The service is warm and personable. The whole place has maybe 20 seats. Everything is prepared fresh on the spot.   Experimentamos este restaurante através de pesquisa do The Fork. O espaço é pequenino, com poucos lugares para sentar e aconchegante, dá o conforto de proximidade. Quanto à comida o portobelo estava delicioso, já a bowl fica aquém das expectativas, no que diz respeito à combinação dos ingredientes, porém a nível de frescura estava impecável. O Ceviche também é uma óptima opção.

  Impressionante. O melhor restaurante possível, por um preço inferior a 50€ por pessoa você come pratos mágicos. Atendimento impecável, sobremesas, vinhos, tudo excelente. A melhor notícia é que tenho um voo direto e barato da Ryanair da minha cidade para o Porto. Não creio que haja nada melhor em toda a Europa, provavelmente é possível no Líbano ou no Peru, mas na Espanha cobram e nunca atendem tão bem. Ideal para casais (mesas de 2) e sem filhos. As crianças não poderão apreciar pratos tão requintados. Recomendo ir cedo, para evitar que fique lotado (coisa normal). Quem entra quer comer de tudo, logicamente. Fui jantar às 19h e lotou imediatamente. O truque é que os proprietários trabalham impecavelmente mas não contratam pessoal, para não os copiarem e porque baixaria muito o nível. Pequeno é bonito. 2 trabalhando para 14 clientes

  We came here with our 5 yo. The server made him comfortable and played a little game of tic tac toe with him. The wine they selected for us was as we described and perfectly paired with our meal. The food was prepared with fresh ingredients and specially made right in front of us. I think we got more than the value we paid for.   What a lovely restaurant! The service is both kind and informative, the chef is excellent, and the ambiance very inviting. The menu is very creative, and the presentation is beautiful. My husband had the shakshuka, which was SO full of flavor and came with freshly baked sourdough bread, and I had the portabello mushroom dish which was also delicious (as well as gorgeous).   A friend suggested this restaurant - and we ended up eating dinner here 3 times on our 11 day stay in Porto, so obviously we loved it. Chef Hans and Maria made our evenings quite pleasant every time. Chef is simply an artist - my wife loves to watch him as he prepares everyone’s food behind a glass-front bar area. Meanwhile Maria makes you feel welcome and relaxed, helpfully guiding our wine and food choices. Our favorites were the tuna bowl, the scallops and salmon tartar. We’re not sure if we’ll get back to Porto, but we’ll definitely go here when we do.   This is a great little restaurant. It's very small but so worth it if you want to try something fresh, colorful and tasty. Everything on the menu seems unique and it's set apart from most of the other restaurants in the area. Portion sizes are fine but if you're looking for a big meal you may have to order multiple dishes. The service was probably the fastest we've had in 4 days in Porto. That was a pleasant surprise.   Wife and I dropped in just after 7pm and as per prior comments you need to get there before 7pm when they open or reserve a table. Waitress and Chef were great and food was very tasty. We sat at the bar which is facing the left wall as you walk in but was absolutely fine seeing as we just walked in. I won't post pics as prior comments show the great food, and wine was fab also. Will definitely go back but just before 7pm and try to get a table but if not then the bar will be fine for us. Great place. It's a tiny restaurant and you may have to wait to find a place and big groups may not fit, but if you have the chance to get a table, all the food options will be a good one.   An extraordinary, intimate dining experience. The tiny dining area in front has only five tables for two and several counter seats. The rear contains the open kitchen where the talented chef prepares an eclectic mix of Asian, Italian and other cuisines to create some of the most inspired treats, which are served tapas style. We started with the burrata cheese with truffles, hibiscus infused honey, pickled radishes and greens, which was out of this world. Next up was the salmon bowl, which combined fresh salmon in sweet chilli sauce and chives, edamame, mango, pickled ginger, seaweed salad and housemade kimchi over Japanese rice to create a true taste treat worthy of the finest Japanese chef. Then we shared the tuna tartare with avocado, red onion, chives, crispy onion topping and ponzu sauce. Obviously inspired by the popular Hawaiian-Japanese tuna poke, this version took it to the next level. All the dishes used only the finest, freshest ingredients and were beautifully presented. A very reasonably priced bottle of white wine from Vinha D' Ervideira was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. A simple vanilla gelato affogato followed by some delicious port wine was the perfect ending. The food was amazing, the friendly service impeccable and our evening delightful. A pequena área de jantar em frente tem apenas cinco mesas para dois e vários balcões. A parte traseira contém a cozinha aberta onde o talentoso chef prepara uma mistura eclética de cozinhas asiática, italiana e outras para criar algumas das delícias mais inspiradas, servidas no estilo tapas. Começamos com o queijo burrata com trufas, mel com infusão de hibisco, rabanetes em conserva e verduras, que estava fora deste mundo. Em seguida veio a tigela de salmão, que combinava salmão fresco com molho de pimenta doce e cebolinha, edamame, manga, gengibre em conserva, salada de algas marinhas e kimchi caseiro com arroz japonês para criar um verdadeiro sabor digno do melhor chef japonês. Depois dividimos o tártaro de atum com abacate, cebola roxa, cebolinha, cobertura crocante de cebola e molho ponzu. Obviamente inspirada no popular poke de atum havaiano-japonês, esta versão levou-o ao próximo nível. Todos os pratos utilizaram apenas os melhores e mais frescos ingredientes e foram lindamente apresentados. Uma garrafa de vinho branco da Vinha D' Ervideira, com preços bastante razoáveis, foi o acompanhamento perfeito para a refeição. Um simples gelato affogato de baunilha seguido de um delicioso vinho do Porto foi o final perfeito. A comida era incrível, o serviço simpático impecável e a nossa noite encantadora. Nós rimos durante todo o caminho de volta ao nosso hotel.

  Had the best start to our trip to Porto in Viva the night we arrived. The food, service and experience were all outstanding. The knowledge and passion Hans and Nathalia have is apparent from start to finish especially in the unique and mouthwatering dishes. I particularly enjoyed listening to and watching Hans interact with 2 guests who sat at the counter as he cooked and prepared dishes so tranquilly and natural. We adored everything we ate - the burrata injected with port wine, the vegan nachos and the shakshuka were all so full of flavour and perfect for sharing so we could fit in as many dishes as possible from the menu.   The only thing I can fault this place for is the name, which was the reason this was a last minute choice rather than the meal we built our holiday around. Only seats left were at the bar, which turned out to be a godsend. We got to see Hans, the Portuguese-Brazilian chef, prepare all the dishes in his diminutive kitchen, slicing, gracing and moulding with artistry and care. He and our waitress were both lovely and were overjoyed at our visible appreciation of the food. Port-injected burrata, baked muscles and an Asian-inspired scallop ceviche were all a triumph. Pedimos o tártaro de atum (muito bom) e um prato cujo nome não me lembro (shara...) que estava incrível. Para a sobremesa, que não tem no cardápio, não trouxeram uma espécie de rato cremoso de chocolate com leve sabor de laranja que deu o toque final.   Delicious delicacy and visual feast! So much affection in flavour and presentation. In our short three night trip to Porto we went there twice. In our first visit there were only two seats left – at the bar. After that experience, sitting at the bar seeing the chef preparing the dishes with such a fineness and creativity, we wanted to come back to try more of the dishes we saw. Everything we tasted was so delicious and the service was very friendly, fast and accurate.   Food made with love. There was not one dish that our party did not salivate over. The burrata injected with port and the camembert were exceptional. The wines were well priced and delicious. You can not book in advance so suggest to get there early to grab a table. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so friendly and welcoming.   So just had an amazing surprised experience at this fab resto around the corner from our Airbnb _only 7 months In business / thinking the competition might be a little nervous / for good reason. Had a long day touring the Douro Valley _ very beautiful, but as I am gluten allergic , I was famished for a meal. My hubby found this gem and declared that we must go / I was otherwise destined to gluten free bread and jam . Instead we went. They obliged to let us in even though they were closing in 15 minutes. Well I managed just better than fine with my smoked salmon salad main and fig infused burrata cheese as starter. I will add the pics later. Best Portugal restaurant so far. I am picky. Fresh, tasty, inventful, it has that extra yesssssss factor ! Congrats you two ! AND the manager and the chef(husband of controller) , make sure all is well and all are happy.   My girlfriend and I stayed in Porto for 3 nights and ate here twice for dinner we enjoyed it so much! We ordered quite a lot on both occasions but our favourite two dishes were probably the vegan nachos and the chocolate parfait for dessert! Don’t be fooled by the prices of the dishes either as they’re very big and filling.   We had the dips with sourdough bread and a pear salad with some wine and everything was delicious. We stumbled upon this place quite by accident! We stopped to gawk at the view and literally followed the smell inside. Turns out the place just opened today.
