cares about you and makes you feel comfortable. Steak was great, wine too, went for the Forest for the dessert with a Porto wine at the end. Would have preferred to go for a fruity version for the dessert after I experienced the Forest one. However the Forest dessert is also really nice. Very focused on chocolate, salty and caramel flavors with the freshness of the ice cream afterwards. Ending my trip in Porto in such a pleasant memorable way! Great food and incredible environment is what you can find in this restaurant. Once you arrive you are happily surprised by a welcome drink and nice and welcoming hostess. The only hard choice was to chose from a few of the appetizers, highly recommended the Pork Floyd and the Slow show, so rich in taste. As main dish we chose the Rib-eye and a few side dishes. I would highlight the dark rice and the fries. When it came to the time of choosing desert again we wanted to try everything but we definitely would advice to try the Fruto proibido, an apple pie in shape of a pie. Tastes like Christmas already, yummm! To sum up, I would like to come here again in my next trip to Oporto. This is simply the best Steakhouse I have ever tried *****!
