  Tried a couple of times to get a table, always busy, so I recommend booking. Very nicely decorated and great atmosphere and service. The kitchen is open at the back of the restaurant so you can see what's going on. Good selection of drinks available and a reasonable choice of food dishes, though not a huge menu. Prices were reasonable. We were in a party of 5, had the sirloin steak, original burger, and chicken stroganoff. The steak was cooked superbly, tender, tasty, and exactly as ordered. The original burger is genuinely the best burger I have ever had, tender and tasty. The chicken stroganoff was sadly only OK. It lacked flavour and far too little chicken, and the potato sticks (crisps) didn't really go with the dish. Overall though, it was a very enjoyable experience and would recommend.   Waited over an hour for starters, gave us one round of free drinks to accommodate the delay but with 2 out of the 4 of us drinking water it didn’t really make up for much. Food was okay, starters were nice but mains were average and one was cold but we all work in the service industry so didn’t want to kick up a fuss. Waitress was lovely and even though we don’t speak Portuguese it was very clear she was trying her best to prompt the kitchen to hurry up. Also they keep the front door open which makes you very cold when you’re sat still for as long as we were. Just a bit disappointing for our last night of our holiday, especially when the restaurant is so highly rated.   Great small restaurant with friendly staff. It was busy, though we managed to get bar seats in the window. We both had the gourmet burger which was superb, and shared a shroompão – the fries were shaped perfectly for dipping!   Fantastic service and the food! I had one of the best steaks in Portugal. Cooked for perfection and the price is very reasonable! The restaurant is located very close to the center of Porto but it is in a relatively quiet area. It’s a good spot to get away from the crowd and enjoy a great meal and a drink!   I’m a foodie and I can confidently state that Elee’s is one of the best restaurants in Porto.   This is my second time dining here and at first I was disappointed with the pumpkin soup, which seemed to have gone off/sour. However, the staff remedied the situation by offering the broccoli soup, which as fresh and delicious. Butter prawns were fresh and flavorful. Super Bock as refreshing as I remembered. Great service.   After a few days visiting Lisbon, Porto and the Douro Valley, we were somewhat looking forward to a good burger and fries before flying back out and we found this place. That was the intention, but once there I was tempted by the Shrumpao, a delicious litlle bun filled with cheese and a creamy mushroom sauce, which was simply delicious, and then came the burger, a nice patty with cheese and a very tasty relish, which I followed with a chocolate fondant with vanilla Ice Cream. Busy central location is close to town, personnel friendly and helpful, and on sunny days there is an outdoors seating area. I definitely think worth a visit.   Not your Authentic Portuguese Restaurant. Ordered Steak and Burger. Not really impressed with the burger but it wasn’t bad. I like my steak medium rare and my uncle likes it medium. Both came out medium rare and they said that’s just how they do ‘em haha! Steak was decent but it doesn’t compare to AAA Angus. Flavor was nice but cut wasn’t too great. The servers seemed busy, although it was a light evening, and took longer than usual to bring items but it wasn’t too bad. I’d say average quality all around. 3 starts all day.   I made a Reservation 1 month prio for a birthday. I texted them on instagram and they confirmed everything and that its noted. Today we went for our Reservation at 8pm and they didnt have anything noted down and they let us wait because everything was full. ON top of that they said they dont give Reservations past 6pm?!. When he said he would ask his Boss, i saw him chitchatting with someone else the whole time and Smoking outside not caring. So we just left for another place.   Great food and very friendly service. We arrived fairly late to Porto and Elee's was one of the closest places to our accommodation. The waiter was very welcoming and friendly throughout our meal. There was a nice atmosphere as the restaurant was quite busy. For food we ordered striploin steaks and carbonara spaghetti. The steak was very tender and very tasty and for €19.5 we felt it was very good value for a quality steak. The carbonara spaghetti was rich, flavourful and had plenty of meat - also well worth its €14 price tag! Would definitely recommend this place!   Definitely one of my favourite places in Porto by far. The owners are so welcoming, friendly staff and the food is absolutely delicious.   When we arrived it was busy and it had a good atmosphere which would let you think this must me a very popular place and the food must be as good it looked in the pictures but sadly it wasn't. we ordered a starter to begin with and then 2 main courses. Crispy Chicken Escalope main and Beef strogonoff and a pitcher of Sangria. The Sangria arrived it was 3/4 juice and about some red wine at top and so much fruit .it looked more like a fruit salad. The order came 40 minutes after and they served our starter with the main courses. The beef strogonoff was almost cold and the beef was not cooked to order, it was hard and tasteless and the chicken Escalope was infact 3 small chicken fillets not Escalope. We left disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone. Asked them via chat whether they were open and had vegetarian options. They replied very quickly and confirmed both queries. We then went there and had a lovely experience. Waiter Dan has been very welcoming and friendly. Place is very narrow but he got us to dine in. Hubby got a nice burger whose meat was very tender and tasty.   This is one of the few places on Santa Catarina that serves food after 10:00 p.m. The vibe is great, the service is fantastic. I had the crispy chicken tortilla and hubby had the original burger and both were really tasty. I know that the crispy chicken tortilla is an appetizer, but the tortilla was a small one. We also split a bottle of white wine. We tried both white wines they had and neither were fantastic but we drank it anyway. The offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Recommend!   The place looks good but the service was very chaotic. Waited 15 min without anyone coming to our table, even after making eye contact. I would have liked to order at the bar but I was told to wait at the table. In the meantime other people arrived and were served. It started raining a bit so we moved inside. We should have left. There we basically had to start again the waiting. Someone asked if we ordered, then they left. Another person came and took our order. Then another person came to take our order again. We just wanted a glass of wine, it took over 1h to get it, drink it, get the bill and pay. This was probably bad luck, and the place looks nice, so it’s 2 stars. But apart from that my experience was bad and not really justified by the amount of customers or a lack of waiters. It just seems unorganized.   We ended up getting into town super late and were hoping to get a late dinner but there wasn’t much open. We saw Elee’s was open, but it turned out their kitchen had closed and they were wrapping up for the night. Despite that, their chef offered to make us some food with what they had left over from the dinner service that day and whipped up an incredible bolognese pasta. They were all so kind and welcoming and this pasta was one of the best dishes we had on our trip! We ended up returning to the restaurant for our final dinner of our trip as well because we loved it so much. The vibe was great, staff very nice, and the food was incredible! HIGHLY recommend! Seating inside is a mix of raised tables with comfy stools and a window counter area. Otherwise, the service is incredibly slow with no sense of urgency for any of the kitchen staff. We ordered for take out and all the seated guests who arrived after were being served first. It looked like they did not know what they were doing and there was no consistency with the wraps we ordered. Half the menu was also unavailable as they didnt have enough ingredients. Lots of room for improvement, hopefully they are able to work on these areas.
