  I've always struggled to find Veggie options and decided to pay Parsley & Thyme a visit. It had great reviews and I wasn't disappointed. My friend and I shared the Indian Thali, it was delicious and wasn't too hot. Staff were very attentive asking if we were veggies or vegans, then explaining the options. I'd contacted the restaurant beforehand to reserve a table and request the menu. Their communication was excellent.   Nestled within Silves, this quaint cafe feels like a hug in a mug. The host is warm, welcoming and very homely! We had the best onion bhagis at this cafe (and we are foodies and have tried them all) The food is exceptional! It’s like eating at your grandmas home on a Sunday afternoon. I’d highly recommend.   The food was ok, it was a quiet evening and most of the food was only tepid. I had the mixed thali that was pretty bland. However my guest had other food the all agreed was very nice.   I have been hearing about this place for a while now. It is generally described as a vegetarian restaurant (which it is) but it is so much more. It is located in one of the side streets in the centre of Silves, and has indoor and outdoor service. The service is very friendly and helpful. The food is marvellous and could best be described as having middle eastern and Indian influences. I will definitely be going back there. I haven't heard a bad word against it.   My wife and I are not vegetarians, but we had to try the highest rated restaurant in Silves. We weren't disappointed. Parsley and Thyme is tiny (at least when there's no outdoor seating during the winter). It's an intimate setting hosted by Ashley, arguably the best waiter I've had the fortune to encounter in six decades of traveling Europe and elsewhere. My Namaste Burger was a bit dry, but the rest of our food and drink was fantastic.   Excelente experiência gastronômica. Proprietário muito gentil, simpático e atencioso. Menu atraente, difícil de fazer uma escolha. Escolha de bebidas não alcoólicas bastante originais (é raro notar!). Lá a gente come vegetariano, é muito, muito bem temperado, com muito equilíbrio.   I had contacted the restaurant before we travelled to Portugal as I wanted to check that there would be no problem to have gluten free and also nightshade free meals.. I was reassured that this would be perfectly fine and they even gave me directions to the massive car park in Silves. On arrival we were greeted by friendly hosts and had a chat about the food available that day. Everything we ordered was delicious and despite none of us being vegetarian we were happy with the meals. I tried the burger and you honestly couldn't tell that it was not meat, it was delicious! My husband had an indian tapas selection and the chef even made a gluten free chapati for him! The restaurant is small so it's probably worth booking ahead during busy times. We cannot thank the owners & chef enough for the trouble they went to for us!   Just had a beautiful lunch here in Parsley & Thyme. The place was very busy but the owner made time for everyone and explained there might be a little waiting time due to the volume of people.   Incriveis explosões de sabores,! Um restaurante indiano de outro campeonato.... que por acaso até é vegan e que bate de longe todos os indianos deste país! Pena ser tão longe (para quem não vive no Algarve). Numa pequena mas simpaática ruela bem próximo da marginal de Silves. Brutalíssimo !
